Une semaine parfaite en famille. Visites, randonnées, plage (même si l'eau est un peu fraiche début mai), restaurants et gastronomie locale (avons loué une voiture pour parcourir l'île). Nous avons profité au maximum. Georgia a été très bien, tant au niveau de la communication, l'accueil, ses recommandations et sa disponibilité. Séjour au calme à 50 m de la mer, la maison est charmante avec son grand jardin et ses équipements extérieurs. Intérieur confortable, literie parfaite, salle de bains idem. A part les petits déjeuners nous avons mangé un soir en terrasse sinon tout le temps en extérieur. Nous avons adoré !

I am originally from Corfu but I've been living abroad for most of my life. I contemplated writing this review in Greek, but the reality is that Corfiots already know what a gem of a flat this is. So I am writing this in English to help anyone else who wants to visit. This is the most amazing AirBnB you will find in Corfu old town, period. If you've watched the Durrell tv series and wondered how it would feel to live in that era, but with modern amenities and comfort, look no further. Maria and Francesca's place is the most warm, authentic, well-kept, 200 year old apartment I have ever been to. St. Spiridon, Old and New Fortress, Liston square, Faliraki beach, Yacht Club, Kapodistrias' home, the Sunrise and Sunset are all there for you to enjoy from your countless windows or the one-of-a-kind Belvedere outpost, accessible by an interior staircase. Now, if you happen to spend Greek Easter here, you are in for a treat. You can see the fireworks, marching bands etc. right in front of you!

Une oasis ressourçante avec 2 terrasses magiques et inspirantes, une maison fraîche, et des beautés alentours à découvrir . Spyridon est un hôte généreux, aimable et authentique. Sur une île où hélas le tourisme peut faire des dégâts (comme partout), notre séjour dans ce petit paradis et l’échange chaleureux avec son hôte ont été savoureux. Je recommande vivement

We loved our time at this villa. The host was very helpful and had a concierge available to assist as well. The property is clean and well maintained with everything you need. The location is perfect, just off the main road so it’s an easy drive to Corfu and other little towns. The restaurant next store, is good if you want a close spot for dinner or a drink. There is a water taxi that can be arranged from the dock at the restaurant as well.

Wir hatten wunderbare zwei Wochen als Gast von Spyros in der schönen Villa Kommeno, mit eigenem Garten, Zugang zum Meer und herrlichem Blick über die Bucht von Gouvia. Wir können uns den vielen anderen Bewertungen nur anschließen. Haus, Lage, Ausstattung, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants - einfach perfekt! Die Liste der Nachteile ist kurz; sollte man aber wissen, bevor man bucht. Die laute Straße hinter dem Haus, aber selbst wir, die in einem ruhigen Dorf wohnen, haben uns schnell dran gewöhnt. Nachts ist Ruhe. Der Zugang zu Meer ist kein Strand, sondern eine Mauer, von der man mit einem Schritt ins knietiefe Wasser steigen kann. Nach ein paar Schritten ist das Wasser tief genug zum Schwimmen in der Bucht. Badeschuhe sind zu empfehlen. Das Wasser ist nicht so klar wie am offenen Meer, aber dafür hat man eine exklusive , perfekt ausgestattete Liegewiese, ohne ölige Handtuch-Nachbarn mit Ghetto-Blaster auf Tuchfühlung. Wir haben dieses Privileg sehr genossen.

Our first visit dates back to 2018, the price has more than doubled since then, but they have done (and still are doing) a lot of work on the property! Landslides make their lives hard in that scenic spot and we hope they‘ll manage to save that paradise on the cliff for many years to come. The location is a dream come true, pretty cosy little house, nice bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, staircase directly to a beach which you basically don’t need to share with anyone. The garden is huge and offers many places to sit, shady trees on hot days. Taverna Avra is across the beach and just as friendly and good (closed only on Tuesdays). If you need groceries you’ll find them In Agios Mattheos, not far by car. Many walking and hiking or biking options in the area, so bring your bike or SUP if you can. As long as I live I will treasure and try to get back to this place and I wish the sweet family of George and Kamelia a happy season with equally enthusiastic guests!

Gerasimos was always very quick to respond to all our questions. Particularly our questions on local tavernas. He went out of his way to arrange food for our first night, he recommended a great driver and vehicles and supported us with transfer details. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Fantastic views from the villa and amazing sunsets. Great play area in the semi basement for the family with their young children… only shame no windows but the description states that. Kitchen area was a little small but we managed it. We had a fabulous week with the family… and would definitely return!!

Wow! What a great spot in a cute little beach town that is quiet and less crowded than most on the pristine western side of Corfu. TWO cold ACs will have your unit as low as 63F in the peak of summer heat, and honestly that's a prerequisite for me. You know how funny Europeans are about air conditioning, and sadly a lot of ABnBs have crappy ACs that don't work. And let me tell you, there's nothing quite like the feeling of opening the door to a wall of ICE COLD air after a fun day baking in the 100 degree mediterranean sun! The unit is clean, has an incredible large balcony where you can take in the fresh sea breeze in the mornings, and the beaches are fairly low-key and not as busy as some in towns further north. If you're on the fence, grab this unit ASAP before it books!

Un très bel Airbnb conforme aux photos et bien situé à Saranda. La vue sur la mer était extraordinaire. La porte à code est très pratique pour un grand groupe comme le nôtre, comme ça pas besoin de clé ! Juste quelques points à ajouter sur des équipements manquants : - gel douche - shampoing - papier toilette - dosettes de café - sacs poubelles - cendrier

A fantastic villa in a quiet but central location on the island, with enough shops and restaurants within walking distance but also only a short drive to supermarkets and nearby beach resorts and Corfu Town. The villa is exactly like the photos, immaculately presented and with a very nice surprise of a welcome food & drink hamper - particularly useful as we arrived late on a Sunday! The outside space is fantastic for kids, fully enclosed and the hot-tub/pool combination were enjoyed by all - with a good size gas bbq for hosting/dining outside. Rooms were all a good size and the main living area has everything you could possibly need, loads of plates, glasses etc and a smart TV and bluetooth stereo system. Would definitely recommend! Daphne was a great host too, always on hand and very responsive to any questions or requests.

Such a wonderful holiday. Great views. Perfect location. Fantastic host. Very comfortable beds. Great kitchen. Pool warm, sun beds comfy. Close to beaches. 100% brilliant.

The villa is a special accommodation with a spectacular view. Dora and her mother were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. We loved staying here!!! ♥️

My family of 7 had a very comfortable stay. We loved the water front and the easy access to the water. We will recommend to family and friends to stay in this beautiful location. We like that it was more private and out of the main city but close enough to drive to all the sites. Super friendly staff at the bar, very helpful and informative. ❤️

We absolutely loved our stay here. We had a 17 month old toddler and the whole trip was perfect for us. There’s a supermarket on the road and we hired a car so that we could travel around and explore the beaches across the island. The maisonette was spotless and the cleaner was great, coming everyday which was such a help. The lady at check in was wonderful and helped me out with a local pharmacy, providing lots of information about what to do around the area and where to eat etc. The pool area was lovely, always clean and very quiet as it only ever seemed to be us to use it. We would highly recommended and would definitely return!

Do yourself a favor and book this place! The apartment was beautiful and had everything you could need. The bed was big and incredibly comfortable. We had so much fun sitting on the terrace at dusk, watching the people walking on the promenade below us, the starlings flit around above us, and the sun set over the sea. The apartment is literally right above the main promenade for the historic center, and a 4 min walk to the most gorgeous swimming area and beach club -- it could not have been more convenient or walkable. Showers in this part of the world tend to be pretty small, but the shower in Alexandra's apartment was fantastic. The internet was great. The kitchen had everything you could need. I literally cannot think of a single bad thing to say about this place. On top of all of that, Alexandra herself was incredibly helpful, connecting us with cab drivers and helping us with anything we needed. She was very responsive and so friendly. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Durch das ausführliche Video von Eleni war der Check In und alles Wichtige zur Unterkunft super erklärt und unkompliziert. Wir hatten Glück und konnten schon kurz nach 11 Uhr am Ankunftstag in die Wohnung. Das war mit dem Gepäck eine große Erleichterung und wir konnten den ganzen Anreisetag nutzen. Wenn wir eine Frage hatten, hat Eleni sofort regiert und weitergeholfen. Die Wohnung ist sehr neu, alles ist hochwertig, sauber und schön eingerichtet. Der Blick vom Balkon ist toll. Den Straßenlärm hört man bei geschlossenen Fenstern kaum. Unterhalb der Wohnung befinden sich direkt nette Restaurants. Die Altstadt mit weiterer Gastronomie und Geschäften ist ebenso wie der Hafen zu Fuß erreichbar. Von dort aus kann man Ausflüge mit dem Boot (z.B. für 5€ hin und zurück zur kleinen Insel Vido) oder dem Mietwagen planen. Mit dem Bus kann man für 2€ zu anderen Stränden an der Küste entlang fahren. Es hat uns rundum gefallen und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We were so lucky to find this special place to stay in Corfu. It was absolutely perfect for our holiday - in a stunning location with views of the sea, a lovely garden, and a short walk to a beautiful, pebble beach. The accommodation was simple but had everything we needed and was very clean. Dinos and Connie were wonderful hosts - friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the company of their friendly dogs and cats! We hired a car to explore the island but there were plenty of good tavernas within a short walk of the accommodation, and also a bus service within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again if we decided to return to Corfu for a holiday. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Dinos and Connie!

Elena was a wonderful host who went out of her way to personally welcome us during check-in. She shared many great tips for things to do in the area and was always available, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. She was very accommodating with our check-out and made sure we felt completely comfortable and at home. Everything was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!

This is a great apartment to stay in to explore Corfu town. It is a 2 minute walk away from some lovely bars and restaurants and then you are straight into Corfu old town. The apartment itself is a very high standard with excellent facilities including very quiet AC. I would highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay at Spyro’s apartment . It was quiet and this is what I needed. The bed was comfortable and everything clean . I was keen to have an earlier check in and this was possible I could also check out a little later . The communication was fabulous and they even arranged a taxi to come for me to take me to the airport on check out. Very close to a beautiful view point , shops and restaurants . Also quiet though not a noisy area . I would highly recommend .

We had a great stay at Niko’s place. Right by the ocean with a great view across the bay to the old fortress. We swam every morning off the pier by the windmill. Great spot to chill and meet some locals. Many restaurants to pick from right outside your door and a short walk to old town. Our cleaner was very friendly and kept the place spotless.

Clare and I had a 10 day stay here, communication with Magdellini was very good, and her Mum Chryrssa was a joy, great for local information and became a real friend over the time of our stay. You have to give this place 5 stars as the situation is second to none, fantastic views, early morning and late night swims from the beach, great restraunts on your doorstep but far enough away for them not to disturb the tranquility, the accommodation is pretty basic and probably would benefit from a little updating, we had a fantastic holiday there and would recommend it to anyone, thinking of staying, we both would definitely go again in a heart beat..
