Séjour très agréable chez Irène. Maison très bien située au milieu des oliviers et à proximité de beaucoup d endroits. Irène est une personne très accueillante, gentille, attentionnée.....nous avons eu droit à des petites spécialités en arrivant et en rentrant le soir.... je recommande grandement . Merci Irène

Konstantinos’s place is perfect. The location is beautiful and only a short drive to some of best beaches we have ever been to. The pool is so lovely and surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. I have never had a shower with such a good view! I wouldn’t change a thing and would recommend to anyone.

We had a fantastic stay in Michalis's lovely corner suite. It was cozy, unique, and had everything we needed, plus nice extras like a washer, a second bathroom and street parking (just do an extra lap around the block). The location was ideal, with traditional windows opening to a garden and ruins, and it was a short walk to everything while being away from the Old City crowds. Michalis was an amazing host—very responsive, provided great local tips, and even took time to offer us coffee and chat. He’s definitely one of the best hosts I've ever met. I highly recommend this place and a stay with Michalis!!

Unser Urlaub bei Kristina in der Bellavista-Unterkunft war absolut traumhaft!!!! Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier richtig. Mit dem mitessen ist man in 7 Minuten im nächsten größeren Ort wo man einkaufen und essen gehen kann. Innerhalb von 30-70 Minuten erreicht man problemlos die schönen Orte und Strände im „Wilden Westen Kretas“. (Auch das Autofahren ist auf Kreta das reinste Vergnügen und ein tolles abenteuerliches Erlebnis!) Aber auch ohne große Ausflüge zu unternehmen kann man in den Ferienhäuschen mit wunderschöner Terrasse, blitzsauberem Pool und fantastischem Ausblick ins Grün einfach tagelang die Seele baumeln lassen, Sonne tanken, auf Luftmatratzen im Pool treiben und Ruhe und Erholung genießen. Fast mussten wir uns losreißen, denn dieser Ort ist einfach unvergleichlich und ganz besonders. Kristina war immer herzlich und lieb und sofort erreichbar wenn wir uns meldeten, haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt! Ohne Übertreibung war das unser allerschönster Urlaub!!! ❤️❤

Amazing location!! So close to everything. Fully stocked home! Lovely balcony area for afternoon relaxing. Kitchen/baths very modern and updated. We would highly recommend!! Welcoming host.

If you're looking for a place where you can find peace and get inspired, this is definitely it. I love that this place is an authentic village where you can really experience the local Cretan life. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. The house is so interesting with lots of old photos and history. Some of the best beaches are just a few minutes away. I wouldn't recommend Elafonisi, it's really windy and sooo many people. Kedrodasos beach was probably our favourite but be ready for a steep walk up on the way back.

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Thank you to Matthew and the team for such a lovely stay. Matthew went above and beyond for the duration of our visit, even giving us a lift to the local winery. The villa was exactly as pictured and beautifully maintained. The host welcomed us with pastries and local delicacies, which were even topped up during our stay when the villa was serviced. Whilst in a peaceful and quaint location, a car is necessary to explore the island and all it has to offer. Public transport does exist but is infrequent and not always easy to understand. Definitely worth a trip to the traditional bakery located a few minutes walk from the villa. Although we had a fantastic time in the hot tub and pool, the hot tub could definitely have been hotter. Overall all I would recommend this to everyone, and we will certainly be returning to Doro Gold Villa! Thanks again! Emma and friends

Andreas und Georgia waren unglaublich gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, wenn man Fragen hatte. Gleichzeitig haben sie einem aber auch alle Freiheiten gelassen. Besonders schön fand ich die kleinen persönlichen Aufmerksamkeiten, die den Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht haben. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles – ihr seid fantastische Gastgeber!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house! The view of the sea is absolutely breathtaking — it’s the kind of place where you wake up and just want to sit outside all day soaking it in. The pool was a highlight as well: clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The house itself was spotless and very well taken care of, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Michalis was a wonderful host — always quick to respond and genuinely helpful with local tips and anything we needed. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway with great hospitality!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, von Anfang an. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut. Der Gastgeber war immer zu erreichen und hat sehr schnell reagiert. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und zum entspannen Ideal:)

Vi var meget begejstrede for at leje jeres virkeligt smukke bolig. Huset er helt fantastisk, det ligger med den mest fantastiske udsigt ud over byen, huset fremstod rent og pænt alle vegne, der var kælet for detaljerne overalt. Jeres værtskab, jeres service og vilje til at hjælpe os, med alt fra grundig introduktion til huset og dets faciliteter, ordring af fastfood, da vi ankom sent. Hvor finder vi en rigtig god slagter, bestilling af Taxa og flere andre spørgsmål, gav vores ophold en ekstra positiv dimension. Kombinationen af huset i sig selv og jeres værtskab, gjorde vores ferie til noget helt særligt. Som ganske enkelt skal have topkarakterer på alle parametre. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen. Simply stunning apartment, glorious views and easy access to the little village of Kalyves. We spent most days by the pool and evenings eating at the many restaurants by the beach. The apartment is beautiful and well equipped, the views from the living room are stunning. Eleni is an attentive and very responsive host who looked after us extremely well. We will be back very soon!

We loved the large balcony that wrapped around the apartment . The sunsets were incredible from there. The outside & inside furniture was of a very good quality and it was great to be able to sit out in the evenings. Inside is very well designed, a great layout, the kitchen is very well equipped and the sofas are very comfortable, the view from the sitting room and kitchen has an incredible sea view . The bathroom is really spacious with a great shower and 2 basins , all of a high standard. The 3 bedrooms all a good size, had lovely views towards the old village and town built up in to the mountain . The bedding was of an exceptional quality. The apartment was so close to the beach & to the the old town. We had incredible meals at both. A bus stop at the end of the road and many supermarkets were great too. Both Phillipe & Michelle were excellent hosts, attentive & helpful, you couldn’t fault them. We loved our stay! Thank you!

Das Airbnb war super schön, genau wie auf den Fotos und in der Beschreibung. Alles war sauber, ordentlich und gut vorbereitet. Wir haben eine tolle Einweisung bekommen und uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Lefteris war ein unglaublich freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber – mit vielen Tipps und Empfehlungen für die Umgebung. Man merkt, dass ihm seine Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegen. Had a wonderful time at this Airbnb! Location was superb, a great place for exploring easy reach of Chania and Rethymno. The town has 3 eating places, Monica’s was the highlight! Airbnb its self was so peaceful, with amazing views the outside space had been thought through with lovely dining areas and sunbeds, it gets the sun from midmorning to night. Would recommend to anyone, loved it!

We stayed at the cottage at the end of September during our Honeymoon trip to Crete. The place is a jewel nestled into the hillside, with a beautiful view of Falassarna and the northwest coast, especially at sunset. I agree with other reviews that the photos don't do it justice - it's a quaint and lovely place. It had everything we needed during our stay, including a well stocked kitchen, linens/towels, toiletries, and a ceiling fan + air conditioning in the large bedroom. The place was also perfectly clean! The location is great too - a less than 10 minute drive to Falassarna beach, and in the evenings, you can walk to some of the nearby restaurants, or drive a little further for more delicious options. But by far the greatest thing was our host/neighbor Irene. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, welcoming, and gave us tips for places to eat and visit during our stay. She made the place feel like home :) We highly recommend this place and hope to visit again!

We loved this place. The balcony was very large with a direct view of the sea. There was a natural swimming area in front of the place that was perfect for a dip anytime. The sunsets were amazing. It is close enough to walk to the Chania city center, but a car is recommended to visit the many beaches on the island. Elpida was always available for any guidance that was needed. The place is a gem we hope to visit again!

10/10 experience. Breathtaking views and sunset from the balcony, perfect location right on the harbor - surrounded by all of the best restaurants and places. The apartment is beautiful - clean, modern, great appliances. (The washing machine even uses AI). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and despite being in the middle of the action, it is so peaceful. I didn’t want to leave. I will be back here again. The hosts were incredible. Kind, helpful, proactive, and made such a nice experience for us. Thank you!!!!!

Manos and Christina were very friendly and responsive. All of our questions were answered promptly. The house was a little difficult to find at night but Christina was there at check in to show us around. At the house, there were supplies like eggs, lunch meat, bread, fresh fruit, olive oil , and a bottle of wine. This was greatly appreciated as we arrived after dark and it gave us some breakfast food for the morning. We loved the sound of the waves at night lulling us to sleep! The hosts also changed the bedding and sheets after a couple of days which was extremely thoughtful and generous. The house is close to many restaurants and has a few super markets near by. Close beaches were also nice and we enjoyed the peacefulness they provided prior to the big tourist season. Lake Kournas was beautiful and only about an hour drive from the house. Having a car was nice but not entirely necessary for the house’s location. Driving in Crete can be a little daunting but doable!
