Great Stay, Highly Recommended! Prajwal and the co-hosts were very cooperative and generous throughout the stay. The property is located about 1.5 km from Rankala Lake, which makes it quite accessible yet peaceful. The room was exactly as described and matched the photos—clean and comfortable, with a similarly well-maintained bathroom. It’s definitely a better option than hotels in the same price range. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend this place to others.

I recently stayed at Home away from Home, hosted by Amey Latkar in Kolhapur, and it was a wonderful experience overall. The property lives up to its name – it truly felt like a home away from home. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-maintained, providing a very comfortable and relaxing environment. The overall cleanliness of the place stood out immediately, and it’s clear that the host pays great attention to detail when it comes to upkeep. The host, Amey, was extremely responsive and helpful throughout my stay. Communication was smooth, and he made sure all our needs were promptly taken care of, which added a personal touch to the experience. The property itself is located in a calm and convenient area, making it easy to explore Kolhapur while also enjoying some peace and quiet. The only area of improvement I would suggest is the breakfast. While the efforts of host to arrange the breakfast is appreciated, it could use alot more flavor and variety to enhance the overall stay

We had a wonderful stay! The place is centrally located and within walking distance of everything we needed. It was clean and well-maintained. A sunrise and sunset point is just a 2-minute walk away, making for a perfect start and end to the day. The caretaker was very responsive and helpful. We also enjoyed the tea and breakfast (available at a small extra cost), which was delicious. Highly recommend!

It was a beautiful stay. I stayed with my family and a pet. Had a great and peaceful time. The place is well maintained and well equipped.

Fantastic!! Felt right at home from the moment we arrived at the property. Beautiful place in very good neighbourhood. Lots of birds around who make your mornings really Good with their melodious chirps Hosts are living in the same property at ground floor is an added advantage and they are always there to help. They also have a lovely dog. Lastly the caretaker Ms . Renuka is very helpful and also a wonderful cook.

The stay was quite pleasant. The property was clean and hygienic, with a convenient location close to many popular attractions. Both check-in and check-out were smooth. The highlight of this property is its balcony.

The apartment was so clean, well equipped, located in the heart of the city. There was no disturbance and the internet, power connection was also so nice. We just had the wonderful stay at this place.

We had a really lovely stay here. Place wasas described and clean. The location was close to the highway. Directions were precise. There was a nice lift (I am handicapped) The two misses in the entire experience were: 1 The Parking is super tight and anyone with a large car of not too much experience would have a very hard time manouvering, 2. The premises are vegetarian, this is not a problem but we only realised after we had reached and read the dos and donts list. Overall a very satisfying experience and a place I would be happy to recommend for travellers to Kolhapur.
