The skiing and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international competition venues and Schmiedefeld) are easily accessible by car in 20-30 minutes as well as by public transport.

My family and I live on the sunny outskirts of Waldau, directly in the beautiful Ansbachtal at the foot of the Thuringian Forest. A separate entrance leads you to your area of the house. The bright and newly renovated rooms invite you to relax. The forest is almost at your doorstep. It is only a few minutes by bike to the Ratscher mountain lake. The Goethe city of Ilmenau, the state capital of Erfurt or the Vestestadt of Coburg in neighboring Bavaria are easily accessible by highway.

Old village church

The former village church is located in a 1,600 square meter property in the middle of the village of Erbshausen-Sulzwiesen. Surrounded on all sides, it is an ideal retreat without being "out of this world." In the morning sun in front of the sacristy, on the church wall in the afternoon or in the evening under fruit trees. In the lower tower room on the couch, in the upper tower room – the former bell room – while watching the birds. There is always a nice place.

After I inherited the farm from my grandfather, one thing was clear to me, "this farm is not for sale." Hello, the apartment is located in a place on the north side of the Thuringian Forest. It is ideal for cyclists, hikers and skiers. We have a year-round ski hall for cross-country skiers and those who want to become one, not far from the apartment in the beautiful Oberhof. The apartment is new and modernly furnished. A fully equipped kitchen is available for guests. It has a garage and a seating area on the terrace for cozy sitting in the evening.
