Atli was a great host, the house is lovely, even better as on the pictures, very clean. Leynar is one of the most beautiful places in the Faroe Islands from my perspective and I can definitely recommend Atli as a host to everyone. Dagmar's house in Eiði was lovely. It's centrally located in the village, just opposite the town church. There's a convenient parking spot right out front. The interior was nicely decorated, and the house works well for a single traveler such as myself; it also, however, would work well for larger groups or families, as there are multiple bedrooms. This was a great place to stay while exploring the northern Faroes!

We were incredibly happy with our stay at Jórun's lovely boathouse. It's a calm and beautiful location only a short car ride from everything we wanted to explore. The house has all necessary amenities and more. The shoe dryer turned out to be more helpful than expected and a warm sauna after a day of exploring in the rain was very appreciated.

Great stay. We will be happy to come back.

The view from Steinbjorn’s home is quite possibly the most beautiful vista I have experienced anywhere in the World. They say location is everything, and I don’t believe my experience of the Faroe Islands would have been as good had I stayed anywhere else. The solitude of Elduvík was perfect for my solo mountain biking trip, the pink sunsets at Midnight incredible, and the hot tub after a few hours on the bike the icing on the cake. The lounge and dining room are spacious and well appointed, the kitchen clean and well provisioned. I had the pleasure of meeting Steinbjorn when I arrived at the house. He is a friendly chap and is clearly proud of his home. Communication with him both prior to, and during my trip was superb, lots of recommendations for places to visit, and information regarding the village. Steinbjorn was also very attentive to any queries I had whilst at the house. I could not have hoped for a better experience.

Highly recommend this place! It is peaceful and quiet with amazing views. The house is lovely - just as in the description and pictures - and Gunnar is a great host, very responsive and helpful. We loved the well supplied kitchen and hot tub on the deck. Also loved the wildlife - birds and sheep and, most importantly, newborn lambs - right outside the house! Great location - about midway between the airport and Torshavn and a perfect jumping off point for exploring all the islands. As mentioned, the walk up to the house could be difficult for those unable to walk up a steep grade but is fine for most. It was a perfect place for our week in the Faroe Islands.

The central location in the islands made it an excellent base for exploring. Ragnhard welcomed us in person and gave us a thorough tour of the space. One very useful piece of information was a webcam site that allowed us to track weather across the islands, which was really important and helped guide us to which islands to explore and avoid some rain. There are few restaurant options nearby, but the Thai place within walking distance was very good, and the bakery in nearby Skala is worth a stop. The views from the apartment are absolutely amazing, and it was very peaceful and quiet. The space was very clean and well equipped. It was great to be able to do laundry while we were there. It was a really nice space to come 'home' to after a day of hiking and exploring. While we didn't have to take him up on it, Ragnhard was willing to let us check out a little late so we could get one last hike in. We highly recommend Ragnhard's home.

Apartment has all the comforts and very spacious. The location is very convenient if you want to visit the Faroe Islands. Close to the cozy center of Tórshavn. The host was nice to deal with and was very flexible with a late check-out (our boat did not leave until the evening). Bed is on the narrow side for two people, but comfortable!

One of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in. The space was incredibly spacious and thoughtfully equipped with nearly every comfort of home. The hosts' attention to detail was outstanding, and their warm welcome made us feel immediately at ease. When we accidentally left something behind, they went out of their way to return it—such lovely, considerate people. The accommodation itself was excellent, with just a short walk to nearby parking.

Three of us greatly enjoyed our stay in Hoyvík. The apartment was perfect and made a great base for exploring the Islands. If you want to visit Torshavn I would consider the bus as parking can be problematic during the day. However parking at the apartment was straightforward. The local eateries are also recommended.

I had a terrific stay in Elisabeth's apartment; it is really cosy and well arranged. I enjoyed the peaceful neighbourhood and slept like a baby. It's conveniently located close to a hidden gem: Viðarlundin park, which is great for a walk.

The accommodation at Nancy and Karl Oddmar's was an absolute stroke of luck! The apartment was lovingly prepared for us (with high chair, baby bath and bath toys for the children), super clean and tidy, at the same time incredibly cozy. The view is magnificent, we enjoyed the small bay every evening and could watch whales, dolphins and seals there. Due to car damage, we were traveling by bus almost all the time, which was also possible from the accommodation without any problems. Nancy and Karl Oddmar were also immediately helpful here and supported us in the workshop search. A special highlight for our older son were the chickens, which he visited several times a day, and all the other animals of the neighbors.

Stayed at this house for several nights, and it was exactly as described. Holger and Sylvia provided many brochures and suggestions regarding things to do in the area, and we're very quick to respond to messages. The house is spacious and was very clean.

A nice cosy place for a stay on the Faroe Islands. Everything was clean, we slept well and all as advertised. Nicolina sent us information about things to do and kept us informed before arrival for entry instructions. Great views as well. We had a great stay.

We had a great stay in Anna-Maria's apartment. The apartment is very nice and we felt very comfortable. The location is great, close to the beach and the city center of Tórshavn is quickly accessible. Anna-Maria and her husband are really nice and always helpful. Absolute recommendation! The apartment is brand new and in a great location. I drove but was able to park my car at the property and easily walk anywhere in town that I wanted to. It was also a great base for exploring other parts of the Faroe Islands, and I didn't have to drive far to reach amazing places like Saksun or Tjørnuvík. The apartment is really nice, and the views over the town and Nólsoy Island are surreal. It has a well-designed layout and a fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities I needed for my stay. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience. The combination of comfort, stunning views, and convenience made my trip truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking to explore the Faroe Islands.

Beautiful view, very nice host. Apartment is cosy and have everything you need. Close to the two markets, bar and very good fish and chips. It is good place to visit different part of Faroe Island.

The house is off the street, the street is able to park for an hour, convenient for loading and unloading luggage, the parking lot on the side of the gas station across the street is free, and the ferry terminal is a little further, it is convenient. The room is tidy and spacious, and the utensils and condiments in the kitchen are abundant. The host's instructions and instructions were clear, detailed, everything was fine, recommended the choice.
