Karoo Country Style Guest suite

We would love you to stay in our Country Style guest suite, which is situated in a large leafy garden with a swimming pool, which guests are welcome to relax in and use. Secure parking is available on property. Our property has an inverter, which makes loadshedding less of a problem. The guest suit is attached to the main house but not shared with the main house. It has its own outdoor entrance and covered living area, so privacy is ensured. The light and airy rooms are decorated with love.

Joel's Off Grid Cottage in the Klein Karoo

Off grid permaculture farm stay in the Klein Karoo tucked away on the Groot Swartberg mountains. Our water is gravity fed from a spring in the mountains and is alive and free of harmful chemicals and contaminants. We have 15 Km of hiking trails and the most beautiful pristine waterfalls. The cottage is fully equipped with two bedrooms, the main bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with two single beds or doubles up as one king size bed. An outside bathing area is real treat to use.

This lovingly restored cottage, built in 1878, is nestled on the Coetzee family’s 4th generation working ostrich farm in the small Karoo valley of Kandelaarsrivier. Huis Kandelabra is just outside Oudtshoorn on the main route to Mossel Bay. The surroundings of Karoo koppies, the Kandelaars River, neighbouring farmlands, ostrich camps and views of the Swartberg and Outeniqua Mountain Ranges all add to this stylish, yet quaint cottage’s unmistakable charm.
