Vacation rentals in Kitries

Wij zijn overtroffen in onze verwachtingen. Wat een plek! Midden in de natuur, met een magnifiek uitzicht, een fijn eenvoudig restaurantje op loopafstand en volop wandelmogelijkheden, strandjes en leuke plaatsjes in de buurt zoals Kardamili. Het appartement voorziet in alles. Wij hadden het geluk dat er net een nieuwe airco was geplaatst in de slaapkamer. We hebben ondanks de hitte heerlijk kunnen slapen. En tot slot misschien wel het belangrijkste: Diamanto is een geweldige gastvrouw! We kwamen aan en er stond ontbijt voor de volgende dag, zoete lekkernijen en biertjes. Als we vragen hadden, reageerde ze direct maar verder liet zo ons helemaal met rust. Dankjewel voor de heerlijke dagen Diamanto. We komen zeker terug om in de bergen te wandelen als het wat minder warm is. ☺️

Superbe maison sur deux étages. Possibilité d’accueillir deux familles. Vue magnifique. Accès à la plage à pieds en trois minutes. Petites plages à droite et à gauche sympathiques. Et au milieu, trois restaurants très bons! On y a passé une semaine de rêve!

Εξαιρετική εμπειρια, πολύ εξυπηρετικοί και φιλικοί. Το σπίτι βρίσκεται σε ένα ήρεμο ορεινό χωριό το οποίο έχει ότι χρειάζεσαι γύρω σου (φαρμακείο, ταβέρνες, σούπερ μάρκετ, φούρνος κλπ). Ήταν πεντακάθαρο και περιποίημενο. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα.

Το σπίτι ήταν εξαιρετικό.Ήταν ακριβώς όπως ήταν στις φωτογραφίες και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο.Η αυλή του ανεκτίμητη,ειδικά για παιδιά.Το χωριό πολύ όμορφο και ήσυχο.Αν πρέπει μόνο να σημειώσω κάτι ήταν οτι ενώ στις παροχές υπήρχε το τζάκι,δεν υπήρχαν ξύλα.Ο Νίκος ήταν άμεσα διαθέσιμος και μας έδωσε όλες τις πληροφορίες που χρειαζόμασταν.

Ein gut ausgestattetes Appartement in einer ruhigen Umgebung mit einem spektakulären Ausblick. Vor und hinter dem Haus Olivenhain. Schöne Sonnenuntergänge, freundlicher Vermieter. Us hat es an nichts gefehlt. Das Haus liegt fast in einer Alleinlage oben am Hang. Kiesstrand in der Nähe.

Ivanka, her husband and sister in law Nancy are great hosts. We spent 9 weeks in their lovely vacation house. They were always responsive and helpful. We had a chance to live there during heat waves as well as during november rainy days. Stone build does its job for keeping interior cool and heating is powerful to keep one worm in cold days. The Mani-style house is located in an impasse detached from a main road which adds to the feeling of privacy. There is enough parking space. Sea coast is within walking distance. We also uses our bikes quite often. Altough the hill is rather steep. Autumn months are ideal for quiet relax with empty beaches. We recommend Ivanka’s place.

Nikki (& her husband), whose family live above the property, was very welcoming and helpful in explaining the amenities of the apartment and where the local beaches were up 100 metres across the road either side of the property. The apartment was immaculately clean, had new amenities, with a comfortable main bed (with additional sofa & camp bed in the storage room) - Nikki's ground level apartment was so much more than expected. The apartment was extremely quiet even with being on the main road. I would stay again in a heart beat when I visit Kalamata again. Very secure, very quiet, excellent amenities, off street parking - a perfect place to stay for a weekend or a week!

We couldn't have been happier or better looked after by Nasos and his family. He is the perfect gentleman & host, providing various foods and wine to get us started. The house has easy access with gated private parking (for several cars). There are great local restaurants (most notably Vrahos Cuisine, a 3-minute walk from the house), and it's close enough to Kalamata to access shops for anything you might need (there is a shop & pharmacy nearby). The house feels modern and is built with quality materials. It is secluded, with spiral stair access to an almost private beach. Just off the bedroom patio are lemons, mandarins, and loquats that we mixed with local yoghurt for breakfast every day. The sea is perfectly clear, and we enjoyed a pattern of it being perfectly still in the mornings and getting livelier in the afternoons. There are a few lovely rock pools that you can swim into, perfect for snorkelling. In all, an ideal getaway, and we'd like to thank Nasos for making it all easy.
