Excellent room, the kitchen is super clean and easy to use. The people are friendly and have great recommendations for things to do in the neighborhood. The showers, the room, and the neighborhood are all clean and welcoming. would come back for sure

This place is just perfect for a trip away from Kyoto! The hostel is so tidy and clean and comfy. We received an immediate message upon booking to confirm our plans with check-in details. The staff were very sweet, helpful, and friendly and this was an excellent location in a quieter part of the city – across the river and away from the crowds and perfect to still get to be in Arashiyama. The hostel is walkable to the onsen and provides a couple for a discount for entry!

非常好的房間，整潔乾淨，房主非常熱情。 交通便利，離車站很近，附近的居酒屋也很好吃。 It's a nice room that very clean. Sayako is very kind and nice that you can be easy to tell her whatever or whenever you need help. The room is near the MRT station and very easy to go anywhere. Also, the Japanese bar near the room is very delicious and stunning. It's called Ichiban.

Mir hat das Hostel von Essam sehr gut gefallen, die Lage war optimal (Zug und Bus mit Fuß sehr gut zu erreichen). Auch ein gutes Ramen Restaurant sowie viele 7/11 sowie Family Marts waren in der Nähe. Zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten braucht man ein bisschen aber das ist mit den Bus und Zugverbindungen gut machbar. Duschen sowie Toiletten waren immer sauber. Gemeinschaftsräume sowie die Küche genauso. Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich konnte viele neue Leute kennenlernen und bin dafür auch sehr dankbar. Würd immer wieder herkommen! Danke nochmal!

This is a hostel but not like any hostel in USA. So clean, private, safe, and comfortable. Wang greeted us and made wonderful recommendations so we went to he Monkey Park (WOW) amazing views in their habitat and views, then Hot Springs and Bamboo forest all within walking distance. Ate and drank and local places recommended that we would never have found. Next day - took Uber to Golden Temple. Such a short stay but did so much. Thank you Mulan and Wang! Highly recommend.

Die (leider nur sehr kurze) Zeit bei Yusuke und Mariko war sehr, sehr schön! Wir haben uns direkt zuhause gefühlt, es hat gut gerochen und man merkt, dass sie viel Energie und Herz in das Haus gesteckt haben. Yusuke hat uns außerdem viele tolle Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Das Viertel ist gemütlich und deutlich angenehmer als die Stadtmitte. Fahrräder kann man ebenfalls leihen, was in Kyoto viel Spaß macht. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Had a great stay here. Everything is clean and everything was as described. I will stay here again the next time I visit Kyoto. highly recommended!

Emiko et sa famille sont adorables, bienveillants, à l’écoute, plein de bons conseils et astuces. La chambre est bien agencée et tout confort. Ce fut un réel plaisir de résider chez eux.

Un environnement reposant, un accueil chaleureux, et une belle bâtisse en bois. Que demander de plus, il y’a un café au rez-de-chaussée qui après sa fermeture vous sert d’espace commun. Cela vaut la peine d’y rester 1 semaine ce lieu vous recharge réellement.

Nous avons adorés cet endroit. A l'étage les murs sont très très fin. Il faut se déplacer comme des chats. Les voix doivent être très basses. L'espace coworking est très beau. Un endroit ideal pour travailler. Il y avait surtout des japonais dans cet hotel. Merci à Unknown Kyoto d'être ce si joli hôtel.

J'ai beaucoup aimé rester chez Gojo pour mon séjour à Kyoto. l'emplacement était très pratique & la chambre était très confortable. Le café et le personnel était super sympa.

Great location-5minute walk from Kyoto station. Multiple Convenience stores around the corner

位于京都安静的西阵地区，步行十分钟内有许多公交车站，出行非常便利。住宿内洗浴设施、烹饪设施、洗衣设施等等都十分齐全！房东也非常热情！总的来说，十分推荐❤️

感觉很合适一个人出行啊哈哈哈 床也非常舒适就是有点咯吱咯吱响 不过总体来说非常方便的！

寝室はもちろんキッチンやシャワー、トイレも大変清潔に保たれていました。共有スペースにコーヒー等あるのも落ち着けてうれしかったです。室内スリッパ、ドライヤーも完備され至れり尽くせり。ぜひまたお願いしたいです。

Great place for solo travelers. The other guests were also very respectful. The location is also very peaceful for a nice evening stroll

遅い時間のセルフチェックインでしたが、案内がわかりやすくスムーズに入室できました。夜遅くに到着し朝早く出発したためスタッフの方とはお会いしませんでしたが、困ることは一切ありませんでした。それは、シンプルかつ的確な案内文と、使いやすく整った館内設備のおかげだと思います。細部にまで配慮が感じられ、素晴らしい経営だと感じました。 沢山の人が出入りするゲストハウスは靴や私物が散らかっている施設が多い中、こちらは整理整頓できる仕組みがしっかり整っていました。 個人に与えられた専用スリッパに履き替えるシステムも清潔感があり、とても好印象でした。さらに、近隣には朝早くから営業しているパン屋さんもあり、朝食にも困らず快適に過ごせました。 またぜひ利用したいと思います。ありがとうございました！

Really friendly host and comfy bed. Maybe bring earplugs though cause the beds make sound if you're below someone stirring around it's hard to sleep.Also some rude people banging on the stairs and playing their videos out loud but that's not the Airbnb fault. I just was too shy to tell them to be quiet haha

체크인시간보다 2시간이나 일찍 도착했습니다. 마침 마사님이 다른 고객을 응대하고 계셨는데 친절하게 미리 안내해주셔서 너무 감사했습니다. 도보 6분거리의 온천은 4박5일 머무르는 동안 매일 이용했습니다. 조용한 마을 전체를 그리고 대부분의 장소들을 도보로 이동했고 하루 2만보 이상 걷고 또 걸었습니다. 숙소의 전체적인 분위기는 낮에는 조용한 음악이 BGM 으로 흐르고 나무향의 전반적인 향기가 좋았습니다. 가성비 좋은 숙소에 4박을 하는동안 불편했던점은 없었습니다. 다만 밤에는 다소 춥게 느껴질 정도로 에어컨 바람은 시원했습니다. 친절한 호스트 마사님 덕분에 아주 좋은 경험 할 수 있었습니다. 가을에 또 방문예정입니다.

Shared room w 5 others, expect some noise for people moving about while asleep. Some people may enter and exit and may interrupt sleep. That said, it is an excellent place for sleeping in and resting throughout the day since they have a quiet bottom floor where people work and do things. Fridge is there too for you to keep some food. There is a *** water*** dispenser so you don't have to purchase water.
