Nelson was an amazing host ! He was very nice and welcoming. He gave us a great piece of advice regarding Kisamuand his cool spots: The room was clean and cosy in a comfy apartment located in a nice neighborhood (10 minutes away from the city center by matatu, tuktuk or Boda). So, we do warmly recommend this place !

Abela Suite provided the ample and hospitable experience that we desired. The place is quiet, peaceful, clean, and organized. Emmanuel is an amazing host. He let us check in earlier than the check in time and he responded to all our calls and needs in a timely manner. Maureen, the caretaker, is also amazing. She checked on us regularly to see if we needed any cleaning done or if we just needed help with anything. Emmanuel's place is the place to call home whenever we are visiting Kisumu. I recommend this place for anyone who needs extra security, clean, hospitable, and a peaceful place to stay.

I was happy with my stay and the receptionist was really kind and checked on me every day. My room was clean but for sure is a normal standard room so dont expect a fancy place (toilet dived from my bed with a curtain). Next day she asked me if i wanted a bigger room for same price but I kept it because it was really clean. It was 15/20 mins from the city centre but around is full of tuk tuks (around 70 ksh) and boda boda (around 100-150 ksh). Near a supermarket and some shops. I reserved it late and they where super efficient. Highly recommended. Thank you

Twiga gets my highest recommendation, if you are visiting Kisumu as a lone traveller or with family and friends then Twiga is the perfect place to stay. Linda is a marvellous host, very knowledgeable and willing to assist with a quick response time to any questions. The rooms are very spacious and sparkling clean. There is food available all day. The location is great. There is a shop at the end of the road and you are just a short walk into the town centre. Twiga Staff, from the front desk to the kitchen, are extremely friendly and professional. I’ll definitely be back again.
