Apartment vacation rentals in Kingsport

I hate to write a great review for fear of other people finding out about Barry's place, especially on the weekend I may need for the future. This is my 2nd year staying at Barry and Shani's location. As soon as I registered this year's Dam Yeti race I immediately put in the reservation. Barry recognized me by asking if I was in town for another race! We had messaged back and forth a couple times prior to check in as I wasn't sure if my friend was coming along (she did!). The apartment is one of three in the same building. It's cute, quiet and well appointed. He set up a coffee bar for us and left ample snacks plus some additional ones which were perfect for race day. He had a lovely note for me and mentioned there was fresh watermelon in the fridge!!! What a delish treat. we were close enough to town but needed a car to drive. Everything was 5ish mins away. great restaurants are in town, close to the Food City. one of the best Hosts!!! EVER!!

Regie’s place was a great Airbnb to stay at we were in town visiting my wife’s mom for a week it accommodated myself and my family very well. It was secluded, which made it very peaceful and comfortable. The decor was very cute and funny. We felt right at home. We had very minor issues, and we were contacted right away to accommodate our needs! Will definitely love to stay again.

My only complaint is that the neighbors were a little noisy and I work night shift so had to sleep during the day.

I really enjoyed my stay at Pam’s place. It was well lit at night and I felt very safe. The neighborhood was quiet. The apartment is perfect for one or two people. Very clean and comfortable. The bed was very nice. I slept like a baby. Pam is a wonderful host, checking in with me to see if I needed anything after my arrival. I will definitely be booking her place again when I come to visit Bristol.

it was a cozy little studio apartment. it was walkable to downtown activities. it was quiet.

I booked a stay at Carrol's place while I was in TN looking for a place to live, and it was hands down the best rental experience I've ever had. She is so kind and hospitable, and it was wonderful getting to know her and her furry friends! The apartment is very cozy, was super clean, and has everything you need including a full kitchen. Very peaceful surroundings and you can see the mountains from the driveway! I sadly had to cut my trip short, but would 1100% stay again if I'm back in the area. Thank you Carrol!

Lisa’s place was very clean, comfortable and tidy. Nice close location to the trails that we were hiking and a respite for tired feet. We appreciated the laundry detergent and eager and dryer available and bottled water in the fridge.

Beautiful apartment, very clean and comfortable. Especially loved the back patio space with overhang. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Keith's Red Door Cottage was just what I needed during my visit to Johnson City. It was extremely comfortable and clean. The quiet and comfortable bed made my slumbers absolute. Thanks for making me feel so welcome.

Great stay with amazing hosts! The space was cozy, spacious, and had everything we needed. Brian and Cyndee were fantastic hosts—super helpful and communicative. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable place with excellent hospitality!

Quiet neighborhood, nice fenced yard for our little dog. Accommodations were quaint and comfortable. Close enough to Banner Elk, Boone and Roan Mountain to be convenient but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. I will definitely stay here again if traveling to the area.

Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming - she truly saved us from the literal Airbnb commercial scenario of a terrible hotel room and came through with the perfect last-minute stay. The space was clean, comfortable, and in a great location - ideal for ETSU orientation, but also super convenient for exploring downtown Johnson City. We’re so grateful and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful building. Close to places to eat. River walk right out front.

Honestly I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. The apartment is stunning, comfortable, close to all the downtown shops and not one single detail was forgotten. Everything was over and above even to the extent that there are little lights in the doggie rooms. I love it! I will definitely stay here again next time Im in the area.

I surprised my wife with a weekend birthday trip to the mountains. Sherries place was perfect. It was beautiful and spacious. It’s close to everything but you still feel secluded. We enjoyed it very much and really like to use it again in the near future.

Absolutely perfect spot for a ski getaway. We had a blast at Beech Mtn and loved being able to snuggle up next to a real fire after a wonderful day of skiing

Booked last minute after a death in the family. Was perfect for our needs as three siblings needing to stay together. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and couches. Location is convenient to North JC. Would stay again!

We always enjoy staying here! It’s our go-to place on Beech Mountain. Super-comfortable beds. We love sitting on the balcony and watching the deer while we have coffee in the morning. Michelle is a gracious host and an excellent communicator. Thanks again for another great stay!

We had a great weekend stay in Roxana’s apartment. It was a comfortable place for relaxing and working, and a great home base while enjoying the bike park and local hiking. In the evenings we enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and hot tub. The apartment is clean and comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Exceeded our expectations, we would def stay again! James greeted us upon arrival to show us around the suite & how everything worked from the hot tub to the coffee maker & the electric remote wall fireplace in the bedroom. Loved the way the suite was decorated, so warm & inviting. James also offered wonderful dining suggestions & local places to shop. We enjoyed time around the fire pit next to a beautiful stone fountain on the patio in the mornings before leaving for the day. We did the partial Virginia Creeper Trail bike ride & highly recommend that too!

Paul and Hannah’s place (multi townhouse-complex) is located high on Sugar Mountain and is visible from many sites around the area. The place was clean and we used the kitchen a lot. If you need to store extra food after cooking, bring your own containers with lids. It does have “bare minimum supplies” as stated in the description. For example: 5 k-cups, a few creamers, and sugar. Having a washer and dryer is a plus! The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. Parking was plentiful at this time. Water pressure is very low, but no fault of theirs. Beds were comfortable. You need to catch the sunrise and sunset as they are remarkable!! 😊 We would stay here again if we returned to North Carolina! Sue K
