Home Charms Guest Accomodation

DarrenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a great place to stay. You can enjoy the scenery and quietness of the countryside whilst being only a few minutes away from all the amenities of Carlow town. There is lots of open space in the grounds for the children to run around and play safely. Carlow is a really handy location for exploring the South East of Ireland so we were able to visit nearby places such as Kilkenny and Wexford without any hassle. I was working in Dublin on one of the days of our stay - it was only an hour away, cost €17 return and the train service was very efficient. Cleo & her family were friendly, helpful and welcoming hosts. “Freddy” (the friendly dog) was an additional bonus and loves to meet his guests! I would definitely recommend!

Ballymaconey House Bed and Breakfast

HannaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I came for just one night, wet and slightly muddy from a tour up in the mountains. And what did I find? A beautiful house, clean, picturesque, homely, a nice hot shower and a very friendly and forthcoming Ann, who gave me time to settle down, but was always there for a talk, offering tea and advice about what to see next day. Breakfast next morning was marvellously delicious, with fruit (i.e. strawberries!), muesli, yoghurt, homemade breads, spreads, and also porridge and sausages, if one liked. There really was nothing to be wished for, except a longer stay...

Charming 2 Bedroom Cottage

AlisiaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed in Rita’s Airbnb as we had a wedding close by. This was hands down the nicest place we’ve ever stayed in. Rita was incredibly welcoming, loveliest woman we’ve ever met with Airbnb. welcomed us from the minute we walked in the door. It had loads of amenities including really nice coffee, strawberries, cream and scones as well as brown bread that we absolutely demolished the house was clean tidy spacious & the bed was really comfy. Felt literally like a home from home. She helped with anything we needed and provided taxi numbers. There’s not enough words available in this review to explain the incredible host she is. Go raibh maith agat❤️

Abigail's welcoming home

A lovely home in a lovely rural area, but within easy driving distance of great things to do, see and eat. Excellent just, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Only negative is that we couldn’t stay longer. Excellent.

Superb home in horsey countryside.

Geraldine and Paul are absolutely some of the most delightful airbnb hosts. This listing was clean, upscale, and an incredible value. Both hosts are very friendly, Geraldine is responsive to messaging, and they maintain a lovely room, crystal clean bathroom, and other spaces. This stay is a little far from most areas you'd likely visit during a trip to Ireland, but as a comfortable intermediate destination that feels like home, you'd be hard pressed to do better for the price point. Looking forward to saying hello again next trip back to Ireland!
