Monthly Rentals in Kilauea

We absolutely adored our stay at Lee's stunning cottage. It was a little slice of paradise, and every day we fell asleep and woke up to the sweet sound of birds singing around us. It was also the perfect home base to launch out from and explore various parts of the island. Lee was also extremely kind and shared some delicious greens from their farm with us. We're so grateful and are already scheming on when we can come back here!

This is a great place to stay on Kauai. Great location with the option to get a rental car from host. The Studio was spacious, clean and comfortable. Surrounded by a lot of nature and their beautiful farm, it felt very private but it was close to beautiful Kilauea with lots of restaurants and shopping options. Many beautiful beaches within a short driving distance. We can highly recommend this place!!!

This home is a Tiki lovers dream! The pictures do NOT do the decor and the structure justice. Antique Hawaiian lamps, pics and other unique decor throughout the home. The vaulted ceilings with wooden beams and bamboo floors are lovely. Each wall in the home has louvered glass windows for a cool breeze in the evening. The poster bed in the master bedroom is very comfy. When it rains on the metal roof it is magic! The yard is beautiful, especially the planters in front that are also miniature fish ponds. A well stocked kitchen and mini bar for entertaining. The view from the loft is amazing! You can see the mountains. We spent a bit of time hanging on the railing and staring out the window. Note: The only downside….The neighbors dogs are an issue with the thin glass louvered walls of this home-not the owners fault! All dog alert hours are evening, into the night and early am hours, 15-40 minutes at a time. If barking dogs bother you, there are ear plugs. ;)

We really enjoyed our stay at this house as a family of four. The property is beautiful, peaceful, private, and quiet. The house is full of rustic charm, unique furnishings, and colorful art. The location is perfect for exploring the North Shore. We loved the easy access to Kalihiwai and Kauapea beaches. Judy was a very helpful and responsive host. We appreciated that she had the lights on for us when we arrived late at night. The North Shore of Kauai is a special place and staying here made for a wonderful holiday. We’d definitely stay here again!
