Thanh and his wife host a fantastic homestay! Thanh is a super fast person to get in touch with, and offers various recommendations for the local area. He can also arrange bus tickets to pick you up from the place as well. The place is very clean, AC is great, and the WiFi is also fast. Side note, can’t tell from the photos but the rooms also come with a mini fridge and large plug-in fan. All in all, wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if back in Ninh Binh.

We loved our stay at the bamboo homestay. The hosts were very welcoming and we felt right at home. We even decided to stay an extra night! They have a restaurant attached and the food was delicious. They helped us book our transportation and gave us local recommendations. On our last day they let us use the bicycles and use a bathroom to shower without an extra fee. Very generous people! We loved it so much!

We had a wonderful stay at Văn’s Homestay. She was so helpful and welcoming, made us lunch when we arrived, organised moto rental, and we were able to do a late check out. The food was delicious and the service was great. Swimming pool was a welcome treat after climbing the 500 steps to the Hang Mua Pagoda. Our room was spacious and very comfortable and bathroom equally so with lots of hot water and very well designed. Just beautiful. We were able to enjoy the tropical downpour from our balcony and slept to the wonderful sound of tropical rain on the roof. We just loved it!
