Tridiva - A Himalayan Homestay

KushaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Tridiva truly feels like home, thanks to Meeta, Pradeep Bhaiya, and their adorable dog Oak. From the moment we arrived and were welcomed with refreshing nimbu pani, we felt the warmth of the place. Meeta is the soul of Tridiva. Her home is filled with thoughtful touches, love, and care. Every morning, I looked forward to chatting with her over tea—something that usually only happens with family. Her values, kindness, and efforts to protect nature (like preventing forest fires and reducing plastic use) are deeply inspiring. Spending time with her was a reminder of how beautiful genuine human connection can be. Huge thanks to Pradeep Bhaiya for the delicious meals—each one different, homely, and perfectly made. His aloo parathas and Pahari dal are a must-try! And then there’s Oak, the in-house dog, who helped me overcome a lifelong fear of dogs. He was my first petting experience and made a big impact. Tridiva isn’t just a stay—it’s an experience.

Kalpataru1 - stay in hills

LalmaniRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Its a perfect place to spend some time in the mountains…the homestay is neat and clean and has everything that may be needed for a stay. The caretaker Taraji cooks delicious food and made us a delightful dinner upon request. It has a fully functional kitchen. Wifi is good and you can work if required. The balcony has awesome views. In short a highly recommended stop if you are in the region. We will love to come back again sometime.

Cob House in Himalayan Orchard 2

SriwantiRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The place is exactly as it is described, quiet, peaceful and surrounded by greenery all around. There were nice walking trails which we thoroughly enjoyed hiking along and a nice deck to sit and watch the mountains. The food was delicious and freshly prepared and we loved it. We had our pets with us and they loved the place too. Want to mention specifically about the mud houses - what a great sustainable way to embrace the mountains without disrupting the ecological balance. The property uses rainwater harvesting and a big thumbs up for that too. Would highly recommend to all. A must visit and a great place to just unwind.

Stay in Eco Mud Haven

AyushiRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
A little piece of heaven in Sitla! Maati Living is more than just a mud house—it’s an experience. Nestled in the beauty of Sitla, this place radiates peace, warmth, art and magic. The hosts treat you like family, always ready to help with a smile. The entire team is just as wonderful, like a family you didn’t know you needed. The food? Absolutely soul-satisfying. The vibe? Unmatched. If you’re looking for a place to reconnect—with nature, with yourself—this is it. A must-visit gem in the hills!

Kintsugi @ Aikkya

SupriyaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We spent 3 days including New Year's Eve at Aikkya. Their place is ideally located with great views, peace and quiet. Our room was simply yet beautifully decorated and was very clean. We liked the fact that their cottages are built with local building techniques, are sustainable and still have the modern amenities and comforts. We especially loved the common lounge/dining area with it's wood burning stove. It's the ideal place to chill, get to meet the other guests, eat and drink. Shivani and Avijeet go to great lengths to cater to the tastes of each of their guests, cooking different cuisines and offering variety. We had some delicious meals and got to taste an authentic Kumaoni spread. At the end of our stay, we left knowing that we will be back.

A lovely stay. Felt like home in the hills. Food prepared by Jeevan was excellent. A great way to relax with music, we being Hindustani Classical musicians playing sitar music. What an awesome view. Too bad the season was not right for viewing the snow capped peaks. Will come back again to do just that ! Thanks Purnita !
