Deck + Fire Pit: Waterfront Lake Michigan Escape

JadeRating, 5 stars10 months ago
This place was very lovely! Went with my family of 10, felt like a wonderful getaway. The lake is absolutely beautiful (it is a little difficult to get to, lots of stairs and rocks). But nothing beats the view of the lake in the morning with the sun glistening on the water. All the beds were very comfortable. Although there wasn't any AC, we were lucky it was a cool weekend so that wasn't too much of an issue for us. If you want some time to relax and bbq all weekend, this was the perfect place to do it at! I also loved the garden surrounding the house. Beautiful work!

My stay with Joe was great! Very nice to have a clean, quiet, honey place to come home to after a long day of work. Will be returning for sure if I am in town again.
A red brick church with a tall spire stands prominently beside a single-story brick house featuring a brown roof. A manicured lawn extends in front, and a driveway leads to the house. Soft blue skies with scattered clouds frame the scene.

Kathy was a fantastic host. She was thoughtful and responsive, very easy to communicate with. This was the perfect location to visit Green Bay but still be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The place was welcoming, easy to get to and had plenty of room. Highly recommend staying there!

Lakeside a'Lure -Best Catch in Algoma/Door County

MindyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We stayed here for a girls weekend away from Milwaukee. It is a 1 minute walk to Von Steihl Winery as well as all the other cute shops, restaurants and bars that make up Algoma. Everyone we met was so kind and generous to us all. Will definitely be back again. House was spotlessly clean. Plenty of spaces to sleep and the kitchen was stocked nicely with all the necessary pots, pans, dishes, etc.
