Minch view.

Fabulous location, views to die for. House was big, very well equipped and comfortable. Although it doesn't say it in the amenities there are 2 bathrooms, 1 has a shower and very large bath & the other is an ensuite shower room off the king-sized bedroom. I almost didn't book this accommodation because we needed 2 bathrooms and it was only by reading reviews that I realised there are 2. The pictures do not do the house and views justice, beautiful ever changing views from lounge, which we actually never used, conservatory & balcony. Although it states garden is dog proof it isn't if you have a smaller dog. We had a Cairn Terrier & a Westiepoo with us and they easily got through the fence and gate, there were sheep & lambs in the adjacent field, lambs came to visit through the fence, so dogs had to have leashes on while out and no gate from balcony so we had to block this off too. There are so many stunningly beautiful beaches for dogs to run about on though so they were fine

Extremely comfortable and well equipped house. We used it as a base to explore explore island and catch up with another couple so we self catered and house was ideal for this. Lovely view over the loch, particularly at sunset. Anne also communicated quickly and clearly.

Airigh nam Fiadh

We had a truly wonderful stay at Ann’s place—five stars all around! Ann went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even making sure the couch bed was all set up for our two children since we were arriving later in the evening. We were especially touched by the thoughtful welcome provisions—fresh local meats, breads, desserts and milk—all absolutely delicious. Both the main bed and the couch bed were incredibly comfortable, with warm, cozy linens that made us feel right at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals, and clean-up was quick and easy. Instructions for using the house and checking in and out were clear and straightforward, making the whole experience stress-free. Ann was extremely accommodating, and the little cabin is perched higher up in a peaceful, scenic spot surrounded by lovely pastures. The kids and I especially enjoyed watching the sheep in the nearby fields. We highly recommend staying here and would love to come back!
A cozy living area is highlighted by a teal sofa adorned with patterned cushions. A wooden beam stretches across the ceiling, enhancing the space. A bright bouquet of yellow flowers rests on a white cabinet, while a lantern pendant light adds warmth to the ambiance.

Taigh Chalum, Achmore, Isle of Lewis

Lovely welcome pack of a complete G&T kit. Easy to find the location with Christine's instructions, to be honest as soon as you turn a bend on the main road you see the cottage standing proud on the hill. We had excellent communication and the recommendations for places to visit and eat are perfect. Crusts Pizza van is minutes from the location order online and collect its amazing, quality food and service. The peace around the cottage is beautiful especially first thing in the morning with the mist over the many lochs in the valley and the deer wandering around. The log burner on a wet and windy day is perfect to sit at the high top table and watch the weather pass by. Uig Sands at 6.30am was deserted, the campers still asleep, the whole beach to ourselves. The drive to Harris is beautiful with a road ascent that's quite exposed in places. Harris distillery worth visiting. On the whole perfect accommodation in the perfect place close to everywhere to visit with a feeling of remoteness

The view was absolutely breathtaking and exactly as shown in the pictures. The bed was large and comfortable, with a spacious duvet that made it feel even cozier. We made use of the fireplace, but the room was warm enough even without it. Cooking outdoors was a great experience and turned out really well. The hosts were always available and communicative, which made planning smooth for both sides. They warmly welcomed every guest, making us feel right at home.

A vast sandy beach stretches toward the horizon, with gentle waves lapping at the shoreline. Soft, rippled patterns in the sand create a tranquil scene. In the distance, small figures are seen walking along the water's edge, with a mountainous landscape forming a backdrop beneath a partly cloudy sky.

Calum’s croft is charming and quaint and we found it to be the perfect mix between modern and original. The views were incredible from every window and it was incredibly peaceful. Every detail has been considered and provided for. Calum was an exceptional host and was very proactive with his communication. We encountered some ferry issues and he was very accommodating and reassuring. The record player was a fun touch to have while we enjoyed a fire. We would have loved to know more about Calum’s grandfather and the working croft but we did really enjoy the old photos in the library. If the stars align, we would absolutely love to come back!
