This was our second stay at this property and it never disappoints! Love the scenery, saw lots of wild life and the ponies are so cute! This is our go to place to stay when visiting Fredrickburg.

Absolutely brilliant! Fantastic hosts, especially Brett who showed us around the ranch and allowed us to feed the animals. Great breakfast too, couldn’t recommend this place more. Wild deer and a quiet spot 10 minutes out of town. This is your sign to book it.

This was the perfect stay for two couples. Quiet and cozy - about 10 minutes to town. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome location if you want to visit Fredericksburg but be out of the city !!! Super cute farm vibes with ponies and cows!!!!! So peaceful at night while in the hot tub and watching the stars. Will be coming back again !!!!!

We had an amazing time at this house in Kerrville. The photographs of this house just don’t do it justice - It’s even better in person. The location is 10 minutes max from town and has the most lovely views from the backyard. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals from scratch- probably the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in a vacation rental. The beds are very comfortable. The living space was roomy and had such interesting artwork. The back porch was a delight to sit out on any time of day. The pool was a little chilly the weekend we were there but that’s just because a big storm system had gone through the night before. We still had a fun afternoon in the pool. If you are not there in the height of summer and want to swim, you might want to consider paying to heat the pool- but remember that you need to do that in advance. We would highly recommend this rental home and hope to return.

Beautiful peaceful place to stay, loved the jacuzzi tub and the bed was very comfortable. The fire pit was a perfect touch for the clear nights to see the full moon and the stars. We loved our stay!! We will definitely be back.

My family had a delightful time at the Cottage on Bear Creek. It was quiet, peaceful, and had beautiful view. Lots of wildlife to see. The cottage was well designed, clean, and exactly as described. The hosts were friendly and responded immediately to my questions and requests.

Excellent place for a large extended family of 10 to come together for there annual get away. We had plenty of space without anyone feeling like we were tripping over each other. That is so important with teens and preteens. Thank you again for opening your family home to us. It was just what we needed.

Sovereignty Ranch is awesome! We’ve stayed there multiple times and always enjoy it. Molly and the whole team are so friendly and welcoming. Love visiting all the animals. The restaurant they have onsite is delicious. We’ll definitely stay there again.

My family of 12, and 4 kids just had an amazing weekend at this property. It was very private, but yet there are stores nearby if you need anything. The guys had a great time being able to fish whenever they wanted and having the pool & jacuzzi to ourselves was another plus! Besides the great amenities at our disposal, Matthew was an amazing host. He began to communicate with me the moment I booked, up to the time we left regarding anything we may need or questions. Very kind and accommodating. We are definitely coming back and highly recommend if you are looking to have a private ranch get away with multiple people.

My family had a wonderful stay here. The house was spacious. The deck was a lovely place to have breakfast every morning. I liked that the place was isolated. We didn't see anyone else in the area. It was fun walking down to the river and wading in the water. The hot tub was great. We really loved how close it was to Lost Maples state park. Brent was a terrific host and communicated regularly. We will definitely be back!

Wow what a place all in one, couldn’t have asked for a nicer home. The house is just like the pictures and it was super clean just felt like home away from home,Packed with all the essentials. Everything from the check in to asking for extra blankets and towels was smooth and the owners are super nice people, had a great conversation with them lots of recommendations from them about the town. Great stay this past weekend for a couples group vacation. We all highly enjoyed it and it was the perfect getaway we all needed. The property is beautiful we definitely did some fishing in the pond. And enjoyed way all the deer every morning and night come up to eat.

Beautiful property with a winery next door. River basically in the backyard and short drive to the Frio. Great for families. Has all the amenities you need. We will be back.

This was our 2nd visit and it was just as peaceful and beautiful as the first time we were here! Jennifer is an amazing host and her home so comfortable - between the fruit/cheese/cracker tray she leaves, the coffee, the comfy beds, it was just what we needed for a wonderful weekend getaway! Great place...better location! If you want privacy AND the ability to be with people, this is the place. You are out in the country but a quick 15 minute drive from the shops in downtown Fredericksburg. The river was perfect...my wife and kids caught small perch and I lounged on the tube. Our adult children thanked us several times for staying there.

The property at at The Owl Loft is beautiful it is surrounded by hills and one of the best parts besides the pool ( grand babies loved the pool) was the amazing view of the stars at night we even got to see some shooting stars. We had some of the donkeys great us when we got in which was also a highlight for the family. The house was clean and well stocked the kitchen had everything you’d need there were plenty of towels and extra sheets as well.

The host was accommodating, responsive, and flexible. It was easy to contact Melissa, she was very sweet and reliable. Enjoyed the place, was well equipped for our needs. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Any concerns were addressed and handled professionally and respectfully. I would recommend renting this beautiful abode.

Pamela’s place was exactly as described—clean, quiet, and comfortable. Communication was smooth, and check-in was easy. It felt like a peaceful home base during our trip. We appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the house.
