Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Kern River

Our stay at Angels Hill was great! The perfect place to unplug and relax as a family. We have young kids (1 and 3.5) and it was perfect for them! Lots of space to play outside, the shaded deck was perfect for the 1 year old, and lots of kid necessities included (high chair seat, pack and play, plastic plates, etc). We loved adventuring around to hike and play in creeks in the area. We plan to come back!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Sami and Glo's house! This may be the nicest Airbnb we've ever stayed at. Not only is it a beautiful home that has everything you need - they paid attention to every small detail. The 4 bedrooms worked out great for my family of 5. We especially enjoyed the amazing views from the deck, the coffee bar, and we watched movies as a family every night. It was the perfect home to come back to after spending several hours at Sequoia National Park. We will absolutely be back! Thanks for everything.

Staying at Kermit's was like staying at my old grandparents' home. It was cozy, welcoming, homey, and it had absolutely everything we needed to cook great meals, spend time together, and have a blast doing so. The kitchen was well stocked, the grill was prepared and ready to go, the lights on the patio at night were wonderful, and the backyard had plenty for us to do. I have spent more money on Airbnbs for less than our stay at Kermit's, and I am happy to say that I would gladly spend a trip at Kermit's again!

Could not have been more pleased with this Airbnb from the spacious and bright bedrooms, high ceilings, modern bathrooms, cozy living room, huge and pristine front deck, and the exceptionally well-equipped and beautiful kitchen. The host has thought of everything you can hope for when spending good money on your vacation and was super friendly and responsive when we had a question. We were absolutely thrilled with our stay here and our only wish was that we could have stayed longer!

This was the fourth time we have frequented this AirBnB and that says a lot. A very unique location with the Sierra Nevada mountains looming to the west and the awesome rock formations all about. The accommodations are spacious and welcoming with many family entertainment options within, including pool and ping pong tables in the basement, and the great outdoors to wander in. We thoroughly enjoyed are stay with our son, his wife and our grand-kids. Our younger grandson upon leaving said " I love this place!". And we do too!

Tim and Jennifer’s place was lovely and I enjoyed my stay there. Everything was as described The fenced in yard was great for my golden retriever and the area is quite peaceful. There is a bit of road noise but I didn’t find it too disturbing at night when trying to sleep, however it may bother people that are sensitive to noise. Tim and Jennifer were great hosts and provided clear instructions. They also baked vanilla scones for us, which was a really sweet and kind gesture. I would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future!

The location was exceptional; the house was roomy, functional and comfortable and the views were spectacular. My wife and I spent Thusday through Sunday there and were close enough to the parks to tavel there twice- just to come back and watch the sunset across the vast valley and the farmland beyond hills.

The apartment was home for almost 3 months and quite comfortable and very well equipped! lovely and safe location...loved that this apt was at very back! Laura herself was quickly responsive and a true sweetheart! ty again for making my time away from my flooded home comfortable!

Beautiful private home. Great pool and hangout spots around the home, got to see the goats and the cow. Place was huge. We enjoyed our stay. Host was very attentive and responsive.

We had an incredible stay at this fantastic property! The pickleball courts, dog run, and outdoor seating area with heat lamps were perfect for our family. The beautiful grounds, complete with chickens and a cozy fire pit with provided firewood, made the experience even more memorable. Our stay was a last-minute booking on Christmas Day after we arrived at another Airbnb that was unsanitary and unacceptable. The hosts were wonderful, giving us instant access to their property and turning what could have been a disastrous holiday into an unforgettable experience. This was a perfect place to host a large family. This was a beautiful place to create new memories and reminisce on old ones, family is very important to me and Gus made his place feel like home , there was many activities to indulge into and enjoy. Definitely looking forward for our next family reunion. The place was peaceful, and neighbors are a little spread out, therefore giving us our privacy. I would definitely stay here again.

The place was amazing! My family & I enjoyed it very much. There were many activities for children to do indoors and the adults enjoyed the treadmill. ☺️ there was ample space. We would love to go back. Everything was perfect.

We spent a long weekend getaway at Pete’s with our children. The house was clean, quiet and comfortable. It is very close to everything but also secluded in a private neighborhood tucked back away from the main road. It had every single thing we needed and way more. We especially enjoyed the beautiful views from the porch. We would absolutely stay again. Pete was a great host- he was easy to communicate with and gave very clear instructions.

This place is great! We were there with four young teenagers who had a blast. The backyard is amazing, with no shortage of things to keep one occupied. The outdoor kitchen is a nice amenity we utilized. And the inside is very comfortable. The kitchen is big, clean and nice. Overall, I recommend staying here. Shayne is very responsive and was very helpful.
