Charming Garden Cottage in Karen

ShailjaRating, 5 stars77 months ago
Loved the many trees in the compound, and the privacy of the cottage. Peter was an excellent host, responding promptly to all my requests and concerns. Onsite manager, Helima, did a great job welcoming me, keeping the cottage clean and well-stocked, and being available for any problems. Be prepared for the neighbourhood noise, day and night - traffic, low-flying planes, jua kali workshops, amplified church services on Sundays.

Amboseli Park - Mt. Kilimanjaro in Kimana

MarkRating, 5 stars64 months ago
Warren's place is exactly as described on the photos. I flew into JKIA the morning of my booking and we stayed in touch in the days and hours leading up to my arrival. His responses were quick and thoughtful. I took the Breakfast option and did not regret it- the breakfast was amazing and filling. The place was also easy to find given than the directions given were accurate and spot on. I recommend Warren's place to everyone at a heart beat. I only stayed for one night but I wish I stayed longer!

Cosy Garden Cottage / House

LisaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A gem of a hidden Airbnb! Jürgen quickly responded to any messages, he was organised and thorough. It was lovely to meet both him and his wife. Such a friendly welcome! The guest cottage has everything you would need for a short or longer stay in Nairobi, everything was thought of. The location is ideal - very close to Village Market, UN area, Sarit centre and lots of other key spots. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!

Murera Cottage Lake Elementaita.

Christine XiaowenRating, 5 stars24 months ago
David's place is amazing and the staffs are helpful and friendly. The location of the cottages is wonderful in that there's an open area right next to the lake and you can easily observe flamingos and storks easily. But please be sure that you're arriving with a great SUV car because the way to the place wasn't easy.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The house is so charming and thoughtfully built. It matched the photos and description given. It was also very clean and easy to find. Sam is responsive and was happy to help us. He adjusted his timings to accommodate our check in which was earlier than we had anticipated. The house manager is very warm and hospitable. It was lovely, to say the least!

Let me take the opportunity to say thank you for the hospitality. We really appreciated the flexibility to our needs, support with getting to the location. The couple on the ground was very kind and accessible when we needed them. The space is extremely beautiful, secure and comfortable. I just wanted to say that you've done well on your part. Nestled perfectly where the city meets the countryside, this beautifully constructed A-frame house offers an idyllic retreat. The location is private, secure, and exudes tranquility. I was so captivated by the serene surroundings that we extended our stay to immerse myself in nature a bit longer.

Cosy & Airy Studio with Balcony WI-FI and Netflix

FatimaRating, 5 stars16 months ago
Cosy Tiny Living is exactly that, a repurposed container that holds everything you need in a small space, including a reliable Wi-fi connection for those who need to work from home. Catherine and Jay are super responsive, friendly and accommodating hosts who don't hesitate to make an already homely experience even cosier. The friendly neighborhood is lined with local shops and restaurants providing your daily needs. For those looking for more "westernised" goods, Mountain View mall is at a walking distance and you are a short Uber ride away from Westgate Mall. I loved my stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place that feels like home in Nairobi.

The Red Container-Off Grid

The place is neat and well maintained, spacious, and ideal to recharge. The bonfire was a plus for the chilly night. Eunice also kept extra blankets, bedding and towels for guests, which we loved. We also loved the board games.

The Wagons, Loltunda Farm, Salt Borana Laikipia

FilipaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Anikia' place is unique. Original set-up in the middle of a huge farm where you can take a real break from everything and disconnect. Kids loved the tree house and the zip line. Despite our original thoughts to do something around The Wagons, due to the remoteness and quietness of the place, we decided to stay and enjoy it as much as possible

The Boathouse | Mukima Manor

RickRating, 5 stars11 months ago
We had an unforgettable experience at The Boathouse. The property is surrounded by an abundance of birds, creating a serene ambience perfect for nature lovers. Additionally, the dam on the property added a charming touch. This place is a true gem in Nanyuki, perfect for a peaceful retreat with spectacular views of Mt. Kenya and a connection to nature. Highly recommended!

Amboseli Trails A-frame

BettyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This place is absolutely a hidden gem. I can’t wait for more people to visit it and experience all it has to offer. I’m willing to bet money it’s going to be a RARE find. Oloitoktok, Kimana and surrounding towns are small so if you have a lot of “small quirks”, better plan a checklist and carry things from Nairobi to avoid disappointment. I carried a cooler as the only extra amenity and it served me well. The support staff at the location are friendly and polite. The day hike with Lee(Brian) to Kilimanjaro, seeing the mountain up-close and the waterfall/stream cool off were so refreshing and relaxing! The Amboseli Motorbike Sunset Safari with Benson was the highlight for me! He got me so close to the animals and his local knowledge of the Conservancy and National Park really impressed me. I got wonderful photos and have him to thank for that. I also planted a tree at the location and hope other guests also take the time to plant one too! Thank you Lee & see you soon! Highly recommend

The Ol Kalou Retreat

JayRating, 5 stars5 months ago
I was needed of a quiet-get away from NBO, when I get to this retreat, I couldn’t ask for more. Jacqueline, the host has been responsive and attentive to your questions and needs. She also has her full team including Arnold, and the caretaker on ground, Simon who will make sure you’re taken care of. The cabin is so cute, lovely, clean and environmental friendly. Not only you will reconnect to the beautiful nature but you will reconnect with your soul through the cold fresh-clean air, the sounds of nature and warm charcoals provided. The morning coffee is my favorite moment, so does a small walk to the stream just by the house. If you like outdoor & camping you’ll know what to prepare. Not about sleeping in a tent (as beds are provided & hot-shower) but more of the self-catering preparation and personal warm-clothes. If you are short on things, there’s Jamaa supermarket 15 mins drive-away to Ol Kalou town. So, take off your shoes, enjoy & feel the green yard! It’s one beautiful one.

Jua Cottage with Pool in Karen Nairobi

BelindaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Ol Losowan proved to be a very peaceful place to spend our final few days in Kenya before flying back to the U. K. Within walking distance of the Giraffe Centre, we took in that experience and then cooled off in the beautiful saline pool and read beneath the trees and umbrellas. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds made for restful nights, and we made the most of the kitchen and bbq facilities to prepare most of our meals on site to the sound of the tree hyraxes and bush babies. Thank you for hosting us Julie and your team. Our only disappointment was that we never got to meet you in person!
