Maji Moto Eco Camp

RobertoRating, 5 stars78 months ago
Not staying here while visiting Kenya, is not living not only the best Kenyan experience, but maybe one of the best ones of your life. Everything was beyond I imagined, and I was already excited to be there before from the photos and reviews. The place is incredible, heart made, breath taking views, amazing experiences to live the Masai culture and discover the beautiful surroundings. Breath taking views everywhere, anytime. Delicious food. Very comfortable beds and spaces with, again, amazing views. And most important, the most beautiful, kind and amazing people. They were key of this experience and will be always grateful with them for everything they did to make this experience one of the best ones Watch the sunset from more than 5 different breath taking spots. Watch the sunrise from a high point and feel you’re conquering the world. Discover the villages around by walk or bike, and even get a closer encounter with wildebeest, zebras, Thompsons, cows, goats. Something you may not have in your planned safari. If it’s available for your dates. I highly encourage to book it.

We enjoyed our stay at Ians place a lot. Nice pool and a short way to the beach. A lovely restaurant (Lichthaus) is also really close. Cooking by your self or getting some food from the restaurant are nice opportunities, even for budget travelling. We can recommend!

Oasis Eco Camp Lake Elementaita Tents.

PeterRating, 5 stars53 months ago
Chege is a nice host, he responded to our calls, and gave us accurate directions. The waiters are friendly, especially the busy guy who serves customers at the tent area next to the lake. We found the food a bit more expensive to us. Kindly make your packages more friendly to those who may prefer to make their own meals. I can recommend the place to any nature loving person, looking for serenity and ready to connect to themselves. Will be coming back soon.

Cozy Aruba bush tent at Masai Mara / Talek river

ArielleRating, 5 stars41 months ago
Amazing Safari lodge. The staff very friendly and helpful and th game drives were amazing. Our guide was knowledgable and made sure we could see all of the animals that they could find. The food was great although expensive and a set price. My only complaint is that we were not told in advance that the lodge only accepts cash or M-Pesa for charges outside of payment for the room which was an inconvenience since we did not have enough cash and could not access M-Pesa

K's Floating Getaway - Glamping Experience

JessicaRating, 5 starstoday
We really enjoyed our stay here. If you are looking for a unique place to get away to, then this is perfect for you. The environment is so beautiful and peaceful. It is nearby a lot of fun places. Kay was very helpful and responsive. The only downside is that when you want to get into or out of the room, you need to call the host to assist you with the boat. He always came immediately and was so nice, but it would have been nice to be able to get in and out more often without having to disturb the host. But overall, I LOVED my stay there and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway.

The camp is a lovely hidden spot! Beautiful terrain, hosts are very friendly and helpfull, every night a campfire is made, great relaxing spots and the tents are comfy. Bathroom facilities are clean and its great to have a kitchen available to cook/bbq your own stuff. Easy drive to Amboseli park and great view on Kilimanjaro from the park. Value for your money is incredible (compared to all the expensive lodges around the area). Definitely recommended!

Bonham Camps @ Soysambu

KimRating, 5 stars21 months ago
Simon’s Camp (Bonham) was one of the highlights of our 3 week trip to Kenya. Myself & my husband were the only guests there and were made to feel so comfortable by Kevin, Albanus & Kelvin. Each one of these men went above and beyond their duty to look after us. Nothing was too much bother. I believe Kevin when he told us that he’s only happy if we as his clients are happy. Albanus is the official chef but he stood aside to let Kelvin cook. We weren’t sure what food to take with us but Kelvin concocted the most delicious amazing meals from the basic ingredients we provided. At Simon’s camp you’ll get an experience that you’ll never forget. The luxury from the mess tent to the accommodation tents speaks volumes. The planning and thought that must have gone into this business really stands out. I really wish we’d had longer here! We will definitely be returning at some stage! Thank you to you all Jack (sorry we didn’t meet you) Kevin, Albanus and last but not least Kelvin.

Elephant trails camp.

GlennRating, 5 stars9 months ago
This camp is less than 10 minute drive from the Sekenani gate. On my first day through the gate, I saw at least five different species of animals in the first 10 minutes. I spent 2 1/2 days & 3 nights & saw many species including rhinoceros Buffalo, several male lions, leopard, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, ostrich, wildebeast, zebra, eland, hippos alligators etc. The camp is a nice place to stay at. It is quiet & peaceful & away from.any neighbors. Beds are comfortable with three beds per room. I had Wi-Fi & hotshowers & food to eat for all three meals which is included in the price. I would stay here again. Dennis visited with us in the evening & helped make our trip enjoyable. He offered to pick us up from the airport and to offer us private game drives as well. The one thing I learned was that everyone sees the same animals. The guides all talk by radio & tell each other where to go. I paid less money for this booking but saw the exact same animals others who paid more

We had a wonderful stay at Sabache. We spent 9 nights there and felt another week would have been good. It is close enough to Samburu, Buffalo Springs and Shaba Reserve to go to them for day trips. The staff kindly prepared packed breakfast and lunches for us on our day trips.
