Quant little cabin nestled high enough in the mountain to view Mt Alice from the front porch and still close enough to the town of Seward. There is a queen bed and a futon. The love seat reclines also. There is a fire pit you are free to use and some bikes hang from the deck of the main house feel free to use those. The house is located up the mountain but the road can be heard from the cabin. The queen bed and twin futon are located in the same room. One guest complained the area was to small.

The Salmon are visible from May thru July.

Our crew came up to Alaska to do a cultural survey in the area and they loved staying at this location! Thank you for the great stay!

Amazing place and easily fit two families!! Gorgeous interior with the rustic Alaskan feel and the location is perfect, a little off of the main coopers landing road but walking distance to the main gas station and Kenai River. Absolutely great place and super reasonable price: )

the cabin was a great place to stay with my 2 grown grandsons and son for a fishing adventure in alaska. have rented other cabins in soldotna in previous years but this one stands way out in front. the cabin was well stocked, clean and beds were comfortable. the view of the lake was spectacular. based on my recommendation one of my friends has booked a cabin at the lake for next year.

Sunlight filters through multiple windows, illuminating the space and offering views of the outdoors. A dining area with a large table is visible.

Spacious Soldotna Home w/ Mackey Lake Views!

The house worked well as a base to explore the Kenai peninsula. We had 6 adults in our party and the bedrooms with private bathrooms worked perfectly. The dining table was great for us to eat and play cards. The grill and kitchen functioned well for us as well. The backyard was natural so going to the fire pit or to the lake was not optimal. One of the few things that I would recommend the host to improve on. A dock and path would be a lovely addition! Only one TV in the house which was not a problem as we spent most of our time enjoying human interaction, games and the view of the float planes passing by and lake view. There is a great library in the main living area that we enjoyed. We had an internet problem when we arrived but it was resolved by the time we returned from our dinner. The location is a bit off the main road, but for Alaska not terribly far. Around 10 minutes to the grocery store. Overall a great place as long as you can manage stairs. All bedrooms require stairs.

This cabin was absolutely incredible. The views are absolutely breathtaking!!! The drive from anchorage to this cabin was breathtaking as well every time you turn your head there is something new to look at. The cabin itself was very cozy and peaceful. We will definitely be staying here again when we return.

The view from our patio was one of a kind. we could watch otters and seals from our patio while we had our coffee. The Airbnb was spotless and looked renovated and brand new. we had everything we needed and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.

Beautiful location. Loved the amenities like the campfire every night looking over the water, sauna was clean, and breakfast had homemade goods that were delish. Eagles nest was just as described. No tv. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place.
