We had an awesome stay and would recommend this airbnb to anyone especially if you are looking for a peaceful setting where you can see and hear the sea, which are close by. We were so relaxed and enjoyed the area, just a lovely place to stay and unwind.

Had an amazing trip in Kerikeri, Margaret's house smelt lovely walking in and everything was immaculate. Couldn't have been better!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better). Every detail was thoughtfully considered — from the cozy linens to the real bottle of milk in the fridge. Communication with our host was seamless; they were welcoming, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal, peaceful and quiet. We truly felt at home and would not hesitate to book again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch experience!

What a beautiful and peaceful place to be. It was as lovely as described and even more! It was all as described plus the things you can't always know until you get there... Spotlessly clean, comfortable, friendly neighborhood, no squeaky floors so you can get up for your morning coffee without disturbing anyone, an incredible changing landscape with the changing of the tides. Absolutely loved it!

Whilst it is a modest home, it has everything needed for an affordable, relaxing and enjoyable time away. Couple minutes walk to a lovely beach, kiwi and other native birds literally across the road, host guided us on the first night and was full of knowledge. A real treat that the kids (and parents) really enjoyed. House has all the amenities you would expect. We self catered and had all we needed. Good shower, washer & dryer, good deck with sea views, comfortable living area and comfy beds. Really was great value for money and would happily stay again. If you want 5 star there’s plenty in the area at 5 star prices, but this place offers fantastic bang for buck (save dollars and use for a tour or activity). Shelley & Graham were amazing hosts, incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable of the local area. They made our stay in Paihia feel like home away from home, and the guest suite was more than we could have expected ! We will definitely be staying there next time we are in town !

Jenny is an Amazing Host ,very friendly very easy to engage with ,she made us feel like her house was ours, We arrived an hour before check in , but she allowed us in,the apartment was in spotless condition with excellent views and easy walk into town also had everything inside we needed ,we all felt very comfortable. I would highly recommend Jenny's apartment to anyone wanting somewhere to stay in Paihia for a Bay of Islands Escape.

Lil welcomed us on arrival and showed us the amenities and the wifi password. The beds were neatly made as well as the sofa bed. Lil recommended a couple of walks that we could do and it was as awesome as she described, when we hiked to Smugglers Bay the next day. A faulty light bulb in the main bedroom was promptly replaced. The place was very clean and we had access to everything that we needed. We enjoyed our stay and we felt right at home and welcome. Highly recommended and we will definitely stay there when we are in the region again.

Our stay at Margaret & Lou’s property amazing. As myself and my partner are visiting my parents who live in another part of Northland and we wanted them to see Paihia which they did as we had the most amazing views. Thank you ☺️

Second time I have stayed here. A nice relaxing place in the country. Perfect for a get away. Having a washing machine and dryer is always a bonus. Chocolates on arrival, a welcome treat. I found the bed perfect for my liking. Will be back again, as good location for day trips up to Bay of Islands and other surrounding areas.

We stayed at Roy’s Bayview Apartment for two nights during our Bay of Islands trip, and honestly - it was perfect. The property is beautifully kept, spacious and has the kind of views you just can’t stop staring at. Waking up to those views was such a treat. It felt private, quiet, luxurious and incredibly cosy. Roy was a thoughtful and communicative host, providing all the details we needed and going the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making the apartment feel welcoming. It was the perfect base for exploring Paihia, Russell and Waitangi, but also ideal for just slowing down and soaking up the calm. We really enjoyed our 2 nights stay at Julie's place. The setting was beautiful and it felt like being in the middle of the bush. Julie is a very friendly and accommodating host and there were some lovely and thoughtful items she left inside the apartment, such as cookies for us and for our dog, muesli, yoghurt, milk and fresh fruit plus some dog poop bags etc. We met Julie and Dexter only briefly and would like to thank you for an enjoyable stay.

A lovely home with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Come for the home stay for the view! A spectacular vista, from the Whiria Pa, across the harbour to the golden sand dunes. Also, a great selection of books to while away the hours 🙂 We had the generous bonus of using the down stairs spa as there were no guests. perfect!

Very friendly, very tidy well looked after property

The most serene beautiful location. Felt like a million miles from anywhere but best brekkie and coffee just steps from the door and a general store a couple of minutes away with everything you could need. Bed to die for, luxury linens and towels. Possibly the cleanest place EVER. thank you gavin, a perfect stay in a beautiful location.

For a winter break it really was perfect. Best spot ever. The best part....The people! Friendly, helpful. Kind. Every eatery was great. Op shop for fishing clothes too! Had great fishing with " Buckos" Dont miss it! Will return. Thankyou. BnM

Fabulous hosts, lovely accommodation. We stayed for three nights, and all loved it including our puppy. If we didn't have to be back home for things, we would've extended our stay by a couple more nights. I'm sure we will be back again though. Thanks for the lovely stay

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

We had a very pleasant stay here in Paihia with stunning water views. It was peaceful to come home to after touring all day. Easy check-in and good communication from the host. Would stay again!
