Bungalow vacation rentals in Kaveri River

I booked the German House having previously visited as a guest the previous year. I arrived early January and left at the end of March. Having visited India many times, this was my first location away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Surrounded by farm land, the closest beach is about 500 meters walk. There is little traffic and from morning until night you are treated to birdsong. There are lots of local walks and three dogs, Tina, Jenny and Maya to remind you it’s time for exercise. The shops are about 2.5kms away with all you need for your stay. The local fisherman also provide a wealth of bounty and the food I had at the German House was delicious. Finally I must thank Mala for her care and attention and of course her cooking. She does all she can to ensure your stay is all you hoped it would be, including regularly cleaning the swimming pool ready for a cooling dip.

Well the place is perfect if u want a peaceful beach vibe, u can soak in the ocean whenever u want, and since there were a lot of surfboarders in the area it's safe to go for a swim too. U can go for walks anytime(yes late night, owners labrador might join u for the fun ;)). We went in summer heat but it was manageable. Helena was a very good Host with her three cute children, it felt like a home there. We had a very good discussion om different things, she helped out with all the things that were needed. I dont think I would look for any other place if I visit pondy again.

I recently stayed at this amazing villa in Auroville and had an incredible experience. The place offers breathtaking views of the sea that you can enjoy from both inside the villa and the beautifully maintained outdoor areas. Waking up to the sight and sound of the ocean was pure bliss. The villa is beautifully designed, with elegant interiors that feel both luxurious and cozy. The outdoor spaces are just as lovely, with lush gardens and comfortable seating areas perfect for relaxing and soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. One of the best parts about this villa is its location. It’s just a short walk to the beach, which was super convenient for us. Plus, it’s close to all the central spots in Auroville, so we had no trouble exploring the area and enjoying all the local attractions. The care taker deserves a special shoutout for being so helpful and attentive. From the moment we arrived, they made sure we had everything we needed and were always available to assist with any questions

Vikram was available on the phone even though we had a very late check-in. He was very responsive to our needs and was proactive. The suite was in a beautiful, leafy neighborhood. It was close to cafes, bakeries and fruit and vegetable vendors. There was a clothes drying rack outdoors. The kitchen had the essential appliances, pots and dishes. I highly recommend this place.

We had a great time here. The bunglow is well maintained with 4 bedrooms with attached bathroom, one huge living room with a dining table, big spacious kitchen a backyard and front garden with Gazebo. In the morning you can also go on walk down the trail in estate. Kitchen as many utensils to cook and serve. basic provisions of sugar, cleaning, handwash,etc is provided. Kitchen has a 8 seater dining table and common bathroom. It has Fridge , gas stove and cleaning area. It overlooks the backyard. Please note - 1)that the fourth bedroom is in the center area, so privacy might be compromised and it has a common bathroom in the kitchen. 2) TV was not working. But we did not want to watch the TV with the nature so beautiful. 3) There is no wifi. However Airtel signals are good here. Vodafone phones did not get any signals. We did hotspot from Airtel phone. 4) Incase you are travelling in rainy season please carry sport shoes and don't roam around in slippers in the outside area as its green and slippery. 5) Breakfast was really good. They sent to the bunglow . Even if you want lunch and dinner , they can provide. We had cooked our meals in the bunglow. 6) The staff was very kind and helpful. House was clean and neat. 7) Blankets are provided. 8) Bunglow is down the coffee trail in the valley. 9) As its very natural there might be snails and small insects. There were no mosquitos or cockroaches. It was very clean. You might want to carry an all insect killer spray safe side. We had carried our mosquito nets and insect spray safe side. 10) Best thing it has power backup. 11) So that we don't get bored. We had taken indoor outdoor games. Enough space inside and out for playing games. We had pre-downloaded movies to watch anticipating no wifi. Good time. Lovely house. Super prompt staff.

A beautiful house with all amenities provided. Ample space and a beautiful garden - lawn with local fruits growing. Can accommodate a big group as well. The host was very helpful in every way that we needed. This property would be ideal if you're a small group 5-8 people and can party without creating a racket, as it's a very peaceful, noiseless, residential neighborhood.

Great place for those who would like to hang around with friends/ family. The care taker (Chitra) was helpful. I would come back here for sure.

We were 8 adults, 1 infant & 2 cats. The property is perfect for a large group as it has ample space both inside & outside. The hospitality was impeccable. The food, even better! it was so good that we ended up having breakfast & dinner for 2 days from Sunshine itself. Although Venkat doesn't stay in the property, he was extremely helpful till the day we checked out. Must visit if you are looking for a pleasant stay with family/friends.

Hemos pasado un fin de semana muy agradable lejos del ruido de las urbes india. Una casa renovada con gusto, una comida excelente y todo un equipo pendiente de nuestras necesidades. La casa esta ubicada en un pequeño pueblo de la campiña tamil. A escasos metros de la casa, hay un templo dedicado a Shiva que se puede visitar sin problema y a unos 2 kms uno de los más grandes templos del sur de la India. Sin hablar de dos antiguas colonias francesa (Karaikal) y danesa (Tranquebar) a pocos kilometros, la zona merece la pena. Volveremos

Our experience at Bhoomiputra Mansion in Mysuru was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and thoughtful touches that instantly made us feel at home. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated. The beds were incredibly comfortable. We especially appreciated the peaceful surroundings. The hosts were outstanding — friendly, responsive, and genuinely caring. The property is situated in and around the city but without the hassle and rush of the city. Navigating to any tourists spots in Mysuru was a breeze. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Mysuru — this is the kind of place that stays with you long after your trip ends.
