I recently stayed at this amazing villa in Auroville and had an incredible experience. The place offers breathtaking views of the sea that you can enjoy from both inside the villa and the beautifully maintained outdoor areas. Waking up to the sight and sound of the ocean was pure bliss. The villa is beautifully designed, with elegant interiors that feel both luxurious and cozy. The outdoor spaces are just as lovely, with lush gardens and comfortable seating areas perfect for relaxing and soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. One of the best parts about this villa is its location. It’s just a short walk to the beach, which was super convenient for us. Plus, it’s close to all the central spots in Auroville, so we had no trouble exploring the area and enjoying all the local attractions. The care taker deserves a special shoutout for being so helpful and attentive. From the moment we arrived, they made sure we had everything we needed and were always available to assist with any questions

We had a very happy time in David's place. David was very kind and welcoming. This place is very near to French colony and Rock beach which are the happening areas around. It was really a pleasant stay. Thank you so much David.😊

Awesome ambience and good hospital we felt like home and its a perfect place for the vacation with Family and friends.

The home stay was very comfortable , clean and well maintained. it's at walkable distance from Serenity beach .The host was very polite ,hospitable and communications were very clear right from the get go. I was travelling with my aunt , we felt very safe and comfortable at this place(the host even shared live locations of the place for us to get back safely ). The host arranged for us to get an auto to travel around for the 2 days we were there . the home cooked breakfast was an additional treat. To sum it up , its was a very good and pleasant experience at this homestay.Would highly recommend it to everyone .

The property is as peaceful as it looks in the photos, all the details are very well mentioned in the description. The property manager is very helpful and proactive with all the requests. David made our stay very comfortable and easy! Just a thing to keep in mind, as this is a property next to the beach, Naturally there were a bunch of insects and ants. Although proper precautions were taken with hit and protective nets. Nothing much can be done about the ants. Overall a very wholesome place to stay, every major tourist spot is within 15 mins drive.

What a fantastic option to stay at! It's right opposite to serenity beach and you can go for a lovely early morning walk at sunrise. The house itself is beautiful, quaint and very cozy. The view out of the terrace is very calm and serene, and a nice place to doze off during the hot afternoons to the sounds of the ocean. Vincent does everything to make sure your arrival is perfect. Rubi, Muthu and Adi are fantastic as well. Adis cooking is also something to mention. It was a 10/10. Overall, the stay was everything the two of us could ask for. For four people, it is also perfect. I would recommend the place strongly to anyone who wants to visit the beautiful little town of Pondicherry. Thanks Vincent and team for the wonderful experience!

We had a fantastic stay at Venkat’s place! The house was well-equipped with all the amenities we could ask for and was conveniently located within easy reach of one of the most stunning beaches. The caretakers were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The food they served was absolutely delicious and added a special touch to our experience. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

This is a place not just for your mind and body but also the soul. The chalet has excellent ventilation and the view is to die for. The design and the setting blends minimalist philosophy with comfort so that you have everything you need in a manner sustainable to the environment. The food that this establishment serves is as good as Italian cuisine gets. I haven’t tasted such good pasta since my time in Italy. I would certainly consider their spaghetti as the best I have had in india. The culture of the establishment has struck a perfect balance between respecting the privacy of the guests while also ensuring that the stay is comfortable. The pool is especially the highlight of this place besides the beach access. Over all- the vacation and the stay here was perfect.

great stay

Very peaceful stay. Not your standard resort / hotel experience as they very clearely stated. Beach is pristine. Worth for anyone who wants a little breather from the fast city life.

I really enjoyed my stay, and felt all the positive reviews were accurate and helpful. Sandhya and Eric were lovely hosts who helped me with whatever I needed. Tanto Pizzeria delivers to the Farbeach rooms which is great, because the beachside can feel a little secluded after dark. Though as soon as you walk to ECR, you can access whichever shops and amenities you may need.

I booked the German House having previously visited as a guest the previous year. I arrived early January and left at the end of March. Having visited India many times, this was my first location away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Surrounded by farm land, the closest beach is about 500 meters walk. There is little traffic and from morning until night you are treated to birdsong. There are lots of local walks and three dogs, Tina, Jenny and Maya to remind you it’s time for exercise. The shops are about 2.5kms away with all you need for your stay. The local fisherman also provide a wealth of bounty and the food I had at the German House was delicious. Finally I must thank Mala for her care and attention and of course her cooking. She does all she can to ensure your stay is all you hoped it would be, including regularly cleaning the swimming pool ready for a cooling dip.

Our stay felt like home away from home at Kavi's place. It was beautiful, with a very well-maintained garden outdoors, and it's just a minute's walk away from the beach. and there is even an old school gym set up by the terrace, a great add-on amenity to have at an Airbnb. Kavi had connected us with some great local contacts to have a surprise birthday plan, which we set up on his rooftop. Over all a great and peaceful experience, and I would stay at the same place when I get a chance to revisit. Thank You Kavi - You have been a great host.

Clean, safe, close to many restaurants, stores and walkable to Aurobindo Ashram. Helpful and kind staff and the wifi worked well enough for me to work. We’ll definitely stay here again.

The place was excellent, the view was second to none! Requesting Feroz to fry up some massive prawn and seafood was one of our highlights….highly recommend staying at the Outrigger!!!

I had a wonderful stay! The place was perfect — clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The hosts were amazing — incredibly hospitable, kind, and always ready to help with anything I needed. They even went out of the way to suggest me all the tourist attractions and great restaurants in the vicinity. Their warmth really made the stay extra special.
