This villa is perfect, set in mature grounds filled with jasmine and pool with a spectacular view. Walking distance to Sparkcoha ( not spelling that correctly!) with its white cobbled streets and local taverna. Perfect. Villa took a bit to find as the GPS took us away from it but Kostas was on hand to give us directions. Vathy is a short car ride away and not to be missed so suggest hiring a car. Kostas will give you contacts, also hiring a small motor boat is the best way to see the coast. A fabulous day out on the pond-like Ionian Sea! There is much construction going on throughout the island, so need to be prepared for that. Meganisi is a gem and we had a fantastic break. The house is built well with big spacious rooms, all with air con. And the pool was a godsend…with temps in the early 30’s in early June is was hotter than expected so the pool was wonderful Thanks to Kostas and his team for a lovely stay

Had the most amazing holiday here. Very restful with beautiful views from the balcony. Peace and quiet with just a couple of local bar/cafes and a well stocked supermarket. Very well equipped with everything we needed. Effie was almost instant with her responding usually within ten minutes when we contacted her. She arranged our airport transfers and water taxi (as we arrived late. She was so kind and unbelievably helpful. We would love to revisit . Thank you so much Effie Vivien Lili-Rosa and Sandra

A very good location in the centre of the village. The villa was very clean on arrival and as per the listing and the towels and bed sheets were changed when we expected them to. Thank you for allowing us to stay at the villa.

An incredible surprise! The arrival at the villa with the song of cicadas, the view that reveals itself at every step, a splendid landscape, sea and mountain views, the swimming pool immersed in this Mediterranean paradise with aromatic herbs all around, thyme, rosemary, lavender etc … a relaxing scent and so synonymous with summer, a haven of peace that awakens all the senses and invites physical and spiritual rest. The surroundings are great, you can swim anywhere on the island, all the restaurants we went to are delicious with local and fresh products. Both the villa and the setting were perfect. And the icing on the cake, the lovely hosts, super responsive, very kind and we even had the right to an intervention by the cleaning ladies during our stay, not to mention the many small touches that the host offered us in the villa, like wine, fruit, eggs etc etc very nice after a long journey. We had a wonderful week at Papadato's villa. Located just above the town of Vathy (approx. 10 min walk) it has beautiful views of the sea and surrounding greenery. The house itself is really well equipped with air con in every room - a real blessing as Meganisi can get VERY hot. The outdoor area is huge with a big eating space, gas BBQ, pool and deck. It get's sun for the entire day but the space under the pergola gives lovely shade. The pool is a great size and the outdoor shower is brilliant to cool off. The cleaner half way through the week to change the towels and sheets felt like an extra bit of luxury too! There is an identical villa on the plot above so it's great for multiple families on holiday together (as we did) but they've been carefully designed so you don't overlook one another and are very private. If you are looking for a high spec, clean and modern villa on a beautiful island then look no further than Papadato's villa!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Elissavet’s appartment which was very clean and a perfect size. It was a great central location but very quiet. Elissavet is very responsive to messages and her Mother who provides breakfast was very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were way beyond our expectations with a cooked option as well as a continental option. We would definitely return, thank you.

Spiros and Foteini are great hosts. They were available for support at all times. Spiros was really helpful and welcome us on the island and guided us around. Due to the lack of A/C the house is really hot, so when we asked for an extra fan, Spiros sent us one right the next day! He was always there to help even in the night when we needed help! Pros: The house is really beautiful and the landscape amazing. The fact that you can take the car and/or bike to move around. The nature is thriving and you can smell the forest in the air. The house has many plants around creating a nice atmosphere! The hosts are really kind and supportive! Cons: the house is under the sun constantly making it really hot, in absence of wind! To sleep the shades have to be open to allow some breeze in, allowing also the sun and the noise from neighbors. The car is needed to move around so the price is increased. If there was A/C and the car included I would give 5/5 on the price. I strongly suggest the house!
