Villa vacation rentals in Kataragama

This place is incredible. Pictures don’t do it justice. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, the grounds are spectacular and the staff were phenomenal. Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We had the absolute best time here. There are dogs, goats, chickens, a trampoline, play area and lovely pool to keep the children entertained. We did the “dine under the stars” option and it was amazing, really recommended and unforgettable experience. Location perfect for Yala safari. Highly recommended, 5 stars and a great price.

Alquilamos toda la villa , éramos Dos familias . Las habitaciones eran grandes y cómodas . Pudimos hacer uso de la piscina lo que fue un plus sobre todo viajando con niños . Tienen un restaurante allí que ofrece diversos platos . Los precios son elevados y las porciones pequeñas pero la calidad es buena . Solo aceptan efectivo y rupias . Está bastante cerca del parque nacional . Fue una buena opción viajando en familia con niños .

Great place to stay and great value! The food was really nice also and the villa is picturesque and in a beautiful setting. Be sure to make the most of the treehouse

Unsere Zeit in der Villa war einfach unvergesslich! Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Natur und ist nicht nur wunderschön gestaltet, sondern auch ein Ort der Ruhe und Inspiration. Wir haben unglaublich viel von der Umgebung gesehen–von beeindruckender Tierwelt bis hin zu atemberaubender Natur. Was unseren Aufenthalt aber wirklich besonders gemacht hat, war das herzliche Personal. Die Atmosphäre war familiär, das Essen jeden Tag ein Genuss – frisch, liebevoll zubereitet und typisch für die Region. Besonders möchten wir Nalin und Jayantha hervorheben. Sie haben uns mit ihrer warmen Art sofort das Gefühl gegeben, willkommen zu sein. Gemeinsam haben wir unvergessliche Ausflüge unternommen, sind Fahrrad gefahren, haben die Kultur Sri Lankas auf eine ganz persönliche Weise erlebt – und unsere Kinder waren bei ihnen in den besten Händen. Wir sind voller Dankbarkeit für diese besondere Zeit und können die Villa aus tiefstem Herzen empfehlen.Ein Ort der, Natur, Kultur und Herzlichkeit vereint.

Great location within minutes the Holy site of Kathirgama Kathan Alayam. Nice country style home surrounded by a beautiful garden and a small pond at the entrance. Very responsive guess and dad "Lasith". An honourable mention to the home helper that was there the whole time in case we needed his assistance. He was sporting a "mullet!". The place is surrounded by lots of wildlife like a little froggy in our washroom and little harmless monkeys everywhere. We loved our stay, felt safe and felt like at home closer our holy site.

the place and the setting were unique - it was a perfect base to see Yala and the pool made it a perfect relaxing space. friendly and helpful staff too.

It was a nice place to stay with nature friendly environment. This place had everything you need for a big group. Highlight of the stay was the home made delicious food cooked by care takers ( food needs to be ordered separately and she has stated that on the listing). They managed to organize a safari trip for us with a short notice. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for having us.

It was a nice place to stay with nature friendly environment. This place had everything you need for a big group. Great place to stay if one is looking to go for safari…Sabirah helped us with safari tickets and jeep. Fahim who is the caretaker had cooked some delicious meals for us…my kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Rooms are air conditioned. If you are looking for relaxing and quiet environment kindly go for it…also as it’s close to the forest there are mosquitoes n bugs but not a big worry just carry mosquito repellent. I definitely recommend this place.

Very very good experience! I highly recommend to book it because clearly now it's a new booking and people can be doubtful with not too many reviews. The place is amazing and very stylish. We lived in super private big villa and there is a shared pool but it's very comfortable because it's only 3 villa on the premises. The breakfast is also pretty good. Host gave us local recommendations and also let us do late check out free of charge. Perfect for one night stay or a longer one.

Kenuson villas is truly great, we realy enjoyed our time here. Although the recently builded luxery villa needs some finetuning we had a wonderful time. The host and his family make this place so special. The romantic fire dinner, planting the tree, joining us as a personal guide on a safari and the special gifts when we left. Truly special. We hope to be back one day and we are sure this place will be even greater than it is today. Thanks again!
