From tranquil morning coffees on the dock, to kayaking and admiring the painted turtles and various birds, to stargazing every evening, this spot checked every box for us! Susi and Bruce were amazing hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed. We recommend this rare gem without hesitation, and we look forward to our next stay!

My friends and I had a wonderful getaway stay at the cabin. It was the best getting to watch DVDs together like we used to back in the day with no Internet or service! Natalia was an amazing host and really cared about our stay even to go as far as helping us find transportation around to and from the golf course. The sauna and hot tub are an amazing added bonus on top of the ideal location near the lake and with all the animals around. Would recommend this stay to everyone!

We stayed at Lance's Airbnb for two nights on a girls' trip and had a great time! The space was cozy and well-equipped—the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. We appreciated the extra touches like filtered tap water, a decaf coffee option, comfy beds, a great selection of board games, and cozy housecoats. The location was lovely and definitely gave off authentic cottage vibes. Would stay again :)

Thank you for hosting us - we had an idyllic, peaceful stay but not lacking in things to do. We enjoyed the hot weather by relaxing on the red chairs on the dock, taking the kayaks out on the lake, having a BBQ in the evening, chilling in the hot tub. It was a beautiful setting and the lake house cabin itself was lovely - beautifully decorated and incredible views. Emma was a very responsive host and had all the information either to hand or a quick message away. We are so pleased we found Emma’s place and wish we had longer than a couple of nights as we would’ve happily stayed the week if we weren’t moving around!

We had the most amazing time in this beautiful cabin! The pictures do not do it justice of how beautiful the surroundings are! We felt immediately at home and enjoyed every bit of it. And Lisa is the absolute sweetest host, responds super fast and is committed to her guests having the best time:) Thanks again Lisa we will be back!:)

I would definitely stay again! A&C are lovely folks! I felt right and home and very welcomed. I enjoyed the amazing meal and teas made from their garden and land. The bed was comfortable. The not so small shared cabin suited my needs and expectations. Warm and friendly all around!

Great rustic cabin with lots of water toys to use or rent. Easy access to all lake amenities. Lots of appeal for families, but fine for the two of us.

Dawson and his family/staff exceeded all expectations. We couldn't of asked for a better vacation. We had the absolute best time and had so much to keep 3 kids entertained. We look forward to coming back next year.

We just spend 2 week's at this stunning property! The first week was just myself and my husband and the second week our daughter joined us. The cabin has the most spectacular views and we enjoyed the deck so much as we were able to chase the shade as it was very warm in the sun. The ac in the cabin was welcomed and appreciated. There is a private dock that was absolutely glorious and we took our chairs out there and spent our happy hour (s) every day out there! We enjoyed days on the water with a pontoon boat rental from Magna bay! There are so many local famer's markets that we were able to get all our farm fresh fruits and veggies. One thing to note that is is right on the highway and I was not expecting the noise level of the traffic, however you do get used of it and the view negates any noise! This is a such a gem and hope to get the opportunity to book again! It is magical :) Donna was an amazing host and was extremely quick to respond!

Our family loved our stay here! Though we weren’t able to stay long, it was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. With the beach out front and various activities on the beach and within the resort, this place was perfect for us and our kids. Dawson and his father were also extremely friendly, kind, and helpful upon arrival and with any questions we had. Thank you!!

Beautiful location. The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed to chill out for the week.

This was probably the highlight of our trip. The unit itself was relatively typical to what you would expect in a little lakeside community but the grounds and amenities offered were absolutely, without a doubt 100 % over and above our expectations. We spent a week from Calgary to the island and back, and the 18ish hours we spent at Dawson's would likely take the cake for our favourite part of the trip. There is something to be said about family time on a private beach with a beautiful view. There were plenty of water toys, rafts, and floats available to use. And then there was the sand pit, swing, volleyball net, and more and more and more. I wasn't even loaded up yet and three of the four of us were already messaging others to plan trips to return (the fourth is 5, so he has just asked every day since returning when we will go back to "live at the lake house", haha). I was a little more pricey than our budget would have liked, but it was absolutely worth it !!!

Get place to stay in Sorrento. Friendly staff and easy to get ahold of Dawson for anything you need. Free kayak usage, lawn games, fire pit on the beach and wonderful view points on the beach front. The cabin was clean and looked like the photos, had character and was nice to have a covered private porch outside.

Location and cabin were exactly what I was looking for. It’s was 5 steps from the beach is was clean and well kept and relatively private. I enjoyed every moment of staying there and would go back in a heartbeat.

This place is 10/10. Everything you need in a beautiful vacation property to share with family and friends. This place is so kid friendly, lots of kids plates and cups, even a high chair. The views are mesmerizing, and the lake is crystal clear. Be sure to check out Finns if you bring your boat. Neighbour's are very friendly and we felt right at home. Would stay here again many more times! Jad was such a responsive host, he gave us many recommendations and always assisted us with anything during our stay. If you are looking for a place on the shushwap, definitely don't hesitate and book this up! Thanks Jad for the best summer week!

what a nice retreat. After spending several busy days down town kelowna, we wanted a peaceful retreat from it all. The cottage offered the perfect blend of privacy and nature. The BX creek hiking trail was less than 10 minutes drive away and is a stunning hike along BX creek. The cottage was well stocked with lots of snacks and coffee (they some how knew chocolate covered popcorn is my weakness), out front was the quite sound of birds chirping and the creek in the back ground. It was spot to enjoy a coffee in the morning sun. In the evening, the sun beams through the glass doors in the living room, making it the perfect place to wind down after all the hiking. It was a wonderful stay for a great price.

Awesome place, awesome staff, could not have been happier and will definitely return next year.

After a long day of driving this is just what the doctor ordered! I felt right at home. The shower was incredible and the view from the lounger chair which was situated right along the lakeside was and incredible way to spend my evening!
