There is a small river and a nice old house of Japanese style next to the house .The tool of the barbecue is prepared. （Please bring an ignition agent and charcoal） it's comfortable in summer as the temperature is a few degrees lower than in the city. As of 2024, mobile phones have become much easier to connect to. （no wi-fi） The air conditioner was installed in 2022, but it is only on the first floor.Enjoy the natural air. There is a fan. Firewood isn't available from May as it will be warmer.

Our guest house is located in Tosayama, in a natural mountainous area, about 20 mins' drive from the centre of Kochi City. You can jump into a clear river with 1 min's walk! The building is a 70-year-old house self-renovated by us, where you can feel the old local culture of Japan. We offer a variety of activities to experience the nature and culture of the Tosayama, such as visiting shrines known only to locals, trekking tours to deep forest. We're looking forward to seeing you!

Ricefields, Rivers and Mountains

This house is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern making it convenient but also a unique cultural experience. Mountains and ricefields are beside you, the Shimanto River can be heard. The first/ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with 2 tatami sleeping rooms. Your sleeping room has an air conditioner. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can shop for local foods and prepare it all in your own kitchen.
