Hotel vacation rentals in Kalutara

For the start of our Sri Lanka trip (3 girls) a great starting point. Dhammika and Angelika were very helpful at all times and tried to meet our requests. The airport pickup went smoothly (3 a.m.) and we were also able to get into our room immediately. Room was very spacious, cozy and clean. The covered roof terrace overlooking the "jungle" was a highlight.

It was a beautiful stay, we could feel very home and without reservation although living in the same house with the host family (in separate Appartement of course). The Family is very very friendly and the dogs lovely and quite. We got delicious breakfast and dinner delivered to our balcony. The garden at the lake is beautiful and we felt peace to wake up with this view. We slept with open doors and fresh air and it was very quite. Everything is possible to get (dinner, scooter rental, massage, beer, airport shuttle, excursions) so it is a great service. We also especially liked that we don‘t have the feeling to have to pay for every small thing like at other places, here the kayaks, bikes and Breakfast are included in the price/for free. The neighbourhood is nice and safe. Thanks for the great stay and hospitality- we are so happyto have found this places for last enjoyable days of our vacation!

Edna and Alfons were the warmest hosts you could only ask for! We felt comfortable from the beginning, had a cozy room, the food was super delicious and varied. Here you really experience the original Sri Lanka, away from the tourist paths - and also get to know great, interesting people (other guests, Edna and Alfons, who always have something exciting to tell about their life in the jungle, as well as the nice staff at the lodge). Alfons has taken a hike through the rainforest with us and 2 other guests - absolutely worth it! Also in the morning yoga or a massage at Edna's place I can only recommend it. We had really great days (and didn't want to leave)! 1000 thanks to you two, we will definitely be back!

Sanjaya and his family welcomed us with open arms although we had a little sick rescued street puppy with us. They are animals lovers and also have two dogs of their own. Sanjaya made sure we were feeling right at home from the first minute we arrived. We were amazed by the location, so calm, so peaceful and a little gem next to the bentota river. The cottage was clean and spacious. Sanjaya and his family are very generous people and kind hearted people. They also offered dinner and breakfast for a small price. The food was really good! Thanks again for this unique stay, we‘d come again If we ever visited this area 🥰

Great little resort. Lovely setting with a great pool and on-site restaurant that serves good food. Nice day spa and gem store on site as well. Would highly recommend this place.

Unbeatable location . We were greeted with a drink and given the warmth it was appreciated. Very friendly and helpful hotel owner at all times , he even invited us to a glass of arrak with a nice conversation!! The pool was pretty good

Absolutely fantastic, I cannot believe how wonderful this place is. Rooms are clean and large with all the necessities. The Staff go above and beyond for everything you could possibly need. We stayed here as a family with children and the staff and owner were so accommodating and friendly, we have changed our schedule for our 3 week holiday so that we can come and stay with them again. Can’t wait to return and we’re sad to leave! Thank you :)

Really lovely complex, pool was stunning and comfortable room. Great breakfast at a reasonable rate and attentive staff. Wish we could have stayed longer! Would recommend.
