Gayana’s place was everything we hoped for and more! We were staying for a multi day wedding nearby and needed a clean easy place to sleep and get ready. Gayana and her lovely housekeeper ensured we had everything we needed and more! Including a delicious breakfast every day and assistance to one of the guests who has a visual impairment, which was so kind and appreciated. Beautiful house with a lovely pool - couldnt recommend more!

The Palm Beach Villa was absolutely amazing! Piyal, the house manager, was waiting for us at the airport, and drove us to the Villa, even tho we arrived early in the morning. There was a wonderful breakfast waiting for us upon our arrival. Piyal and Sujami took such great care of us during the day, and Sumith was there all night, which made us feel very safe. We weren't expecting the high level of pampering we received from the 3 of them. It really made our stay truly relaxing. The Villa and grounds are beautiful! The dogs were an added surprise, and were definitely part of the experience :) The pool was heavenly! The beach was right there!!! and was so beautiful and virtually empty! Watching and helping with the morning fishermen was an experience we will never forget! The location is so private, but close enough to many of the island's attractions. Piyal was a gracious host, driver, and AMAZING cook!!! Sujami was so sweet and helpful. Sumith was great! Will def be back!

A picture perfect location by the river very close to Kalutara town. You can't swim in the river but the beaches to swim are not far away. A spacious house with a large varendah and a lovely garden overlooking the river to relax in. It is always breezy, keeping you cool when it is pretty warm outside. We spent all our waking hours out there, not inside the house. The house is well equipped to prepare your own meals and many shops are nearby to purchase whatever you need. There are lots of tuk tuks to get around and the town centre is very close to catch a bus or a train. With the expressway it is easier to get to Kalutara.

Hello, we stayed at this cabin from June 4th to July 7th. The house is as described is a gas stove kitchen, necessary utensils,fridge. Nice area with small plantings,but very beautiful that really need to be watered))) Alena tried to make our stay pleasant to decorate the walls with beautiful paintings. Walking distance to where we ran every morning and bathed with enjoyment in the ocean every morning. Nearby is the market, railway station ,bus stop. Very good location. I am grateful to Alena's assistant Dammick, who absolutely fulfilled all our wishes. I want to say a huge thank you to Alena for giving us the opportunity to relax in her cozy with positive energy house. To be honest, we were 4 people and no one wanted to leave. The rest was wonderful ,fabulous. Affectionate ocean ,divine atmosphere,kind people. I want to come back. I will definitely come back here again.

Everything was great! The location is super convenient, it's close to the nice beach, some restaurants, train station, bus stops. The host is responding very quickly and provided all we asked. In addition, he helped us to arrange river safari. The apartment itself was really great: a lot of space, nice and stylish, with kitchen and terrace. One small disadvantage: it's very close to the school and it's a bit noisy in weekdays mornings, but for us it wasn't a problem. But if quietness is important for you, mind this.

We are volunteers in a school and have been stayed for this house for 11 nights. It's a modern, clean, and very warm home for us. Importantly, the price was not that high. Very very very good house and the owner are so kind to talk. Very good experience.

We stayed at Bliss Villa for 17 nights and it was amazing. Villa is big and has its own territory with jungles and a personal pool. The place is located near Kande Vihara (the temple with the big Budda), Morgalla beach is a 10-15 minutes walk, and Bentota beach is 10 min ride on Tuk-Tuk. Special thanks to De Silva, the landlord of the villa, who met us at the airport, recommended places to visit and even visited them with us. We together visited Yala park, ocean fishing, and lots of other authentic local places. We really enjoyed the time spent together and learn a lot about Sri Lanka. We can recommend you to stay at the villa if you are looking for a calm place in the jungles near the ocean.

This place blew our mind. A very stylish place with amazing hosts. We were the first guests in this place and we enjoyed every second of it. We were welcomed with a drink and food so we felt welcome straight away. I would recommend this place especially to couples who need some rest and peace. It is a bit far away from everything so make sure that you have a scooter or other transportation.

A private and comfortable home, centrally located, quiet street with walking access to beautiful beaches, shopping, restaurants and temple. Great value and excellent hosts...highly recommended.

It’s a very nice place to stay. Quiet surroundings, big rooms, place for sitting outside and everything you might need is here. The family lives nearby and is very nice and helpful. The beach is a short walk away. I would highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time in a caring environment. The bungalow was lovely as was the pool. A perfect place for nature lovers. Our hosts were wonderful and made the experience very special. A charming place to relax and enjoy a beautiful getaway.

The listing is perfectly in line with the photos. The house is very nice. Henry and his team are lovely and very attentive. They were able to let us spend a wonderful holiday and Bentota is the ideal area to discover Sri Lanka. Advise without hesitation!

My family and I loved the house and everything about it. As somebody mentioned before there are 3 bulls/cows, 4 dogs. They don’t bother you at all but the kids didn’t play as much as they wanted in the backyard because they were afraid of the bulls. The house is VERY clean, very comfortable beds and big bathrooms. And most importantly the staff are very respectful and helpful.

We were here for our 25th Anniversary. This beautiful place is a peaceful oasis to relax and recharge. You could want for nothing. Senaka and his crew went above and beyond to make our Sri Lankan experience special and to always be warmly remembered. The staff anticipated and accommodated all of our requests. The food was amazing, and the tours fun, immersive, and informative. Meals were amazing, you will definitely not go hungry! Their breakfast was beautiful and ever changing. We had them do dinners for us and they were amazing, fresh and tasty. The team that takes care of you are truly what sets this apart! I miss all of them already. Contact the host if interested in touring the country and he can assist with some great tours! Highly recommended!

We were travelling with our two-year-old son and felt at home in our cabana from the first day. We had the large cabana and therefore plenty of space. The garden is beautifully landscaped and the pool, especially for toddlers, ideal. Breakfast was always freshly prepared and responded to all our requests. Steffie, Dilly and the full staff were beyond accommodating and super friendly. Our little one had great time with everyone. He has especially loved the garden, swimming pool and house dogs. It was a great thing to do. Peaceful location but still quickly on the beach with the TucTuc. Gladly again!

My Stay was incredible! The lake views were stunning, and the traditional charm of the place made for a unique and memorable stay. The stay was clean, spacious, and full of character. Highly recommend for a special getaway!

We had a lovely stay at Ingels villa. It is situated right on the beach and had a big lovely pool. My kids loved jumping into the pool right after breakfast. The villa staff were very friendly and we were spoilt with amazing meals. As we could not access the kitchen it would be helpful if there had been some more facilities in the common area, like toaster, microwave and cutlery. That would allowed us to more easily make some food for the kids between meal times. We had some strong winds during our stay which made the sea a bit too rough to swim in for my kids and elderly parents, for the adults it was great and lovely to stay on a beach that was so quite and peaceful. The villa manager Senaka arranged some amazing day trips for us with lots of great experiences for both adult and kids. Our only issue is that we had only 4 days at the villa and wish we had more time!
