Vacation rentals with a kayak in Kalkaska County

When we arrived Theresa greeted us and was very helpful. The house was beautiful with plenty of space. The location was perfect for what we were there for. Waking up each morning with the view we had was amazing. I would definitely recommend this home for a stay!!

Nice place, cozy, quiet & peaceful

The house was great and perfect for us. We brought our boat and being able to keep it on the private dock at the house for our whole stay was sooo convenient! .Such a short boat ride to the sandbar and public access to the sandbar literally across the street on foot. The house was clean and in great condition...just like the pics!! We plan to return next year!!

Great home and location, right near torch lake and the marina. Very peaceful, and beautiful views, especially at sunset. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Our family had a great time at the Captain's Cottage. It was a classic lake cottage. It was charmingly simple and had everything we needed. The small lake was perfect for swimming, paddling, and fishing for the kids. We also enjoyed the nearby Manistee River and a trip to Traverse City, an easy drive. We certainly will look to stay again when traveling to the area. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating.

We loved this house. It’s the perfect setting for a family getaway. We loved the lake activities; the paddle boat and kayaks were a huge hit with the kids. It rained two days we were there but our kids went out in the rain and swam like champs! We would love to return here! The lake is so beautiful!

We booked this stay for a relaxing weekend in northern Michigan and it was just that! William’s place was perfect. The location is beautiful and the house was very cozy. We could not have asked for more!

We had a great few days here! The space was plenty big for a few small families, and was exactly as we expected.

**Review of Our Stay at Teresa's AirB&B** If I could rate this place a 10, I absolutely would! From the moment we booked Teresa's AirB&B, my expectations were exceeded. I anticipated a simple house, but what we found was a fully stocked home that made us feel truly welcomed—perhaps I even overpacked! The cleanliness of the property was impressive; it looked exactly as depicted in the photos. We enjoyed a variety of activities, including kayaking and cozy bonfires in the backyard, which added to our memorable experience. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the proximity to the lake, just a few minutes away, made our stay even more enjoyable. We even drove up to Leland Mi “fish town” Overall, My 35th birthday was awesome! we had an amazing time and are already planning our return. Thank you, Teresa, for providing such a wonderful getaway! 😊

Great place to stay, this was our second time staying here and will def book again!

This is our second time staying at Laurie’s Airbnb and we love it. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the winter wonderland up there. Laurie is very communicative and very helpful. The place is comfy and we love that we can bring our dogs!

Great spot, exactly what we needed! It’s small and cozy, in a quiet area 10-15 minutes drive from anything you need. Smooth check in, clean spot, had whatever amenities you could think of. One thing: If you are taller than me (6’4) you may have some trouble with the bathroom. I made it work but were I an inch taller I wouldn’t have been able to fit for certain activities 😂

The Memory Maker was all that we hoped for and so much more. We had initially intended to find an Airbnb on Torch Lake but once we saw this place we booked it right away and it was the perfect choice. We still trailered the boat a quick ride to Torch for an adventure but spent the majority of our trick on Elk Lake and loved it. This Airbnb thought of everything and we wanted for nothing! We took our four adult children and their significants and our grandbaby and we all had plenty of room to enjoy our stay! Hank and Alaina

We lo ved our stay at the cottage. Spider Lake is lovely and very relaxing. Nikki was very communicative leading up to and during our stay. We would absolutely want to book it again .

The cottage was beautiful! With the lake outside the back door, and several outdoor spaces to relax in, this home would be a blast in the summer. We enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, and the cozy spots inside during a snow storm. It was perfect getaway, and look forward to coming back!

Our stay here was perfect for a girls weekend! It was exactly what we were expecting and the place was pristine! The beach was easy to access and the board games came in handy!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Very toddler friendly and the access to the water was perfect.

The cabin was perfect. So many useful amenities. Perfect for our family snowmobiling trip.

Wow — this was maybe the best AirBnB experience that I’ve had. Monica has done such a wonderful job with this cabin. It was pristine, peaceful, and in the most beautiful location. The cabin itself was exceptionally comfortable with everything we needed for comfort. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials and cooking utensils, with a great grill outside — we used it for most meals! The porch was almost with the entire value of the place itself, a perfect spot to sit and relax and enjoy the day. My dog was in LOVE with her surroundings, and we enjoyed many a walk down the long grassy lawn to the water where she swam and laid out in the sun on the dock (plus was put into a kayak successfully for the first time with moderate success!). Monica was an incredible host who has quite literally thought of everything to make the stay perfect. We hope to stay again in the future!

This is such a cute and cozy little cabin! There is a home nearby but with all of the trees it still is a very secluded and private stay. Just what we needed to relax and reset! Home is clean and all the little details and decorations seemed so thoughtful! There is so much to do even just at the cabin. From board games, corn hole, hot tub, or just hanging out around the fire pit or on the hammock, there is much to do between all the nearby adventures. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Jordan worked so well with us for our stay in our wedding weekend!! We loved our stay and plan to come back! The place is beautiful!

It was a great cabin with full of things provide to do to spend the days away from home. Enough to do for days we didnt have plans to enjoy some cards around the open fire or enjoy some time in the hot tub, or have a friendly game of corn hole
