We had a wonderful stay at this cosy and spotless family home. From the moment we arrived, Jue made us feel incredibly welcome, even going so far as to cook a meal for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Nairobi with plenty of great amenities within walking distance. The security guards were also very friendly and helpful, adding to the overall sense of comfort and ease. This truly felt like a home away from home, perfect for our little family. This is what Airbnb should be about! Highly recommended!

Fantastic place for a group getaway just a few minutes from the city centre. The place is even better than in the pictures and Charity was very responsive throughout the booking and stay.

It's a very lovely and green and quiet home in Karen - the place instantly makes you feel at peace. Enjoy being in nature but still close to Karen places. I have been there twice now and would definitely visit again!

Victoria and her Dad welcomed us warmly. Staying with them was like visiting old friends. We had such a lovely time with them. And they laid on a fantastic evening meal and breakfast. The place was clean and comfortable. Victoria and Papa went out of their way to welcome us into their home and make sure everything was just right for us. This is a great border stop. We also took the opportunity to visit Amboselli NP from there. The park is beautiful. The roads in and out need a health warning! 😅

A Hidden Gem in Karen – Full of Charm and Exceptional Hospitality. Our stay at Amani House was nothing short of memorable. Nestled in the peaceful, leafy neighborhood of Karen, the property is full of charm and character—every detail from the rustic decor to the lush gardens gives the house a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. What truly sets Amani House apart, though, is the hospitality. The staff were attentive and kind, going above and beyond to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. A special shoutout to Russell, who was not only gracious and helpful throughout our visit, but even came to the rescue when our car wouldn’t start. He helped us jump it without hesitation—a small act that meant a lot and reflects the spirit of this special place. If you’re looking for a serene, beautifully designed spot with heart and soul, Amani House is it. We’ll definitely be back.

I stayed here for 10 days in May 2025 for work. The flat was exactly as described. Very clean, well equipped, secure, and spacious. The hot water and internet worked well. It was cleaned every few days which was wonderful. I was able to do my laundry easily. The compound is very secure. It is a ground floor flat which looks out into the parking lot, so I don’t open the curtains very often. I was at work most of the time so this wasn’t an issue for me.

We had a wonderful stay! The self check-in process was incredibly easy, and the team was fantastic any time we had a concern, someone was sent over promptly and efficiently. We absolutely loved the apartment and if we had to choose again, we’d pick this place without hesitation. When we return to Kenya, if we’re not staying with this amazing team, we might not come at all they made us feel so welcomed. Our flight on checkout day was late at night, and when I mentioned it to Devlin, he graciously extended our checkout time. We truly appreciated that thoughtful gesture. He even stopped by to check in on us and ensure everything was perfect. They also surprised us with flowers, which was incredibly touching. There’s so much good to say about this wonderful team. Just know that if you stay here, you’re in excellent hands. Thank you so much!

Sam's unit is a great staging location to enjoy all that Nairobi has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The security staff were also very friendly and helpful. I recommend Sam's place as a great place for a couple visiting Nairobi.

It was a great stay overall. I would definitely stay again given the opportunity to come back. He manages multiple units so the one posted may not necessarily be the one you get; however I would think they are all similar to one another for the most part. Thanks for the cleanliness and simplicity.

Our Airbnb host was fantastic—proactive and quick to respond. Even though her house is tucked away in a serene and beautiful location, she provided clear and accurate directions, making it easy to find. She was readily available to ensure our check-in was smooth and hassle-free. During our stay, she checked in on us but also gave us the freedom to enjoy ourselves without any interruptions, even as a large group. We had a great stay at this rustic getaway! There are a few routes to get there, but going through Corner Baridi was the easiest...our 4x4s handled it just fine in light rain. The place has a charming, earthy feel, with each bedroom creatively themed after African kings, which added a nice touch of character. Brian, the housekeeper, was responsive and helpful throughout. For a small extra fee, they collected firewood and set up a lovely bonfire for us. The food was tasty, though the kitchen team seemed disorganized when the main chef wasn’t around, so timing was a bit off. Still, all things considered, it was great value for money. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, character-filled escape from the city.

The house is beautiful—just like in the photos! The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The views are stunning, and the experience was well worth the effort to get there. Google Maps estimated 1 hour and 15 minutes from the Junction, but it took us a little over 2 hours. We definitely wouldn’t have found the place without the help of a local boda boda rider, so do plan ahead. A high-clearance 4x4 is a must to reach the property comfortably. Vanessa was a wonderful host—very responsive and accommodating, especially since we were traveling with two very young children. She went out of her way to support us and made our stay so much smoother. We’d happily return and highly recommend this special spot to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with incredible views!

Really enjoyed our stay at Sebastian’s place. It is in a peaceful and scenic neighbourhood. The house feels lived in and has everything you need to enjoy a wonderful vacation. Grace was extremely helpful.

This is a fantastic house in a quiet and very green neighbourhood in Nairobi. The housekeeper Rose did a great job taking care of us (cleaning, laundry, etc) and a recommended driver picked us up from the airport. One night we had a chef cook dinner for us at home; it was delicious. We were 7 and with 4 bedrooms we did not feel on top of each other.
