House vacation rentals in Kaipara District

House was very well set up for families, it had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. There was plenty of space for all six of us. Everything was very clean and tidy, beds are super comfy. The pool was warm and the spa was clean and well maintained. Kids loved the outdoor lights and pools lights for night swims. Only 10mins to get to the beach and shops. Would definitely book again, thank you for being great hosts :)

It was a great stay and the hosts were very friendly and helpful to make sure we had everything we needed. Despite a couple of widespread power outages, the hosts still made sure our stay was as undisturbed as possible. And made sure we had power and a warm stay through bad weather. And they even offered for us to move or cancel before hand knowing the weather and the risks that we due.

We would thoroughly recommend Nicks place to anyone hoping to visit the beautiful Mangawhai Heads . The house is situated on a very peaceful street just a couple of minutes drive to the town with its many shops, absolutely fabulous for all the family to enjoy with pool . The owners responded very quickly with us when we and gave further information and were always so supportive through out our stay.Thanks

We loved this Ruakaka holiday home. It was so warm and homely with a perfect layout, super clean, comfy beds and we loved the set up of the garage. Even though the weather wasn't great, we jumped in the pool. This place would be so epic in summer. Sarah was the perfect host, super responsive.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Although the weather was a bit mixed, Myfanwy turned up the temperature on the pool which meant it didnt affect us - we were in the pool even in the rain :) The house and grounds were like a little Oasis with every fruit you could want and heaps of space for the kids to run around. We stayed with another family and had lots of space inside and out with the setting an entertainers dream. Myfanwy even left out some bubbles, chocolates, and local coffee beans which was a really nice touch. We loved our time and would love to return in the future.

I loved my stay at this Airbnb! The space was beautifully decorated—so stylish and thoughtfully designed with everything I needed. It felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet still convenient to explore the area. I slept so well thanks to how serene the neighborhood was. The host Karen and Craig were responsive, welcoming, and made sure I had a fantastic experience. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, chic retreat. Very private with lovely bush surrounding. Very friendly ducks. Well equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed to have a relaxing stay with our family of 5. Host was always available as well as the neighbour who helped clear the blocked driveway from a fallen tree due to cyclone Tam. It was an eventful stay but we enjoyed every minute of it and would definitely stay there again.

Raewyn is a fantastic host. She made our overnight stay just so easy. The room actually is much better than the photos. It was spotlessly clean, fresh, comfortable bed, comfortable couch and a great size TV. Very private and peaceful. Raewyn was very friendly, showed us in , and even gave us some homemade limoncello! The fridge was well stocked with milk, orange juice, chocolate, fejoas and ground coffee. We will definitely be booking again next time we are up in Mangawhai! Thankyou Raewyn for a perfect experience!

We stayed for a long weekend and loved the house and the location. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s even better in person, especially the amazing views! The house was a short walk to the beach and The Cove cafe. It was very clean, tidy and well appointed. The host was very flexible and accommodating which was appreciated. I would highly recommend and would happily stay again.

Exquisite location with incredible views. Anneke was a lovely host; very accommodating and responsive. Her cottage felt like home with all the added touches. Hard to say goodbye to this piece of paradise.

Francie’s place is a wonderful place to stay, it has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. We loved the short walk to Ruakaka beach - one of our favourite places! Francie was a fabulous host, very responsive to communication and so kind and accomodating to our children. We had a great time even through the weather bomb. We will be back :)

I absolutely loved everything about my stay at the Piki Cottage and can highly recommend it. It is so peaceful, private and relaxing, has everything you need, plus the hosts are so generous, friendly and quick responding. There are so many things to do in the surrounding area, or you can enjoy and explore this wonderful huge garden. I could have stayed forever. Thank you for everything!

Great little spot to relax and unwind. Easy access to Kaiwaka, Mangawhai and Waipu, but also a really comfortable place to just hang out in if you don't want to go out. Mike and Leonie are really lovely, very responsive and helpful, including in the middle of a power cut due to storms!

A great big house above the sea. Beautyfully furnished, very privat. Robyn is super nice, great communication and advice. We really felt at home. Would love to come back and stay a little longer. Fantastic beach for long walks just 2 Minutes walk from the house.

We’ve stayed at many Mangawhai properties and this is a new favourite. Perfect location between estuary and surf beach. Mama and baby slept in the main house and couple with fur child in the self-contained sleep out. Superking bed was a treat, although the mattress too soft for us. The fire place is cosy and the birdsong so tranquil. House is elevated and private but neighbours are still close. A group nearby partied at night but were quiet by 10pm. Leeanne was a responsive, friendly and helpful host. The house has a homely and welcoming vibe . We will stay again!

Went away for some R and R and it was the perfect spot. Was absolutely fantastic.

Great stay, very well stocked with all the right things and so spotlessly clean. Lovely view across to the hills, nice and handy to shops / amenities. Very accommodating given we booked night before.
