Condo vacation rentals in Kahului

Loved it! Great place with super easy walk to Mama's beach (very kid friendly swimming area). The back wall of the apartment is all windows so you can open it up to let the nice breeze in. We barely used the air conditioner because of this. It was the perfect spot for our first few days of exploring Maui. Right on the Hana Highway, if you're looking to do that drive. There's a little grocery store with prepared food/smoothies in walking distance that was very convenient and a short drive to the center of town with the rest of the shops and restaurants.

It was a gift to have a “home base” like this. We had a quick visit to Maui (4 days, 5 nights) so we packed our days with sight seeing. It was so peaceful to come back after adventurous days and sit on the lanai, open the screen door and listen to the waves, or go see the abundance of sea turtles right outside on the little beach. We were up early cooking and getting ready for the days, so it was really nice to have the fridge, stovetop/oven, and utensils/appliances so we could affordably cook and pack our meals for the road/long days. We prefer a firmer bed, but we were so tired we were grateful for a place to rest, even though it was a softer mattress. In the am/pm, it was cool with the breeze and didn’t need ac. We didn’t have time for the pool, but the area looked nice. Ron had a well stocked place, including beach/snorkel equipment. It was a great value for our visit and central (close to airport, West, South, East, upcountry) for everything we wanted to do. Thanks for having us!

We had the best time in Maui staying at Jean’s place and everything was exactly as described on air bnb. The condo was in the perfect location just down the street from Napili bay and Kapalua bay which we spent tons of time at lounging and snorkelling. It felt like a home away from home during our stay and if we ever get the chance we’d love to stay at Jeans place again in the future! The views from the Lanai were absolutely stunning and the trade winds cooled off the unit perfectly we didn’t even end up using the AC unit once during our entire trip. The sound of the waves at night was a dreamy experience and we were blown away with the overall experience. 10/10 stay in unit 201! Thanks again Jean!

Joseph’s place was cute and cozy! It was clean and comfortable. The location was great, too — away from the big crowds, but close enough to do touristy things. You also see lots of sea turtles right outside the condo! Joseph’s place also has everything you could need for a beach day!

Our 12 days at Bin’s Airbnb were amazing. It’s hard to put into words how breaktaking the view from the studio & the lanai is. Lush lawn, swaying palms, azure ocean, and a majestic island view. We had an immersive experience with ocean, as day & night we heard the sound of the waves. Bin’s place provides beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear & boogie board, which makes it an excellent return on your vacation dollars. Bin is the best host I’ve had on Airbnb, he replaced a broken beach chair immediately, & had more towels delivered to the studio. There is some overflow from the Gazebo restaurant, as the studio is a stones throw away, that did get annoying after the first 5 days, as people left chairs and loungers on the lawn in front of the studio. The resort really needs to manage this issue. Other than that, you would never want to leave and go back home, so maybe it’s a positive!

Wonderful stay! Great location, quiet with ocean views, and a lovely breeze that really does mean no A/C necessary. Jennifer was super responsive and the place was perfect for us.

Had a great time at Karma’s place. Very clean upon arrival. Flexible check in time (our flight landed earlier than scheduled). Private beach area. Saw sea turtles almost every morning. Close to some restaurants and shops in Kihei, and not terribly far from the more “touristy” areas like Lāhainā and Kaanapali. Karma was very friendly and responsive and gave clear instructions on how to check in and out. Thank you for having us!

This is truly a hidden gem. The condo building is quite small with only 3 floors, no elevator, and sits directly on the beach. It seems that it is part of a neighborhood rather than a commercially developed area. A neighbors, who rents every year, shared the walk ability to a restaurant and wine bar literally around the corner. The pool was spotless with an abundance of chaise lounges. In short, the location is fabulous. The unit was also a find. It was as shown in the pictures, very clean, and well appointed. Being on the 2nd floor it afforded a stunning view. We truly wanted for nothing. Patrick was wonderful to work with being personable, responsive and helpful from the very beginning. The only down side is the heat in the bedroom. It was intolerably hot for sleeping as there is no a/c in this room. There is a pull out sofa bed in the LR that we seriously considered. We opted to freeze in the LR in order to try to sleep in the BR. All in, it was a great place!! Highly recommend!

The perfect spot to stay for an adventure filled Maui vacation. It is centrally located on the island where there are multiple food trucks, restaurants, and a grocery store in walking distance. The place is at an intersection of 2 somewhat busy streets but the street traffic was not heard inside. The apartment owner has a big map of Maui hanging up with about 20 suggested locations to visit which we found to be very useful as we did a 5-day self-guided tour of the island. I would stay here again for future Maui vacations.

Misti was a wonderful host. Very responsive to any questions or queries we had. Great location with many amenities and restaurants within a short walking distance. And the King bed was quite comfortable and greatly appreciated. Most 1 bd/1ba condos on Maui utilize a queen size bed for some reason. Would book again anytime

this is the best Airbnb on the island! amazing neighborhood close to everything! it felt safe and had a hometown feel. everyone was so friendly. the place itself had everything we needed and the view was incredible! much better than the picture! when our host realized we didn't have beach towels he made sure some were delivered and we were thrilled to come back and see like 6 brand new thick beach towels!! having the washer and dryer in the unit made things so easy too! can't say enough great things about this place and the hosts ! we will be booking here for our next trip! 10/10 recommend!

Gary's place is beautiful! The description on the listing does not do it justice. The Nanea is a dream resort with everything you need. I would stay here again, without hesitation.

Over all it’s a good place to stay. It’s just we can hear the people at the connecting room.

This place is an absolute oasis. The freedom to walk a mere few steps directly into the Pacific Ocean was bliss. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth every dollar and I definitely intend to return some day. Highly recommend.

Place was exactly as described. Laurie went above and beyond to give recommendations and instructions. We loved having the kitchen, in unit washer and dryer, beach chairs and cooler. Once we arrived we didn’t need a thing. Would definitely stay here again.

Barbara was wonderful. Gave good instructions on how to enter the property. There are elevators, so don’t feel you have to lug your luggage up three flights like we did. BE SURE your rental can clear six feet to enter the parking structure. Any issues were met with prompt solutions, many times going above what was expected. The view from the condo was incredible!! We chose to stay in the second room as we could see sunrise WHILE LAYING IN BED!! You WILL view sea turtles just off the lanai every single day, especially during high tide. Two couples can stay comfortably, however, there is only one stand up shower (other is a tub/shower without doors). Bedrooms are right next to each other & second bedroom closes off as a room with an accordian wall. The list of recommendations were on point & we found ourselves going to Cafe Ole every chance we had. The plantation around Cafe Ole was beautiful. Great spot to walk around, eat, and shop for gifts and local food. We highly recommend.

The condo layout is wonderful. Two bedrooms with two bathrooms is perfect for two women friends traveling together. The sunrises that are seen from the lanai are beautiful and we got some fantastic pictures. We saw sea turtles every afternoon when they came in to feed off the rocks right in front of the condo! I went down to the waters edge and would watch them for a long time. The location was lovely, and we walked to the harbor, Starbucks, and the aquarium. The food trucks in Kehei are excellent. We would definitely stay again.

The apartment is very nice and has all the amenities you need for a great stay, as well as lovely extras such as a yoga mat. The kitchen was very well appointed and the bathroom had plenty of towels. We really appreciated the beach gear such as chairs, umbrella and towels. Our only issue is that we had trouble with the lock. We couldn't open the door, and had to contact Tracy, who responded immediately and explained we needed to pull the door very firmly toward us while entering the code. These instructions were included in the check in but we didn't really "get" it. Tracy was very kind and responsive, The beach umbrella had a rib broken and kept flying upwards, but Tracy had it replaced for us as soon as we let her know. She's the best! Thank you Tracy! Plenty of restaurants and dinner options close by, which is very convenient. In the other hand, the apartment is above a busy street, so the view was nice, but not 100% peaceful. Overall, a great place!

The location was central to everything, making it so easy to get to all our planned activities and food spots. Whether heading to the Road to Hana, hanging at the beaches or having dinner, this Airbnb made it all convenient. The space itself was well-equipped, just the right size for two. While it may not be ideal for a group of 3, it had everything we needed, plus an unbeatable ocean view that made every morning feel magical. On top of all that, the host Sarah and Joe were incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring our stay was smooth and enjoyable. 10 stars if we could give them! We absolutely loved our week here and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located stay in Maui. Mahalo!!

Great hosts! Very proactive and communicated very well. Super easy to get into the space after a long travel day. The place was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. They had supplied all the beach equipment we needed for a great stay and to help save money on renting supplies. It was a very nice place and we would love to stay again!

What an incredible location in Kahana! This corner unit condo at Valley Isle Resort sits right on top of the water. Every morning, I sat on the balcony drinking my coffee and watching the sea turtles directly below float in the water. I also saw multiple whales (sadly it wasn't until we were packing up did I find the binoculars on the tv stand). The condo also had direct access to the beach. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, laundry in the unit, and beach essentials (chairs, towels, cooler) were available.
