Vacation rentals with breakfast in Kagoshima

Megumi was truly one of the best hosts I’ve ever had. She genuinely cares about her guests and goes above and beyond to make sure they feel at home. On our last day, she kindly offered to drive us to the train station in the pouring rain and even surprised us with a homemade cake. Her home is beautiful, and she is a kind, thoughtful person. She gave us great local recommendations and generously let us borrow her bikes to explore the area. Her breakfasts were absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. If you’re looking for a place to stay, I highly recommend choosing Megumi’s home.

What a delightful place to stay. Lileth and her husband are very special people - so genuine in their welcome and desire for you to enjoy Kagoshima. Lileth’s accomodation is the essence of what an Airbnb should be. We had our own private space with beautiful areas to relax, but our host was on hand to help out with any questions or to just talk about each other’s lives. And how wonderful to be served a delicious breakfast every morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lileth’s - it will be a very special memory for us.

Mina is a wonderful host! She picked me up at the station by her car, guided me to onsen and delicious restaurants. I enjoyed her carefully prepared Japanese breakfast. Her place is in a quite environment. There is a bicycle with which you can ride to the seaside or explore the countryside. I highly recommend Minas Airbnb.

Super nice and cozy Appartement with sea view and balcony. Everything what you need is there and very very clean. The bus stop is in front of the Appartement so that you can easy go by Bus to explore Yakushima even without a car. Anbo can be reached in arround 20 min and there are various Restaurants as well as a supermarket and the Ferry Port. The Hosts are amazing and so supportive and the breakfast or bento boxes were super yummi. We enjoyed our stay a lot and can highly recommend this place. Thanks a lot

A gem of an Airbnb, run by the loveliest, kindest, and generous hosts. Tomoko san and Isao san treated me more like a member of their family, than a guest! We had fun conversations, drank shochu together, sang songs, and they generously shared their dinner with me. Tomoko san makes an amazing breakfast, and we had it together looking at the beach from the warm living room. Isao san took me out to some neighboring attractions and showed me his work raising bees. Tomoko san packed me a snack pack for my long journey to Hiroshima, which was delicious. I chose the ocean view room. Waking up to a beautiful sunrise bouncing off the water was a special highlight of the stay. If you have the opportunity to stay here, you should take it!

滞在前のレスポンスが早く、大変助かりました。 滞在中には常に明るく声をかけてくださり、素敵な雰囲気の中で落ち着いた時間を過ごすことができました。 朝食もとても美味しく、大満足です😊

Ayumi is super friendly and helpful (and makes delicious breakfast!). The room was very comfortable with good air conditioning and a really powerful shower. Plenty of free parking and close to Anbo for supermarket and restaurants. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Ayumi!

The guesthouse was really nice. The room was maybe a bit small for two people with luggage but since we spent most of our time exploring the island that wasn’t a problem. The option to get lunch boxes is amazing! There are also shoe driers. We definitely needed them after hiking in the rain. It is a bit further away from Anbo but it is still a distance you could walk. You can also take the bus. The bus station (Isobe) is really close. We just couldn’t find it on the bus plan but it is two stations before Gouchoumae I think. There is a sushi restaurant and a small supermarket nearby. Also quite near there is a restaurant called pasta katagirisan which has tasty and cheap food. There are also shoe driers in case you need them. The hosts were really welcoming. I’d definitely come back again.

I had a very nice stay in this Air BnB. I was looking for a place to stay one more night in Yakushima after having checked out from another place which I had stayed. The staff were very polite and kind. They also have some breakfast and meal options for those looking to have something to eat before heading out on early morning Yakushima hiking. There is a nearby supermarket minutes away for those wanting to take food with them for Yakushima hikes as well. The staff explained everything clearly and were available for any questions. Yakushima is truly a beautiful island full of beautiful nature. Thank you for your kindness during my stay!
