Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Kåfjord Municipality

We stayed at Mikals place for 8 days ski-touring in the Kåfjord and Lyngen area. When touring on Lyngen we took the ferry over to Lyngseidet, but we also did several tours from the Kåfjord side where there are many options. The house felt quite large and we had no problem fitting 5 people. Also the view from the house is fantastic.

La casa me llamó la atención desde el primer momento que vi las fotos y la realidad no decepcionó. Es súper acogedora, los muebles mid-century los querría yo para mi casa y se nota que está reformada, decorada y vivida con muchísimo cariño. No le falta detalle: la cocina completísima con todo lo necesario, productos de aseo en los baños (desde pasta de dientes hasta suavizante) y encima un jacuzzi en la terraza! Sin duda es el lugar perfecto para regresar después de un día en la nieve. La casa está muy bien situada para hacer esquí de travesía en Kafjord y a 3 minutos en coche del ferry para cruzar a los Alpes de Lyngen. Tanto Nina como Hakon han estado muy pendientes y han contestado rapidísimo a nuestras dudas sobre la casa y preguntas sobre los alrededores. Además nos dieron total flexibilidad tanto a la entrada como a la salida, lo que nos permitió disfrutar de un día más de esquí. Un 10 a la casa y a los anfitriones.

Meillä oli upea hiihtoloma Jeanneten mökissä. Kohde oli juuri sellainen kuin kuvauksessa, siisti ja erittäin tilava. Olihuoneessa oli erittäin mukava sohvaryhmä, josta pystyi katsomaan urheilua ja elokuvia valtavalta tv-ruudulta. Keittiö oli hyvin varusteltu ja sieltä löytyi useampikin kahvikone. Puusauna oli todella iso plussa, vaikkakin se oli kooltaan melko pieni (max 3 henkilöä). Jeannette oli erinomainen majoittaja, jonka kanssa kommunikoiminti toimi poikkeuksellisen tehokkaasti alusta loppuun. Toivottavasti pääsemme palaamaan myös ensi vuonna samaan paikkaan!

Brilliant stay, although not optimal weather during whole week we used the time absolutely perfect. The House was absolutely acc to our expectations maybe even better. We felt like at home.

Sehr schönes Haus. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Kamin. Perfekt zum Aufwärmen nach der Skitour.

Super séjour dans la cabane de Robert ! Robert et sa femme on été accueillants et réactifs. La cabane était agréable et très bien située pour le ski ! La vue est magnifique et nous avons même vu un troupeau d'élans juste à côté. Encore merci !

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cet hébergement. Nous y sommes allés en hiver et le dépaysement est total. Le fait que les commodités sont limitées en hiver (pas d’eau courante, douche au seau) rend l’expérience encore plus unique. La cheminée dans la pièce principale et la vue magnifique sont deux atouts à ne pas négliger. De plus, l’hôte est très réactive et donne de bons conseils. Il y a aussi un grand nombre d’équipements et d’accessoires disponibles dans l’hébergement. Attention tout de même à l’accès à la cabane qui peut être compliqué selon la quantité de glace et de neige sur le chemin. Nous repartons de ce séjour les étoiles plein les yeux et reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Toller Aufenthalt in der Hütte. Wir hatten eine unglaublich schöne Woche in Lyngen. Der Blick auf den Fford ist einfach traumhaft. Wir waren zum Skitourengehen da. Das lohnt sich wirklich sehr. Allerdings schlägt das Wetter ziemlich schnell um, deshalb sollte man seine Touren eher zurückhaltend planen. Wer im Winter das Haus nutzt sollte sich unbedingt ein Allradauto mieten. Es geht ziemlich steil den Berg hoch. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

Die Lage ist traumhaft mit Blick auf den Fjord in einer sehr ruhigen Umgebung mit wenig Lichtverschmutzung falls es Nordlichter gibt. Wer mag, kann fußläufig die nördlichste Destillerie besuchen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Für Fragen war Sara immer schnell über die Nachrichtenfunktion erreichbar. Der Schlüsselcode wurde mehr als rechtzeitig übermittelt und es wurde sogar gefragt, welches Schlafzimmer wir benutzen möchten. Selten so eine/n zuvorkommende/n Vermieter/in gehabt. Jederzeit wieder.

it was a great 2 days stop on the route back to Narvik. the view from the garden was great, with the sea and the glaciars. it was perfect to relax and enjoy. 2 baths in the sea from Heidi and Tom s beach. just perfect. we will come back in winter!

The place was very cute and sauna was definitely a bonus. The view was spectacular. It was very easy to communicate with Bjørn. Cars come with speed around the corner so have to be careful when leaving the yard with a car.

Fantastic cabin. Awesome host. Close to incredible skiing and ice climbing. Thanks for the lovely stay Renate. Would have loved to have stayed longer. Next time!
