Cabin vacation rentals in Kaaterskill Falls

Excellent getaway in the woods for family, friends and dog-friendly! Checking-in and getting settled was a breeze! After touring the inside and outside of the property, I knew I’d have no shortage of activities and amenities provided by the host, as advertised. I spent half the week free and the other half working from the cabin. No inconvenience whatsoever for me or my dog and guest. We made the most of the movie and game room, listened to vintage records, got a great workout in on some downtime, and relaxed in the evening with great star viewing. Minutes away from great hiking at Minnewaska State Park where you can easily access Lake Awosting and waterfall, Napanoch point lookout, the Shawangunk Mountain trails and more. Good local eating at spots like Main and Mill, a dog-friendly restaurant/cafe. Can’t recommend this location enough and Stacy was gracious and responsive in communication throughout.

We love staying at this peaceful and idyllic cabin. The property is very well maintained and true in character to its beautiful surroundings. We love the log fire, the hot tub and the beautiful garden full of wildlife. The area has plenty to do including great farmers markets, distillery with pizza truck and lots of walking and much more.

Beautiful house and interior. The house was clean and well prepared. The basement is an entertainment hub. The weekend we visited was cold but the fireplace inside the house and fire pit outside made the weekend enjoyable and fun. Very pet friendly. Our dog had a great time exploring the woods while we in the hot tub. Amazing place to have a chill weekend with friends and loved ones.

Highly recommend, beautiful cabin with great amenities! We enjoyed our stay here and would come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Margot’s place in the beautiful Catskill Mountain area of Hunter, NY. The house was spotless, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend with the family. We truly loved the serene surroundings and the comfort of the home—it felt like the perfect getaway. Margot was a great host, and we’d definitely book again without hesitation!

A wonderfully relaxing place to stay. The hot tub and sauna are wonderful, as is the bedroom with the view of the mountains. We plan to come back soon.

This was our second time staying at Rashmi‘s property and it was just as great as we remembered. The kitchen is fully stocked so we were able to make dinner at home, the views were amazing and it was so nice to hang out by the fire pit at night. Our dogs loved the backyard and there was a great farm stand just down the road. Rashmi was super responsive and flexible. She is an awesome host and we hope to book another stay soon!

This my third time back to Ellen’s cabin. It’s great place for a weekend in the Catskills. The property is beautiful and very private. The area surrounding the cabin is equally as beautiful. I plan to come back for many years to come.

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed, even instructions in case of bad weather. We felt so comfortable and relaxed during our stay. We would absolutely recommend staying here for a weekend getaway! Thanks so much to Kelsey for everything!

Yannick's place was a fantastic place to stay in the Catskills! It's located in an ideal location close to hiking, breweries, restaurants, etc. The house itself is clean and well decorated and they provide pretty much everything you need. My only gripe would be that there is no microwave (however, this is noted in the listing, so it was not a surprise); while I don't mind heating things up the old school way on a stove, there are certain things that just heat better in a microwave. And if a microwave is not provided, at least have some better nonstick pans (they were a bit of a pain bc everything stuck to them). In addition, it was hard to actually get to the stream (I think things were just overgrown and maybe it needs a trim back). But the beds are SO comfortable and overall the property is very serene, especially driving over the little bridge to the house with the stream. I would definitly recommend the place to anyone. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

We recently stayed at Tina's and had a great time. The location is secluded, incredibly peaceful and quiet — all you can hear are the birds in the morning. The home itself is clean and looks just like the photos. We also loved that we could bring our dog along with us. We live in the city so our pup doesn't get to touch much grass, and he had a blast running through the fenced-in yard. Although we originally booked because the house has a pool and we were hoping for good weather, it rained almost the entire time we were there... Nonetheless, it felt like the coziest home for a rainy weekend, and we really enjoyed our stay. We loved sitting inside by the fire to watch a movie, cooking in the kitchen and building a fire outside when the rain stopped. The location was also great for driving into Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Hudson and surrounding breweries and wineries.

John was a very welcoming and kind host :) He gave us a warm introduction when we arrive and great recommendations The house is immaculately clean, beautiful, comfy and overall very comfy All you can think you need is in the house Some deers came to say hi too! 5 stars all around! This house is super cozy, clean and well kept. Perfect for the two of us and our dog. Loved the giant front yard and mountain view that was visible from inside the house too! The covered deck was really great for both working outdoors and relaxing. The wood-burning pizza oven is a cute touch, we had fun making our own pizzas. Kitchen was well stocked for us to cook in as well. Location was nice and private but still a close enough drive away from grocery/hiking/restaurants. The hosts were accommodating with early check-in, communicative and had lots of recs in their guidebooks. Would highly recommend this home!

This is one of my favorite Airbnb’s. Charming, cozy, and peaceful—truly a gem. Jolene goes above and beyond as a host. I highly recommend this guest house if you’re looking for an enchanting getaway.

We had a lovely stay at the Paradise Cabin! The house as well as the property was beautiful, cozy, clean, and very thoughtfully put together. We had everything we needed and more for a wonderful and relaxing time. Gabi and Sam were both responsive and helpful. Can’t wait to return for another stay in the future! :)

The house is very cozy and beautiful and very close to the downtown where there are a plenty of good coffee shops and places to eat. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating. They treated us to free coffee at their nearly Korean coffee place. I highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy one-bedroom cabin, it was absolutely perfect for a couple’s getaway. The space was clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to extra blankets. The thoughtful touches throughout made it feel like a true home away from home. We really appreciated the peaceful surroundings and attention to detail. We stayed a few nights in May. Mark's placed was clean and comfortable. The Balsam Lake Mountain trail is nearby and the views at the top are worth the 3hr round trip. The place is near the road but we counted only a few cars during our stay! Very peaceful. There are some delightful food options within easy drive, or stay home and cook in the well provisioned kitchen.

This is a lovely cabin, very cozy and nicely decorated. Beautiful surroundings and the view amazing. It was easy to check in and we were greeted with cookies and eggs from the farm up the road. Very nice! And we loved the little kids play nook! Communication with the host was great and she was very responsive. The two beds were comfortable but the futons were not. We had to have the kids sleep on the two futons due to the size of our group and thought it would be ok but I don't think those futons should be considered for sleeping. They were very hard and the surface was not even. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and would recommend this cabin.

We had a delightful time during our annual Memorial Day Catskills trip. Katie's cabin is beautifully decorated. You can tell it's the home of a photographer - every corner is picture perfect. The color scheme and charm of the cabin is gorgeous, and the skylights illuminated the space so nicely in the mornings and throughout the day. Wet weather kept us from spending too much time in the outdoor living spaces, but the indoor space was so lovely, we didn't mind staying in at all. Katie was an accommodating host and checkout was a breeze. Thank you, Katie, and to everyone else - enjoy your stay at one of the most charming places you'll find for your Catskills getaway!

Elisabeth's cabin, "THE NICHE ON THE NOTCH - LE SPOT" on Diamond Notch Rd provided wonderful mountain views, a stream on the property and the sounds of nature to satisfy your senses. Located halfway between Phoenicia and Hunter mountain, the cabin was a short drive to many surrounding towns to explore, have a snack or a lunch after your hike along the many local steams and lakes. The cabin was nice and cozy, providing all the comforts a hiker would need during an early spring stay. Our host offered and provided all the answers and support a guest might need. Thank you Elisabeth, My son and I had a wonderful experience together every day at your cabin at the foot hills to great hiking on Diamond Notch Road. We are planning to see you again. MB.

Loved my stay here! My dog is reactive and it was so nice to have a space she could be let off leash without worry. The views are beautiful. It’s just a 10 minute drive to town. Looking forward to coming back here in the near future.
