Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a log villa completed in 2022 in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and airy. Downstairs there is one bedroom and a living room/kitchen. There is also plenty of space and sleeping places in the loft. A new lakeside sauna was built at the cottage in the summer of 2026. The cottage has all the modern conveniences, and the large windows offer a magnificent lake view in two directions. It's nice to watch the northern lights and listen to the silence in the warmth of the fireplace. Welcome!

Rakkaranta, D - talo. Beach House

Ukkohalla, one of the four villas of the new holiday village on the shore of Lake Syväjärvi, near the ski slopes. The lake, northern lights and slopes open directly from the large windows. In a separate beach sauna, you can enjoy a wood-fired sauna, with a view of the lake landscape from the large windows, both from the sauna and the magnificent fireplace room. The service building has a laundry room and a fitness room. Electric car charging points, 2 pcs 11kW type2 and 2 pcs 16A Super suko, are included in the rental price.

A neat, renovated studio apartment!

Tidy and spacious, just renovated studio with relevant equipment. The studio is located right in the middle of the village, but is a quiet apartment on the courtyard side. Good sleep is guaranteed by a 120 cm wide bed and a 120 cm sofa bed with a thick mattress topper. Parking space with electric poles. Bedding and towel fee 10 euros/person. Pets are allowed in the apartment under agreed-upon conditions. We use neutral detergents. We can't guarantee a completely fragrance-free property. Welcome to your stay!

Villa Salme: Cozy lakeside logcabin+private beach

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!

Come and relax in the unique Ukkohalla. The cottage is located a stone's throw from all activities. Ski slopes, Ukkohalla's sauna world and Wakerada are a 5-minute walk away. Ski slopes and sledding tracks 150m away. Not suitable for people with reduced mobility. The reason is the steep stairs leading downstairs.
