A nest in the mountains

Tucked on a wild fertile mountain a 400 year old barn was renovated by artists with natural materials. It is crooked, it is colourful, it is wild and will throw you in an another universe for the time of your stay. You have to be nimble on your feet as the tiny access path is crooked and on a slope, and even the floor in the house tilted. A full immersion in a new world for total disconnection.

It was my great good fortune to find this little gem of a place and just as much the host Paloma who together with her husband Gorka went above and beyond that of a host helping out directly to secure advance bus tickets. The location itself being close to two major cities Vitoria Gasteiz and Bilbao is serviced by the said bus so Murgia itself running parallel to the main highway was the ideal spot to base myself whilst attending the Europa League Final. The self contained room itself was fantastic, spotlessly clean throughout with a wonderfully comfy bed to crash out on. If you'd seen the scenes at Bilbao bus station after the match you'd know just how lucky I was to have this 'Home From Home' to come back to. The fully stocked mini fridge was a lovely touch, all there for my personal consumption and partaken of ? .. Yes!!. A great bathroom off the main room gave me the chance to freshen up over my two night stay. Communication with Paloma was brilliant. What a host. Thank You

Everything was fantastic. The communication with Francisco, the perfect, spacious and clean room, with an en-suite bathroom, which makes it very comfortable. He left me breakfast in the morning, which is a nice touch, and a lot of tranquility, which was perfect for resting before my exam. I was able to park nearby. Thank you for all Francisco

Everything's great, nothing to object to. Accommodation located 14 minutes walk from the bus station and also very close to the historic center. Block with elevator. The host was always attentive to any messages I could send him.
