Kid-friendly vacation rentals in José Santos Guardiola

Un lugar maravilloso para disfrutar y descansar en familia. Con una vista fantástica. Lejos del ruido y de la multitud. Realmente nos sentimos en casa y disfrutamos mucho de la tranquilidad, los atardeceres y de la naturaleza. Volveriamos a este lugar sin dudarlo.

La casa de playa de Ryan es un lugar muy bonito, relajante y tranquilo. Todo estaba bastante limpio, está muy bien equipado (juegos de mesa, suficientes toallas, electrodomésticos, utensilios para cocinar, Kayaks, etc), los aires acondicionados funcionan muy bien. Tiene una excelente vista al mar, sin embargo hay que tener en cuenta que no se puede bañar en el área que está frente a la casa, ya que es poco profundo (el agua llega a los tobillos), pero si usas los kayaks y avanzas unos 100 metros a la derecha, puedes nadar en el área de los manglares, donde el nivel del agua es más profundo, color azul turquesa. También mencionar que Ryan siempre estuvo atento sobre nuestra estadía y Kendra es una persona muy amable, nos obsequió unas ricas donas hechas en casa, que estaban deliciosas. Definitivamente recomiendo este alojamiento y espero volver pronto.

The stay at Todd and Lori’s was something out of a DREAM! The upstairs balcony is stunning and always has a great breeze so you’re never too hot! The rooms were clean and spacious. Everything you need is there snorkel gear to kitchen utensils. It’s close to many things off the beaten path which makes it perfect so you don’t run into too many people! Delicious food is right around the corner too!

La casa es tal y como esta en las fotos, limpia, equipada y en un lugar privilegiado, con acesso a playa a pocos minutos. El lugar perfecto para desconectarse de todo. Solo hay que tomar en cuenta que el camino tiene un pedazo de terraceria, y por la ubicacion recomendio rentar carro y de preferencia uno alto.

Savoir quelle vue ! Construction récente dans un coin très tranquille retiré du tourisme . La piscine est magnifique, la terrasse parfaite. C'est suffisamment grand et Mirka a pris soin de me demander mon choix de chambre pour les enfants avant notre arrivée. Le logement était propre. Il est très bien équipé . Il y a même des serviettes de plages et des tapis de yoga Il y a deux à trois chiens qui viennent vous saluer . Ils ne sont pas méchants mais aiment manger les sandales si vous les laissez dehors. Nous avons adoré notre séjour, merci Mirka pour votre disponibilité . On regrette déjà de ne pas être resté chez nous !

Living Waters Casita was a beautiful place to escape to the beach and enjoy the solitude of Roatan's east end. The drive from Coxen Hole is somewhat challenging but what we expected for Caribbean islands. The Casita is gorgeous, only 150' to the beach. There are 4 local restaurants within walking distance. Lany (on site maintenance) was responsive and helpful to all our questions and needs. Both Sheri and Blaine were also responsive to concerns. The east end is great for relaxing, beach activities, bird watching, and watersports, otherwise there are very few other attractions/activities.

El lugar es precioso, despertar y ver el mar en frente es maravilloso! Luke es un 7 como persona y como cara visible del lugar, se portó muy bien y nos ayudó siempre. Si se quieren desconectar se los recomiendo 100%

The home is even more stunning in person than in the photos. The master bedroom is spacious and gorgeous, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The downstairs bedrooms are a bit darker, but our kids didn’t mind at all—they absolutely loved their space. One of the highlights of our trip was being able to snorkel right off the front of the house, which was an amazing experience. We also booked a snorkeling trip with Joe, who picked us up right from the house by boat and took us to swim with nurse sharks—an unforgettable adventure! The road leading to the house is unpaved, but we had no trouble getting there in a small SUV—just take it slow. The airport is about 30 minutes away, and Eldon’s grocery store is a convenient 15-minute drive. Dave, the property manager, was always nearby and super helpful whenever we needed anything.

I booked Gabriel and Nildas place because I was interested in Camp Bays kitesurfing classes. I am so happy that I ended up staying with them! From thew moment I arrived until the day I left they were communicative helpful and treated me like a close friend. Throughout the week Nilda and Gabriel gave me information about the local history on the island which was awesome (Im a history nerd)! Their dog had such an amazing personality and I saw all three of them at least once a day. They have made an incredible effort to give back to the land and their community on the East side of the island! I am very fortunate to be able to stay with them and plan to return soon! Thanks for the great trip! You all made it one for the books!

Caribe bight is a great area of the island. Serene, quiet (although there was a house being constructed in the area 😁) and very close to the water. Our host was outstanding in providing access to the property, as we arrived a few hours earlier from the airport. The property was just as described and is perfect if you plan on spending your days enjoying outside and relaxing in the evening on the huge porch while grilling your meal! We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Windwood Serenity at Caribe Bight was a great experience. Such a beautiful setting with lots of great views and breezes! Being able to snorkel and kayak right from the dock was fantastic. Nancy and Phil were the best hosts, very responsive and accommodating to requests. Very eager to share their knowledge of the local restaurants, dive shops and other things on the island. Truly nice people! :) Being on the mid-east side of the island, the roads are rather rough so if your driving be ready for a few bumps. And make sure you have at least a mid-size SUV or even better a 4WD if your continuing even further east to Camp Bay Beach. Overall a wonderful trip and stay at Windwood and would absolutely stay there again. Looking forward to our next visit already!

Jessica's house was nice and clean and we felt right at home. She has all the basics needed for basic cooking for your stay. The location was peaceful and was walking distance to many dive shops, restaurants and gift shops. perfect area if you do not have a rental car. would stay here again.

We had a great week at this condo! Vanessa was extremely responsive to all questions. She arranged our pick up at the airport which was very helpful. The condo was spacious for our family of four and the pool was a great amenity. We loved taking a water taxi to the Mayan Princess in West Bay to enjoy the beach and pool. Snorkeling was amazing right off the beach! The condo was a short walk to all of the great restaurants in West End. There are a lot of steps to get up to the condo so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. Like some others said, the linens & decor could use a refresh but overall we had a great stay and would recommend.

We just spent 9 blissful nights at Ada’s amazing place. The location is exactly where you want to be in West End and the snorkeling just a few steps from our room was truly unbelievable. Just make sure to wear a buoy (she provides one too) so you don’t get run over by a water taxi. Ada is a super responsive host and gets back to any questions super quickly. She even arranged pick up from the airport for us! Her property manager Angel, is super sweet and helpful. They provide 5 gallon jugs of purified water which is seriously amazing. We went thru one every 2-3 days during our stay. The towels are fresh and fluffy and they even do your personal laundry for free! The only regret you will have staying with Ada is that you have to eventually leave. We hope to stay with them again very soon. Seriously. It’s a perfect vacation and steps from Roatan Divers who I also highly recommend!

Bills place is beautiful and so well equipped. We had amazing coffee, every spice and kitchen utensil, towels. Cold cups- cooler- way more than expected. The views were incredible, great restaurants within walking distance- definitely no car needed. We will definitely be back- nice pool and so responsive- really wonderful experience!

Staying at Wanda’s place was a great experience. The 2 bed, 2 bath condo was spacious, clean, and comfortable with plenty of room to relax. We especially loved having a full kitchen to cook breakfast and prep snacks throughout the day. The view overlooking the pool was a bonus and made mornings even more peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

Patti’s Paradise was wonderful! From the moment we checked in we felt right at home. We loved the location, tucked in among the trees, peaceful and very private. We were visited by birds (and lizards) of many different species. We spent hours relaxing and dining in the screened in porch, and we didn’t see many biting insects, even on the beach! It is a bit remote, we would recommend a car rental. We snorkelled off the dock every day! There were many different species of fish and the coral is healthy and colourful as well. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to cook and the house was clean and comfortable. It was great for our family of four to stretch out and have family time while still having our own spaces for privacy. The host was responsive and very helpful with any questions we had, and the self check-in and other instructions were clear and easy to follow. We are already planning our return!

Can’t say enough about our 2 week stay at Iron Shores. Katy and Krys were amazing, always so responsive and willing to help us with arranging transportation and anything else we needed. The unit is perfectly situated in a very safe, quiet and beautiful area, yet only an easy 5 minute walk to all the restaurants, dive shops and things that tourists like to do. Several excellent restaurants just 1 minute walk away especially Cafe de Palo for their amazing breakfasts. Loved Junior’s Pizza too…definitely the best pizza around. We mostly had the beautiful pool (perfectly situated on the oceanfront) to ourselves and you can also snorkel right out front. The kitchen was well stocked, as was the bathroom which included lovely shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Their recommendation of Sundivers for scuba was spot on…love those folks! We limited our use of the A/C to overnight since there’s mostly a great breeze blowing through so it didn’t end up costing much for the hydro which was great.
