Shoal Bay sits on a remote island, completely off grid. Here we generate our own electrical power through a system of solars panels and micro-hydro. Just one of three boutique styled cottages at Shoal Bay, The RAVEN COTTAGE sits on the hillside overlooking the water. There are 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen and a cozy woodstove. Mt. Bate (Jayco trailer site)

Welcome to Tahsis Farm, a 187 acre (76 hectare) property situated 3km south west of Tahsis on a steep rocky mountainside, with a pebble beach, 90ft waterfall nearby, and spectacular views of Tahsis Mountain, Mt McKelvie and Rugged Mountain. The Mount Bate site consists of a 2018 Jayco 175RD SLX trailer equipped with all the basic amenities: a gazebo with patio lighting, a BBQ, and a propane fire table. This site also has a private path leading to a sitting area with patio chairs.

The suite has all you will need to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. Our home is within walking distance to the wharf and the down town core. For all the skier or the guest that want to ski or hike Mt Washington it is only a short 40 min.drive away. Our suite is in our primary residence.

The property is 40 private acres, bordering the crystal clear waters of the Salmon River and features majestic old growth forest, grassy meadows, and many species of edible and culturally significant plants. Guests are graced with regular visits from a local herd of Roosevelt Elk and the annual salmon run draws in wildlife of all kinds. ***MINIMUM STAY: 2 nights
