We needed a place to stay that was close enough to downtown KC without all the “big city” noise or stay at a typical mundane hotel. Ana’s Star Wars themed flat was just absolutely perfect for us to feel like home (since we are big Star Wars fans). The bed was so comfortable, neither of us had a problem falling asleep and waking up feeling refreshed the next day. Neighborhood/neighbors were quiet and polite. Plus it felt like a safe area! We will definitely be returning for our next stay for future visits to see Sporting KC games or concerts in KC! Thanks again, Ana! 😊

Just what we were looking for while in Shawnee for a youth baseball tournament. The outside of the building and the interior hallway are unpleasant to look at, but the inside of the unit is very nice. The building address was hard to locate and read, especially when arriving in the evening hours (a fresh coat of paint on the numbers would help). Although identified as fit for four adults, we had two adults and a teenage son. It was just right. The bed and sofa bed are very firm. The water pressure was good; the water temperature fluctuated depending on the time of day. There is a HyVee grocery store and Dollar Tree two minutes away as well as a plethora of restaurants/eateries (both local and national chains). We would stay here again.

Unit was clean and had everything we needed minus a washer and dryer. The bed was comfy. In a great location to get around the area. 15 minutes from everywhere we needed to go. Parking is right outside back door and well lit.

Great location in Overland Park! Private entrance and parking, easy check in and out. Perfect for a quick KC trip, you will need a car!

The photos show the unit exact as it is. Very clean, comfortable, and well designed. We utilized the kitchen for breakfast, lunch and a couple of dinners. Mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. Bathrooms were spotless. Cecille was always responsive when questions arose. She had good recommendations for dinners. The surrounding area and neighborhood was lovely with many conveniences such as gas stations and the Hen House Market for groceries and good prepared foods available. Would definitely stay there again if back in the area.

This was the perfect place for me to stay. I was having an event at the convention center and I wanted a place that was quiet and out of the way but not too far. Janine's place was perfect because it was close enough for me to take a Lyft to the convention center most of the time (and each way was less than $10) and a driveway for me to leave my car in a safe area. The house is extremely spacious and decorated nicely. The floors are a little uneven...but it lends to the charm of the house. The lighting was great and it wasn't just overhead lights...there were some nice mood table lamps. Overall it was a great spot and I hope I can stay there again next year!

Ana’s place was exactly like described. Just a short drive to local restaurants and shopping. It sits right near the highway which makes it very accessible to other places.

This was a very nice place to stay. It was close to the grocery store so if we needed something to eat it was only three minutes away and in a safe neighborhood. I do also like how it had a Herbal Life nutrition place right around the corner that I could walk to because I needed my energy tea. I also want to thank you guys for not canceling on me like the other Airbnb did because otherwise I’m not sure what we would of done for a place to stay at. Thanks again!

Joy was a fabulous host. He place is beautiful and in a perfect location. I was there for my daughter’s graduation and it was in a perfect location. The patio is beautiful and a great place to relax. I would definitely go back! Thank you!!

Great location for KU visit while having all the perks of Mass St. shops/restaurants/shopping steps away. Fun garage door open concept was perfect on a spring day and the Saturday farmers market right outside was a pleasant bonus. Once we mastered the parking app, things simplified- but it was a bit confusing at first as the app was having some technical issues with location. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and host was quickly responsive with some TV issues we had. We would definitely stay at The Happy Hawk again.

Laurie was an amazing host! she was very responsive and helpful any time I needed it. The place itself was clean and well kept. Felt very comfortable being there.

Very modern and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens. Directions were perfectly understandable.

The location can’t be beat and the condo has everything we needed for a week long stay. The bed was really comfortable too. We’d definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in Lawrence!

We loved our stay at Abbeys! It was exactly what we needed for the weekend and we loved being able to walk everywhere that we needed to go. Great walkable dining and trails and very close to Whole Foods. Our dog was able to use a fully fenced backyard and we were so happy to have peace of mind with him in the home. Would love to stay again!
