We had a truly wonderful time at Besides Still Waters. We met Richard and Sue some time ago and were immediately struck not only by their enthusiasm, but also by their genuine kindness. When they told us about their lodge, we made a mental note to visit someday — and we’re so glad we finally did. From the moment we arrived, we were pampered in a way that goes beyond what even the most luxurious hotel could offer. The care and attention we received made us feel both completely at home and incredibly special. Every meal was a delight, and the setting is absolutely beautiful. What made the experience truly exceptional was the connection with Richard and Sue themselves. They are truly wonderful people, and it was such a pleasure to spend time with them. We genuinely enjoyed every moment and are already looking forward to returning in the future!

We felt right at home with Jerry and his lovely family. The compound was beautiful, really well kept and the team there were friendly and helpful. There was so much space for my children to safely roam so we were able to relax. Really grateful for the laundry service as Uganda is very dusty. The apartment was comfortable and we had everything we needed. It was quiet and we slept really well. There is a high level of security around the clock so we felt very safe. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we were coming back.

Pictures don't do justice to this place. it's huge, spacious, quiet and also very clean. Check in was seamless and I loved the fact that Chintu kept checking in on me to see if I was okay. Lovely place and easy to find. I'd definately consider it again and again whenever I'm in Jinja. it's also very secure and very safe...

Our stay at this Airbnb exceeded all our expectations. If you're seeking a peaceful group retreat with abundant privacy, a caring and cooperative caretaker, and the companionship of a wonderful dog(Pluto), this is the place for you. Nile View Cabin - Jinja

We loved this place so much and had such an incredible getaway. Great for kids! We have two little ones! We booked a cabin while friends of ours booked another on the same compound. With the river access we were able to book a boat to take us across the river, where we rented kayaks and paddle boards and had a wonderful day on the Nile. We had a fire both nights that we stayed here. Such a sweet spot!
