Peaceful unique gite in the countryside

Our family would highly recommend this beautiful gite in Javerlhac-et-la-Chapelle Saint Robert. It is very relaxing and comfortable and has amazing views of the surrounding countryside. It is well located for visiting the market towns of Brantome and Piégut-Pluviers as well as the nearby lake. The very clean and spacious accommodation is very well equipped and provided everything we needed. It has a private veranda with sun loungers which we found very peaceful. We received a very warm and friendly welcome and felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. We would definitely return to this lovely gite!

The living area features a large stone fireplace, serving as a focal point. Two armchairs are positioned around a small table on a patterned rug. Natural light enters through a window adorned with burgundy curtains, while a floor lamp provides additional lighting.

The accommodation is located in a quiet and peaceful environment, with a nice exterior suitable for young and old. Alexandre and his partner welcomed us very well and showed us some nearby places to visit. The place is spacious and well laid out, the kitchen is small but functional. I recommend this cottage without hesitation.

The living area is furnished with two dark sofas facing a wooden coffee table. A television is positioned on a cabinet against the wall, while a staircase leads to the upper level. The open kitchen with dining area is visible in the background.

Gretta's welcome was super friendly and enthusiastic. Perfect hostess! The house is big enough for 2 people. Super neat! Large estate around it which belongs to the gite (not fenced). Nontron with shops and supermarkets in short distance. We enjoyed it! What a peace and space! Highly recommended for nature people
