Java villas

The house is absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. We were traveling with a toddler, and it was a great place for kids, from the pool to the river and well-maintained gardens and paths. There was so much to do and see for the whole family. The house itself was luxurious, and the food was amazing and came in huge portions that were affordable. I highly recommend staying here, be it for a short outing from Bali or as a main travel destination. I am so glad I found Ericka's place and will definitely be visiting again soon.

Great place if its just you and your partner. amazing view and place. loved everything about it! the price/room is amazing value for your money! only downside i had, was no rice cooker and ants, many ants on the kitchen. but both are small issues compared to what you get. maybe possibly bigger issue would be only 1 key/pass to get inside. but loved staying here very much! would do it again.

We were at villa Pasirbaru for 4 days. These were wonderful, peaceful days spent relaxing in the pool and enjoying the views. Dewi is a wonderful person and her staff were extremely helpful. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this tiny house was crafted with exceptional care and cultural sensitivity. Every detail, from the intricately wooden doors to the layout of the rock garden paths, and full of palm trees and rice fields, reflected a deep respect for traditional Balinese architecture. This wasn’t just a place to stay; it was an immersive experience that honored its surroundings. We left feeling not only well-rested, but also grateful to have stayed in a space so lovingly attuned to Bali’s rich heritage. Jiwa Laut is a very special place, more than just a joglo at the beach, it is a hub for efforts to protect and improve the local environment and beyond. The hosts have won awards all over the world for their documentary film about plastic waste in Java and they are happy to answer any questions you might have. We visited on a Friday and had the beautiful beaches, nestling between the cliffs, more or less to ourselves. Obviously great effort is put in to keeping them beautiful and clean. The accommodation is very private and restful, full of beautiful objects. Highly recommend to order ikan bakar (bbq fish) for dinner!

The atmosphere is nice because it's in a housing complex, the host is very responsive in the chat, the place is clean, the bathroom is clean and you can get fragrant towels and soap, highly recommended and will return again

We had 5 fantastic days. The accommodation is a bit off the busy road, so you don't have to worry about it at all. Enjoy the sounds of nature and the beautiful view of the rice fields in peace and quiet. We spent a few days with Budi, a super nice, good English speaking taxi driver who knows Java (and especially Yogjakarta) like the back of his hand. Nothing on the schedule is too crazy or too much. Every day we enjoyed the breakfast that the girls freshly prepared in the kitchen next to the room. We would definitely recommend this accommodation! We enjoyed it!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this villa! The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating—always kind, patient, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure every little request of ours was met. The villa itself is a gem. It’s peaceful, tranquil, and has such a special vibe—something beautifully timeless that reminded me of the home I grew up in. It blends traditional charm with modern comforts in the best possible way. We came here for a family vacation, and everyone had a fantastic time. My mom loves to cook for the family, and she was delighted with the fully equipped kitchen that had everything she needed. The kids practically lived in the pool, swimming twice a day and having the time of their lives. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re already talking about coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Pontoon houseboat! The staff at Omah Alchy are extremely kind and helpful - giving us information about the island and booking scooter rental, a snorkelling trip and other transport for us. The location is close to the main town but far enough away that you feel you are in a private paradise. The houseboat was fantastic - being able to go for a kayak straight out of the door was a dream. Linen and room was clean, breakfast was delicious, and clear instructions were provided regarding the quirks of staying on a boat. We highly recommend this stay if you are heading to Karimunjawa!

Perfect place to take a breathtaking!! The place is very quiet and peaceful, the view is amazing plus its built next to a river so you can hear the calming noise of the current while youre relaxing there. Even my son can focus and finishing his assignments there! The house is really clean, the bed is so comfy (we fell asleep as soon as we arrived to the place) :D. We also like the design of the house, the mixture of modern and traditional design makes the place look unique and also familiar at the same time. The house also has a lot of entertainment like books, DVDs, and instruments that keeps you entertained there. Mrs Puji is really a friendly person and easy to communicate with. Also the breakfast that Mrs Puji prepared for us in every day of our stay was very delicious, the fruits were also fresh and sweet. Overall i really recommend this place and the next time we visit we'll stay here. Thank you, Mrs. Puji !!

We had a nice stay. The place is very clean and each room is very spacious. The view also breathtaking. The heated pool is a plus, love it. The downside is only the road to get there, the road is quite steep, better use suv or jeep to get there.
