The apartment is near the city of Žilina (10 min. by car), offers a large kitchen, a cozy living room and beautiful surroundings. The apartment is located in a new building, it is fully equipped, furnished with new furniture. It also offers a spacious terrace with a gas barbecue grill (free for guests). The private jacuzzi is located in the room, right next to the apartment. The price for the jacuzzi is 30€/4h. A cot is also available. For stays longer than three nights, guests receive a gift.

"Vikingský" ako sme ho od začiatku volali bol pôvodne senník, kde bolo len seno. Podložie je z pôvodneho kameňa, kde je kamenná pivnica. Minidom je pre dobrodruhov a tích, čo si chcú zažiť a prebývať na mieste, ktoré nás doslova spája s koreňmi. Prečo?Zistíte,keď vojdete dovnútra. Má zhruba 16m2 s krbom, ponúka 2 komfortné miesta na odpočinok/spanie na prízemí a v hornej časti 2 menšie miesta. Vonku je suché wc a pod drevenicou je pre vás kúpelňa (sprcha, pračka, pitná voda, wc).

There is a kitchenette with basic equipment and a stove. Around the house is a deck with a bench and outdoor fireplace.

Our wooden cabin is situated between two rivers. So it is a wonderfull and very peacefull place to stay. Downstair, there is a main room, with modern kitchen, fridge, washing machine, diswasher machine... there is a fireplace, that can heat whole cabin. The large terace is great place where you can enjoy your cup of tea or coffee. the garden and surounding is a really great place for kids. and if the weather will be bad, thay will maybe happy from swing low in the cabin... :-)

To save money on hotels, I renovated in 2012 the second apartment in the basement of our house to offer accommodation to artists and performers coming to Stanica & Nová synagóga art centres where I work. When it is free, travelers and tourists are welcome. We are in the town centre, in great neighborhood called Mala Praha (Little Prague), close to everything and quiet in the same time. The apartment is spacious and beautiful, everything looks like new. The location is also very good, the center of Zilina is about 15 mins by car, and it is also a good starting point for hiking. In fact, you can start walking right from the house through the village, up into the mountains. At first I was afraid that the apartment would be noisy, as it is just by a busy road, but the rooms face the other direction and the sound insulation is also good, besides, there is barely any traffic during the night. For the size and the quality of the apartment, the price was also good. All in all, I can really recommend this place.

Filip´s place is great, and he is a great host. Very cozy appartment, we enjoyed out stay there. Filip also provided a crib for our baby, and even though there were some minor issues in the appartment right before our arrival, he solved them very creatively and to our satisfaction. Only minor inconveniences were a little weaker internet at times and, for me personally, the curtains did not provide as much shading as I would like. However I absolutely recommend staying here, great value for the price.
