Serene fully-furnished 900 sq. ft. studio guesthouse 6 blocks up the hill from the beach, with 180 degree ocean-view, and 180 degree mountain and wilderness view from a private balcony. The guesthouse is artfully decorated, and is quiet. Our whole neighborhood is affluent and beautiful with plenty of beaches to explore. It is the perfect place to stay and visit remote Big Sur to the south, but also be close to the incredible restaurants & shops in Carmel. Our guests prefer a no pets policy.

Sight see all day and escape to a pastoral setting five minutes from Carmel Valley Village with quaint shops, restaurants and over 20 wine tasting rooms. Visit with our alpacas, horses, giant tortoises, goats, sheep, donkey and more! Wake up to sunshine, a rooster crowing and the donkey braying for breakfast! (Due to the nature of our farm we have a strict "No Pets" policy).

Barlocker's Rustling Oaks Ranch - The Studio

The ranch is close to Monterey Bay Aquarium, California Rodeo Salinas, Pinnacles National Monument, John Steinbeck's Museum and Victorian House, and the Laguna Seca Raceway. The ranch studio apartment includes two twin beds, a full bath, and half kitchen. Pets are welcome upon pre-approval from the on-site manager. No pets are to be left unattended. Centrally located, 100 miles to San Francisco, 15 miles to Monterey Peninsula (Fisherman's Wharf, Aquarium, Pacific Grove, & Carmel). The unit is brand new. Cozy, sunny, and spacious, with lots of privacy. There is a Microwave, Keurig, and mini-fridge (no freezer) available for use. There is NO stove, oven, or air-conditioning.

When you are ready to take a break from it all, escape to the mountains and relax in your 400 sq ft attached but private studio. Lounge by the pool during the day, and unwind in the hot tub with your favorite glass of wine from one of the many nearby wineries. When you are ready to mingle again, Carmel Valley Village is 45 min away, with Carmel by the Sea and Monterey being another 15 min. For the adventurous, Arroyo Seco campground is less than 10 min; and Pinnacles NP is 45 min.
