Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in James City County

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...loved the back patio/deck area, the house was clean and well decorated, and the host was super responsive. We liked it so much that we tried to stay another day (the host did everything he could to make that happen), but unfortunately, we were unable to do so. We've stayed at 5 or 6 Airbnbs, but this has been our favorite so far!

Anne was wonderful! Accommodating and very responsive. The property was beautiful and very well stocked. We did not want for a thing! Anne has thought of everything anyone may need. We would definitely stay here again!! Shirley

Dan and Sam were very friendly, responsive hosts. The house and setting were beautiful and perfect for a family. The toys and books in the kids' room were a huge hit, and we all enjoyed the ample outdoor seating and very comfy beds. The ferry was super convenient and fun to watch, without actually hearing any traffic. And we saw so many osprey and bald eagles from the porch! I was charged with finding a rental for 6 adults and 3 kids, and each adult (and my kids) told me that this home was a gem! I'm so grateful to Dan and Sam for sharing their home with our family!

The house was immaculate and clean. It was also the perfect space for our little family. We enjoyed coming back to a clean and refreshing space after a long day of sight seeing. The house was also in the perfect spot; close to all of our vacation destinations and grocery store. We enjoyed playing card games in the evening in the refreshing A/C. Would recommend!

My amazing daughter was graduating from A-School in the Coast Guard, and this place was an easy 30 minute drive to Yorktown. Dogs enjoyed their first fenced in back yard. Highly recommend this place…dogs or no dogs…it was spotless clean, with all kinds of homey decor throughout. Even a nice welcome basic of the essentials…never seen that before…very nice touch Heather, even though we brought our own. Thank you for hosting us. You made our 1000 mile drive down there, a home away from home.

This house and property is really special. It is a beautifully maintained and renovated old house, and has great views of the woods and the creek. We enjoyed evenings on the beautiful porch taking in the views. The house itself was well appointed and clean, with minimal/essential furnishings. A few other reviews did mention the noise from the highway and it is true—though it did not disturb us except for in the night, when an occasional loud truck might pass. It was a great base for my family and two small dogs to explore the local sights. Would definitely consider staying here again.

This home was awesome. The back yard and fire place area was so relaxing in the evening. The house was adorable. We loved all of the decorations. The front porch was great for me to sit early in the morning and have a cup of coffee. There are a lot of different games Lisa has in the house for everyone to play in the evening after a day of visiting all the attractions. Lisa was great to provide a smore's basket for us. I would highly recommend this home to everyone.

Very clean, and far enough from the town for peace and quiet but close enough to get to places in a quick manner.

Great deal. Lovely property with tons of amenities for the kids. Overall we had a great experience and it was the perfect combination of units that allowed our families to be together but have the individual space we needed when little kids needed to go to bed before older cousins. The only tiny issue I had was that at first the woman checking us into the property was confused about the reservation and tried to tell us we only had two units when I was under the (correct!) impression I had booked four. While that was a bit unnerving we sorted it out within a couple minutes once I showed her the reservation said it was for four units. But outside of those two minutes everything else was a delightful breeze.

I really enjoyed my visit to Williamsburg. Mike’s place is very convenient. Has a shuttle to everything super clean and the bed was really comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was so beautifully appointed and so cozy and spotless. Jill was a great host and she communicated everything we needed to know very well. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to everyone

Elizabeth was awesome! She also came through quickly and at the last minute for us to have a place to stay. We were not disappointed, her place was clean and everyone at the resort was pleasant and treated us well. I would definitely be happy to stay again the next time we r in town! We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The accommodations greatly exceeded our expectations. The unit was very clean and cozy. The check-in office staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and highly responsive to our needs. Overall, we were very satisfied with the vacation resort property and we highly recommend staying here.

Fabulous stay. Apartment very large. 2 master suites with king comfy beds. Huge walk-in tile shower and bathtub in other bathroom. We didn’t even use 1 bedroom & bathroom. Full kitchen…Yes with tons of counter space. Had a really great deck with big green plastic chairs & 1 tables. Gorgeous deck view of the woods….very private! Plenty of parking and the activities this place has was phenomenal. Outdoor giant checkers, playground, tennis & pickleball courts, mini golf, full gym, indoor pool, hot tub, adult pool and huge family pool. Nice comfy chairs, pool bar attached to restaurant with everything on the menu for family’s. Ice cream too. Game room with free arcade games and tons of them. I know I left more fun out cuz we were only there for 2 1/2 days. My 15 year old and I really enjoyed our stay. We hit Go Ape Adventures, Aldi for food/snacks, Busch Gardens, shopped, hit one of the ton of restaurants around the corner. Very convenient location from lots of fun!!!

Located in a very nice complex. Photos match actual amenities and apartment interior. Kitchen very small, but well equiped.

Absolutely loved the place. So many accommodations and centrally located. It would be impossible to find something better. Will definitely be back.

The rental itself had spacious bathrooms and bedrooms and was very quiet. The resort had a nice pool. Good location close to lots of things to do. Would come back again.

Beautiful location and the amenities are awesome!

Patriot's Place was the perfect location for W&M's graduation weekend! Very roomy. We were only 4 people, but it could have easily accommodated 8. Perfectly clean and serviceable, had all the amenities listed, and easy-peasy check out which we very much appreciated. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Our place was very clean, the stay was private and in a nice location. Debbie was very helpful and responsive
