Downtown cottage, AC, W/D, patio, sleeps 4!

Super close to downtown Colorado Springs, Memorial Park and many other amenities the Springs has to offer. Complete stand alone cottage with parking and separate full fenced yard with a large patio. Built in 2019, the cottage is super well insulated, quiet and cozy. TV on main level and a TV upstairs. Air conditioning and everything you need for a comfortable stay except for a full size oven. We have a cooktop and counter top oven but not a full size oven.

Had a great stay here. Minutes from everything it seemed. Only drawback was it needs a new BBQ grill, which they now about and plan to replace. Private outdoor space was a bit small but very nice. Great communication, very easy to get along with.

Fairly quiet place. Other guests in the unit above can be a bit distracting. The place offered complimentary snacks and local beverages. QR codes throughout the unit to assist with any questions. 7' ceilings so it feels like you're in a basement instead of street level. All tile floors throughout with throw rugs. Alexa was a fun bonus to use to listen to music. Nice size TV. All cupboards were labeled in the kitchen. Made it easy to find anything you may need.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay the hosts were kind, responsive, & clearly put a lot of care into the space. It’s peaceful, well-stocked, & especially good for couples or families with young kids. There’s a large, deep, undivided sink great for bathing little ones, thoughtful child-safe details, & two nice outdoor seating areas. High end appliances.!However, some notes: The listing says “driveway parking for one vehicle” in one spot & “two” in another, but it’s actually gravel parking between the Airbnb & an outbuilding. There’s not enough room for a wheelchair accessible van, & the gravel is difficult using walkers. Inside, many fixtures (shower head, mirror, hooks) are mounted very high, & the shower threshold is taller and wider than expected. The addition of grab bars would help solve this problem. We had to rewash linens, clean the washer, and remove & wash a mildewed shower curtain. Still, the space is lovely & we’re giving 5 stars because the hosts are new & clearly trying hard.

I often think we'll return to our airbnb stays again in the future, but this time, we really did a repeat stay because Lila and her place are GREAT! Lila's home is as sweet as it can be and Lila is as friendly and welcoming as she can be. Lila communicates promptly and made sure we had all that we needed for a short stay in Colorado Springs. Her place is quiet, clean and really demonstrates the ethos of airbnb in my thinking. I recommend her place highly.

Our stay at Patricias home was lovely. She was very friendly, always responsive and helpful! Her place was quiet and peaceful. She was flexible with our timing as we had some delays! Overall a wonderful spot and stay we would absolutely stay again!

Amazing place and lovely hosts. I had the pleasure of chatting with Cora and Raegan during my short stay and they made me feel like family . The home is full of history and I am so grateful I got to stay and support them. Looking forward to coming back . Highly recommend 😊!
