Vacation rentals with a patio in Islands

Truly a great apartment! Fully matched the listing. It is spotless and everything has been thought of: tea, coffee, washing machine, you name it. It is in a quiet area, but at the bottom of the mountain there is a nice restaurant to enjoy the sunset. We had to mess with the jacuzzi for a while: it went on every hour in the middle of the night, but the host responded very quickly and was able to explain to us how to solve this. We had a lovely stay, I would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent stay in this very nice apartment. We enjoyed the quality (and cleanliness!) of the premises and the magnificent views of the Parthenon. Communication with Maria was very fluid and clear. In short, we highly recommend this place for visiting Athens!

We had a great experience at Maria’s place. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was AMAZING. Great communication on the front end and extremely accommodating on the back end including us to check out a little later than the normal check out time. This was greatly appreciated! We were welcomed with a friendly smile and offer to help us with our luggage. The description was accurate regarding the stairs. There are many many stairs and if it was kind of Maria to offer to take our bags up. The home was so beautiful with a spectacular view. We appreciated the welcome basket of goodies. I recommend to definitely get a car. There’s an affordable place very close by. There are only two restaurants near by and you have to walk a mile up and down steep hills to get there. The car makes it easier and you can drive to Porto Rafti. Second, get a translator app for your phone-instructions for appliances are in Greek (washer and dryer). Lastly, the ac in the room worked great.

The place is accessed via a dirt road, which we were a bit worried about, but in the end it was fine. We were alone, so it was a private place for us. The view is amazing, the outdoor seating area provides a great breakfast and dinner place (only the cats were a bit annoying sometimes). The little things prepared in the fridge were very nice. The beach is very close and there were few people there (pre-season, in May).

Manolis was very friendly and welcoming—he welcomed us in person, gave us a bottle of wine and water as a welcome. His place is beautiful looking out toward the east of the island with a gorgeous view and lovely jacuzzi. It was a beautiful and modern location to stay. The location is in Pyrgos Kallistis, a quieter village high up on Thira (Santorini) island with panoramic views of the island. About a ten minute walk into town where there are many delicious cafes and restaurants as well as the bus stop to get into more touristy parts of the island. I would recommend renting a vehicle if staying here as the bus is relatively infrequent and unreliable. All in all a wonderful stay thanks to a beautiful location and hospitable host!

Comfortable apartment and beautiful sea views Nevertheless, we regretted the reception by SMS, and a small lack of equipment to our liking. No microwave, real table on the terrace for dining and deckchair for sunbathing. In addition, going down to the beach by the stairs was not possible for me It's not up to standard. The last step measures more than 40 cm and there is no ramp. I had reported my knee problems... Without these small shortcomings, the apartment would deserve a 15/10 VERY GOOD

Our stay at Matias and Leo's place was nothing short of wonderful. Leo was a very responsive host, and kindly responded very promptly to our requests. We had a great check in experience, meeting Leo at the property, despite the late hour. The host's recommendations were excellent, and the location of the property was a short 5 min walk to the nearest trainline (Sepolia) where we could easily access all the most popular sites in Athens. A great little kitchen, equipped with everything we needed. And while the bathroom was small, was still very functional. The bed was comfy, and clean and the balcony filled with plants, a day bed and comfy seats were a great place to sit in the mornings. All in all we could not fault our stay and would highly recommend to those staying in Athens!

What an amazing apartment. Fantastic location with stunning views, yet very private - no one else was in the complex while we were there. Lots of facilities; the big barbecue and pool were our absolute favourite. 😉 Panos was a great host - very quick to respond and shares tips for places to see and restaurants. Just make sure to bring enough mosquito repellent, if you don’t want to end up as insect dinner.

There are not enough stars to describe how amazing Catherine was! The place and the views, were out of this world! From the moment we arrived they helped bring our luggage to the Airbnb and she greeted us with such kindness. She set up any and all reservations we requested, including meals and any day trips or activities. She was truly the best host I have ever had, would recommend her to anyone, we will be back!!

What an amazing location! Right where you want to be but a little outside of the main crowds. Alekos has great communication and ensures you are taken care of the entire trip. He owns the bakery at the top of the stairs from the Airbnb and provides fresh breakfast pastries every morning… they were excellent! He also helped us with transportation and restaurant recommendations. He does it all! The space was nice and cozy while also very clean. It was perfect for my wife and I on our honeymoon. We would highly recommend Alekos as a host and place to stay!

We had a wonderful time in the villa. Manolis was always very helpful and provided us support whenever we needed. I would absolutly recommend the villa. Especially the view is outstanding

We had a wonderful time at this house! It is just like in the pictures – very clean, lovingly furnished and in a great location. The king-size beds are very comfortable. The contact with the hosts was friendly, respectful and absolutely smooth from the beginning. Already at the welcome there was a small, warm welcome gift in the kitchen: honey, olive oil, cookies and raki – a very nice gesture! The view of the sea is beautiful. It should be noted that the house is very noisy. It is located on a small residential street, but cars still drive there and you can hear it extremely in bed, especially in the morning. During our stay, we were even surprised with fresh eggs and oranges from our own production. As a farewell, there was again honey and a bottle of raki – simply great! The hosts were always available, helpful and extremely hospitable. Thank you for everything!

Quiet location, very suitable for those seeking relaxation. A car is highly recommended. Pure nature, very nice view of the sea.

The house is amazing set in a beautiful location with views of the mountains and sea, it is a very peaceful place but also not far to walk to the little village where there are restaurants and shops. A car is nice to explore around the island and it is very easy to get around. Our host Katrina was extremely nice, very attentive and made sure our stay was exceptional. She makes sure everywhere is clean and tidy, shares local delights and was a very friendly host. I would highly recommend this property.

We can only agree with the many positive reviews. We had a great time in the beautiful mountain village – it was a special experience. Every morning we had breakfast on the rooftop and enjoyed the tranquility. At first we thought we would miss the sea, but that was not the case at all. We really managed to relax – walks in the area were enough. We actually planned to do more, but we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere so much that we took it easy. Nevertheless, we were traveling by car and made some nice trips, including to the coast, where we discovered great restaurants. A vacation that will stay with us in very good memory. The Mulberry is a fantastic place to stay! It is well equipped, had a nice pool and terraces. From the rooftop you have a great view over the sea. We had some issues with warm water during the first 2 mornings but Michael and Tina took it seriously and did their utmost to fix it (and they managed). Would love to come back one day!

We loved our stay in this apartment. The view was beautiful and the design of the apartment was well thought out and felt very authentic. The little touches like recessed lighting, electric shutters, fans, aircon, and antique furniture were much appreciated and elevated our stay — we found it very well suited to short term stays. In general, it would have been nice if there was slightly more upkeep/ freshening up of the place (particularly in the kitchen) but that was our only real gripe. Similarly, the furniture, despite being pretty, was not very functional, especially in the twin room and kitchen (which could benefit from a little revamp and restock of supplies like more cooking apparatus and better washing up facilities). But as we were only there for 3 days, it didn’t bother us much and instead we ate out for every meal. Overall, I would definitely recommend this apartment. Great location, authentic design, responsive host and beautiful views.

The absolute best location and view in Athens!

This suite was perfect! Ioannis was super responsive and helpful during the check in process. We were able to do laundry and use this Airbnb as a perfect clean reset to our lengthy trip. The balcony had a beautiful view of the acropolis too!

Our stay was wonderful. The view from the patio of the Acropolis is magnificent, especially at night. The apartment is clean and nice. The neighborhood was quiet with an easy walk to the sights. The host provided us with many recommendations and was quick to respond to any questions. We accidentally broke the glass shower door and he was so gracious and understanding while concerned that no one was hurt. The massage chair was a welcome reprieve after walking around town. Great apartment and amazing host!

Wonderful location. Within minutes of walking to anything you want. Place was comfortable, clean and spacious. Great showers and hot water. AC worked. Best of all, were how wonderful the hosts are. They helped us arranged for transportation from Airport and during a taxi strike. I’d stay here again because of them and the place.

Zhana was one of the best hosts we’ve had the pleasure of using through this platform. She was extremely helpful and always responsive to any questions we had. Regarding the apartment, it looks better in person than in the pictures. The neighbourhood is quiet but close to many restaurants and the metro which gets you anywhere you need to go in Athens. The patio was a favourite of ours, having such a large, private outdoor space in the middle of the city was amazing. Bed was comfy, all appliances and finishes looked nearly new, we had zero issues with this place during our 5 night stay

This apartment was perfect for us! The high ratings are not only for the apartment, but for the best host I’ve ever had. Alexandra was so proactive and eager to make our stay easy and enjoyable. She has a great list of local restaurant recommendations. I gladly accepted Alexandra’s offer to arrange transportation for our arrival (from a ferry) and departure (to the airport). This assistance really reduced the stress for me and I can’t thank her enough for that help. The apartment is as described and had everything we needed to feel at home. The view of Acropolis is amazing! The location is safe and peaceful at night. We walked everywhere while there…only about 10 minutes to get to the Acropolis area surrounded by shops and restaurants. I highly recommend Alexandra’s place…especially for a family looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay while in Athens.
